Ohhh... I really want these markers, especially the light colors, they're so pretty. I'm tired of only having watercolors to color in my sketchbook. And holy stars that forest green !!! I love green...
Your videos are always so relaxing to watch! I think it’s sweet how you put so much care into your art and the items that you pack for your shop for your viewers!
Maybe you already know this. In that case, it's a tip for readers of the comments: alcohol markers also lend themselves really well to be used in a loose painterly manner. Just because they CAN be blended really well and CAN dry so evenly, doesn't mean that's how you HAVE to use them. Using them more painterly is not a very common method on RUclips, I think. But the first time I saw someone putting down loose areas and loose strokes of colour, overlapping each other in cool ways because the colours are so transparent, my mind was blown. It looked so different. And you can finish it with coloured pencils in your usual way (instead of doing linework first and then colouring it in). I think it could work very well for your art style.
I have been using the Ohuhu mix media sketchbook for watercolour doodles. It handles my style of watercolours quite well! I also use it for some alcohol marker doodles as well
I love rats and mice, they are both great pets. And yes you do need two, they also like climbing and large spaces so be sure to get a big cage (like a really large bird cage.) I don't have any at the moment but I'd love to have some again.
Ever time I go through art block I find videos where you draw stuff other people have recommended. Even though I could ask my friends, sometimes it’s just fun to see random peoples ideas
I have two sets of ohuhu markers (fine tip and brush), but they're alcohol markers so I don't use them much. I love the sketches that you did with these markers though !
@@DominikaHare Nope, had the same for me. The vid only had 4 likes at the time so it makes sense. And it said there was only 1 comment, which was yours
I always go through phases and currently it's alcohol marker, which I never expected to get this into. I completely understand why they're not your favourite medium. The set of waterbased markers looks so good, wonder why the alcohol ones don't come in a case more like that. Maybe I'll dig up some waterbased markers from somewhere soon, that's fun, but a very difficult medium to me. You are one of the main youtubers I study art techniques from, your way of working and your art style, very interesting. Edit: wow, this comment is very disjointed, had no idea until I reread it.
Love the art! It's co cute especially the rats! I also have a question, what websites do you suggest for starting an online store? I want to sell art prints one day and was curious. Anyways, have a nice day!
I use shopify but that's better for those who already have an audience since you have to direct all the traffic there yourself - Etsy is better for people discovering your art but I've heard mixed reviews about it lately (with all the new fees and stuff)
I thought "whoo, Jelarts has taken us outside and is sketching on the grass!" but then I remembered you have a green rug... :)
We can pretend we're outside!
omg I thought the same thing lol
I love watching your videos when I don't feel motivated to draw! It's like having a drawing buddy cheering me on
Aw thank you! I'm glad to hear that 🙂
Rats with hats!!
🐀 👒
K but the water based markers in the pack are SO pretty!!

Do you know any artists that do this so I can see an example? Or maybe you? Sounds amazing

I love their alcohol markers so much 😊
Oh rats! Now I'm going to buy another set of markers. XD
I bought the water based markers after I saw this video! They're really fun to use.
Honestly I think Ohuhu's marker pad is some of the best sketchbook paper I've ever used, for lots of mediums! I can't wait to try the mixed media one!
so many colours! cute little ratties 😃

Ah, it's a shame I am not a big fan of markers, I usually prefer using colorful inks with paintbrushes.
Your the first comment! 😄
I agree, I kinda get jealous because I have a few but have no interest
@@alina_harms13 huh, I thought the other comments just weren’t loading.

@@JelArts ok, thanks for the advice!
Ok so I'm half asleep watching this and the plastic coming off the bag sounded like bacon in a frying pan
Can I be honest with you? I have never clicked buy on those Waterbased Markers so hard, I have been trying to find some markers like that for so long!
