I’m the one who hit the deer for Steve Jones that was wondering why my camera went spinning was because I hit the deer with such a force the go pro came of the sticky mount.
Saw a squirrel run THROUGH someones wheel once, as we were riding...it came out the other side spinning, from being flicked by spokes, but tumbled on ground and kept going...dont think the deer wud have fitted tho 😉😁

I crossed the first log went to pop my wheel up on to the second section and it slipped off right as I was about to pull up and hit the cross log under the 2nd log. OTB I went!

Correction - us Aussies ride more in winter because summer is consistently over 30 degrees Celsius often going over 38 degrees meaning the forests close for bushfire risk. Winter is perfect anywhere other than the alpine regions.

So many crashes involve one common mistake- landing front wheel first. In the air you can correct the nose down attitude just by pulling back on the bars.

The deer one had me in stitches. Been there, though not caused by a deer. I did it snowboarding and fluffed the take off on a jump. Landed on my back on my left side and cracked a rib. Made similar noises.
Does anybody remember the one time only Dr. Ashton Injury Clinic video???.....I remember them laughing about it on a Dirt Shed Show because the crashes were so real feeling and the video in general had people in the comments like "Man, I could get really buggr'd up doing this MTB thing"
The funniest moment was when the one rider said to the other "Why were you going so fast?" as if the rider had any say over the speed gravity was dishing up!
I wish I had video of it but I was going about 22 mph down a technical decent all was going good until my handle bar stem bolts decided to not work anymore causing my bar to rotate forward and me going about 10 feet away from my bike I got away with a few scratches that day.
My sister face planted back in my BMX days. My dad felt sorry for her and bought her a nice BMX bike. We took her with us to the local BMX track and she did the same thing a Anna
you know what? you should film these live-streamed, but record the live chat separate from the video, so that way you can still edit the final product, then, you'll be able to sync up the chat with the footage and have real audience reactions alongside the presenter's reactions. If you wanted to really send it, setup a Discord server, then you can have voice conversations with the audience too, and that would open up the possibility of radio style contests that involve live conversation, and because you'd be doing it live but in a way that lets you repackage and repost it, it's no big deal if you end up with some wack-job in the voice chat, because you'll be editing it anyway!

Poor lad who got taken out by the deer .......got to call it "The Deer Strikes Back/revenge of the Deer" caption.......as in a Star Wars pun.....LOL...note from the video not only did the deer take him out but also seemed to turn its head towards the rider as taking flight into sort of headbutt!

After hitting the Deer his Camera maybe a gopro4 on a breakaway mount came off his Helmet . I have had it do the same thing.
