The relationship between Ezio and Leonardo is one of the best in the whole Assassins Creed franchise. I love seeing them together.

Leonardo is basically his best friend. Think about everything leonardo have been through with Ezio. Always helping Ezio every where in the first 2 games. Ezio even trusted him with things he's not even allowed to talk to anyone about. That's how you know ezio valued his friendship with him.

This DLC was based on events in 1506, Salai was born in 1480. Younger than Leonardo yes, but hardly a child at 26
This is so high concept. The assassin’s creed games do such a meticulous job honoring historical accuracy as much as they can within the context of the fictional storyline and I’m actually really mad I never got into video games and thought they were mindless entertainment.

You're not missing much story and you could always watch the cutscenes on youtube or read the book.
Actually the first 2nd,3rd and 4th assassin's creed books are pretty fantastic if you're not sure if you want to play the games.

@@victoriakaren2324 Ezio wouldn't have gone there. As he knows it's not for him to discover, and besides, he wouldn't have known what those numbers meant as the coordinate system back then is underdeveloped, he would spend years and years to find the exact location.

Leonardo was his most loyal friend and there was noone Ezio trusted more as he himself has stated. He loved his friend and was happy for him. This just goes to remind us what a rare good person Ezio was.

Sadly, Leonardo da Vinci was probably one of Ezios only best friends/confidants his entire life until Sofia Sartor. Wish he would've shown up in Revelations....but unfortunately, I believe Leonardo passed away by then.
No Leonardo died in 1519, Revelations takes place in 1511-12.

When I first played the Disappearance DLC, I could tell Salai was gay by how he looked up at Ezio and when asking him "Outside the Kindgom of God, is the realm of men. You worship there, Messere ~?"

I think that there were some scenes that were not available on the XBox 360. I think I know which one you mean and I tried to find it and failed.
did you try after the game if finished and all the content is played? you only get it after game is completely over and everything is played out, end the long ending credits after Desmond stabs Lucy are over, than you can start the game again and it will return you to Rome as Ezio and keep doing stuff there, than you find Leonardo bench and get that scene :) I only found it because I didnt want game to end so I returned to Rome and continued having fun around :)

After you meet Leonardo for the first time, there will be "L" marks on the map for places you can go to talk to him, but I think you won't see those until you complete at least one War Machine mission.

apparently if you're luck to see Leonardo after certain story missions (after killing Cesare's main supporters) he has a bit extra to say. (I'm sad cuz I bought everything too fast and now I don't get to see him much except the short scenes where he says he has nothing else he can think of to make)

I feel bad for Leonardo....Salai..Jean Jacomo, took advantage of Leonardo and ran him dry.
Leonardo was well aware of this, he was his master from a very early age and the bond between them was very strong. It began as a relationship between a master and his apprentice. It is thought that their relationship went sexual, but no matter what, they were like family for eachother. It was definitely tough love, as Gian Giacomo was a difficult teenager, and in fact Salai means «little devil».
Many people count their relationsship as that of a father and a son, but that does not seem to be true. Leonardo later got a relationsship like this with an apprentice when Fransesco Melzi joined, who also inherited most of his estate, much to Salais dismay of course.
Both know what the other was feeling, they both felt wrong about the relationship but they do love each other, it's just that they both felt like the relationship wouldn't work out.
