Hi Meghan, another great video, thanks for sharing.
A little backstory on me, I was a heavy drinker for 45 years, got sober 4 1/2 years ago, best decision of my life. I have done a lot of research on what alcohol does to your body and brain. What shock me is as that alcohol is a carcinogen. Here’s what the World Health Organization (WHO) says
“ Alcohol is a toxic, psychoactive and dependence producing substance and has been classified as a Group 1 carcinogen by the International Agency for Research decades ago. This is the highest risk group which also includes asbestos, radiation and tobacco. No level of alcohol consumption is safe for our health”.
Thanks for sharing, keep up the great work.

I would like to see more videos with broader topics like this one as we can all learn more and expand our horizons from others sharing their experience. Good questions as well, Meghan & good editing on this one, Johnathon .

I agree on the diet! Definitely eat tons of eggs. The healthiest food on the planet. I eat meat based and eggs. I lift and spin bike 6 days a week. Low carb organic. I have done keto 10 years (natural) and lost and kept off 40 lbs. i fast until lunch every day. It’s easy and I eat a lot of calories. I am 5’8” and 130. I never go up more than 2/3 lbs in 10 years. I just quit social drinking which brought me here. Yes, sometimes I crave sugar and will cave for a dessert out once or twice a month. I don’t really care about alcohol but drank it because my friends did. 💪🏼I need to start the organ pills again…

But the good is I’m going to pack my gym bag and start using the gym at work. Take it easy at first of course. Yeah, I agree, some people can socially drink, but for most of us one is never enough, and we were born into it and surrounded with it, our whole life so we didn’t know any different. It’s funny we used to think people like him not drinking were the outcasts but now we’re the ones not drinking and love how they never drink if that makes sense. 🥰

What's BS is your judgment that he is full of crap which is at tad arrogant and not cool on your part.

Pretty much he’s saying alcohol doesn’t control his life, he can never touch, but maybe once in awhile at a social gathering he’ll have scotch. If only everyone could learn this type of discipline, maybe the world would be healthier.
