The Nuneaton Avoiding Line

After the east to west rail link "over the top" at Nuneaton closed to passengers, the line became freight only and was known as 'The Nuneaton Avoiding Line'.
Around thirty years later it was decided by British Railways that the line was surplus to requirements.
