I've tried tons of netbooks over the years, and right now I have a similar HP Mini that I'm finally planning to keep. It is one of the latest models with a dual core Atom N2600 (4 threads!!) and the Full-HD capable GMA 3600 iGP. I managed to install 4 GB RAM, but due to factory limitation of HP, this machine can only run in 32 bit operation unfortunately, because EM64T instruction set is missing, despite the CPU itself is 64 bit based on Intel's specification. So the system only sees 3 GB this way (still better than 2 tho), and the remaining 1 GB is used by the iGP as shared vram, at least according to dxdiag. This is my first netbook that can actually play 720p livestreams in browser without any issues, so finally I can watch F1 sessions on 10 inches while on the go. :))
Oohh, I'm right now working on a review on another netbook, a HP 2133 Mini-Note. It's not only smaller than the netbook in this video, but the screen looks a lot better and for some reason the VIA C7-M combined with 2GB of DDR2 ram seems to be faster than the hp mini 110. I'm pretty curious how it will perform in daily tasks!
This thing is a beast... I used to watch cartoons on it when I was small in 2011, and after rough use it still survives, it has even dropped many times. Such a durable laptop.
Nice video! I have an HP Mini 110-3018ca. I've upgraded the RAM to 2gb and put in an old hybrid HDD from a newer laptop. I only use it with Lubuntu and for typing up notes. Thankfully running Linux allows RUclips to run 360p on Chromium or Brave.
