Just a warning because you probably know that already : If he deploys his fins and approaching the sides of the aquarium, it is because he is irritated, he sees his reflection and thinks he sees an enemy. You can tape a landscape against the tank if he runs out trying to impress its reflection (they are very territorial fishes). So pretty drawings!
I've always heard it pronounced BAY-tah, like the second letter of the Greek alphabet. Alpha, Beta. (where we get alphabet from). But if it's spelled Betta with 2 T's, maybe it is bettuh
We have a betta fish at school, I've recently done some research on caring about them. I want to make are boy happy. Good luck with Rocky! They are amazing fishes. And your art is amazing too. 😄
I really like this new approach to the artbox video. The opening scene was so relaxing and fun. And watching you combine the art supplies the way you'd actually want to use them is both more enjoyable and more informative. I'm really inspired by how you combine fineliners and markers.
@@JelArts And it shows I think. Looking at the contents this way seems less like a chore, and more like opening a fun present. So I think it's a win win for all: more fun for you, more fun for us viewers, and better advertisement for the box.
Thank you for putting your Betta in a good sized tank. They live so much longer in filtered, spacey tanks rather than those small, less than a gallon "tanks".
every time i click on this video i think it’s a video i haven’t watched, but whenever i see the yellow-ish thing with a face on it in the intro, i remember that i’ve watched this video about ten times oml
I love that I read the newsletter and immediately get a video with the changes you were talking about being implemented already. It gives a more personal touch. I always say Betta as "Bay-ta". I had a couple in the past. The first one was Nemo 😂 and he's buried in a Altoids tin in my front yard. I don't know why. Then we had Alphie, later name changed to Bird because he loved to perch in his plastic tree. 😂
Betta fish are super fascinating! A while ago I discovered the channel Foo the Flowerhorn and they have a series about a betta fish tank. Once I started watching, I didn't want to stop anymore. It's so soothing. Love your pages! It's always inspiring to see you always find a way to use the items which come with the sketchbox. Awesome work :D
I got some of those chameleon liners in a Scrawlrbox and I have to confess I only use them as pure fineliners now as I can never accurately judge how long to leave the cap on for a colour fade. The Steadtler liners are a staple in my art supplies, I love them. 😊 If you're particularly interested in Betta fish, I can recommend a RUclips channel called Simply Betta. Taylor is very knowledgeable and she crates some lovely setups in her display tanks. 😊 I'd like a Betta but I think they might be a bit like Pringles - you can't stop at one, and I'd very quickly need a fish room! 😁
I have a betta! His name is Arlo and he sure does have a big personality! I wish I could draw bettas but I can't seem to get out of the habit of only drawing female characters.... it's what I'm comfortable with. I get uneasy drawing something I don't know very well.
I get this subscription box as well and honestly I love them. This box was a struggle for me and ended up having to doing two drawings because I do like the challenge of using only the supplies provided just so I know how they work and if I'll like them before using them with the rest of my supplies. I do try out all supplies I get like that though. Also I love your Betta drawings they are so pretty
very pretty fish :) the chameleon pens are so gimmicky, I will never think otherwise lol but I do really like the idea, but would probably get so annoyed at having to change the caps I would chuck them across the room :p
My survivor betta fish passed away yesterday. He (Honey) had neurological issues and had scale issues and was like that when I bought him at the store. I love this video, thank you for this. BTW your art is gorgeous.
Cool!! I just recently saw a koi betta fish for the first time and it made me want another betta... I had a “mustard gas” coloration of betta and he was the prettiest boy!!
I keep fish, I love fishkeeping and I have since I was 11 or 12. My all time favourite fish are Bettas which I unfortunately cannot keep right now. I currently am taking care of my 39 gallon aquarium, with four fish I didn’t get to choose but have to take care of lmao. I’ve got an angel fish, a glo fish?? A fish that I think is a pleco and this blue guy. The angel fish is aggressive to the glo fish but my parents won’t let me do anything about it sadly:( I hope to keep bettas in the future if my parents ever let me get another tank!
Oh here you are ! You didn't post yesterday and I got a little worried ! But I know that schedules are moving with you so (I don't say it as a bad thing !) and that I shouldn't get too fixed ^^' it's just... Maybe me but I have that feeling and sensations that many people (youtuber, artists,..) are getting burned out or are not feeling that well since a month or two... Might be me and the season 🤔
CougarPride 64 they need tanks with filters and heaters, they will die in a year or less in a bowl. If you’re just starting out, don’t start a sorority (a bunch of females together) just stick to one fish. Their tank should be bigger than one gallon at least but bigger is better cause you can clean it less. Speaking of cleaning, get a gravel cleaner that’s what I use for my tropical non beta aquarium and if you want to wipe the glass don’t use paper towels, my sisters Betta died from inhaling a piece of one. You can’t really trust the fish store employees because they are trying to sell fish, they might recommend you the wrong things to make money. If your betta has long fins don’t buy hard or sharp plastic plants, try soft ones. Join fish groups and forums, they’re fun and more experienced keepers can help you!
I had a little betta fish, sadly he passed away because I didn't know what was wrong with him and no one could tell me 🥺 I actually really miss him so much 😔
That’s wack you shouldn’t have to use only what u get in the box do whatever you want to do with the art supplies you don’t have listen to them and using only what’s in the box is hard art already is hard so if there gonna complain tell them to try art

I have betta fish too. They do have really big personalities. They are so fun. I love your betta drawings.
I love the talking between you too. This is was so funny! I’d love to see this more often 😂😂😂😂😂
I haven't seen Sketchbook in years..Remember when sketchbook was all over YT back in 2016..boy time flies!
betta fish are great when you want to go crazy with colors, I loved doing colored pencil drawings of them on brown paper, you should try it!
I was doing some betta fish studies when i got the notification! they're so so pretty!! ❤
They are! That's funny.

Thank you so much! It was definitely a lot more fun to make to have my sister help me film!

I know, some of the Betta tanks I see are so cruel! He's in a nice 10 gallon
I just sat down to do some sketching, perfect timing! The intro was great lol
Thank you haha
Haha you were slightly..disapproving of the ruler. I imagine artists who love to draw buildings could put it to good use.
Bravo! This video has so much personality and more depth to it 😁 You should be proud of yourself, very nice job :)
The betta sketches are vurrry pretty. I have a blue and red betta named Cesar, so im a big fan of them! :)
My mom has a bunch of chameleon markers that she just never used, they seem interesting but very gimmicky
Quick question: how long does it take for you to finish a sketchbook? Just curious if you're wondering why
She said It usually takes her about 3 months
Thanks for sharing! Your little Betas are adorable!! I love drawing a painting Beta fish. They are so elegant and yet fun characters!!

Watching your videos is so therapeutic. It’s always so calm, and I love the way you draw.

I really enjoyed this video, and it’s relaxing flow! You really inspire creativity with your videos and art process. Thank you for sharing!

If she made like a podcast or something i'd totally listen to it XD
i like your commentary, it almost makes me feel like im there and you’re talking to me.
Ahhh you're videos always inspire me to draw. Thank you for that! 💖
0:19 was hilarious
I actually love Chameleon products. I pick them up from time to time when I'm feeling experimental.
I always used the supplies in the box with my own supplies.

Cadence Youngblood I also only draw females. Guess we’re both stuck in our comfort zone for now
Great video

Beta fish are cool. I owned two but had to have them in separate bowl. They fight a lot.
Cool!! I just recently saw a koi betta fish for the first time and it made me want another betta... I had a “mustard gas” coloration of betta and he was the prettiest boy!!
Ohh I've seen those! They're really cool
