Thanks for the cool review!! :-)
Why is the price in the USA so much lower than in most other markets?
Really nice looking watch. It appears that one is getting a pretty good deal on this one as well.
U know how to make a great review! Thanks for the pretty pics!
oh man... i wish they did this new update in the old "outdated" size (both width and height), 'cause this thing is way too big for my skinny wrist :( (and the new one looks much better than the old one :/ )
$1790? I’ve just looked at a website here in the UK and they are £3500 wth?
Alex Murray yeah just checked that too.. Where did they get the price?
That's the price of the watch in the US.
Really that's about 1500euro, double nearly here in Europe... Why the difference I wonder? Through what dealer?
These are prices from Watchbuys who is NorthAmerica distributor and are distributordirect pricing. It is on their website
Just checked watchbuys yep that's the price they have. Page and Cooper, Jura watches and Fortis themselves are more than 1000 euro more expensive, some wrong there.
I think i might have a pass on Swatch group watches (I have 2 Tissots and a Swatch) this time and root for a Fortis. I want to add a Valjoux 7750 in my collection to sit side by side with a 2824-2 and 2836-2.
Question.. New to the watch game..with having a 12hr chrono sub dial, does that mean you can run the chronograph continuously for up to 12hrs? I ask because some Speedmasters do.
it can run as long as it is worn... so yes 12 hours included, after that it starts over again. I have a certina with only 30 minutes but I let it to see if I need to time 40-50 minutes, things like that
Gorgeous!
I need this watch to go with my other space watches, the Omega Speedmaster and Fortis B-42. My only major concern with this watch is how the caseback bulges and prevents the watch from hugging the wrist, as show in your videos. I have a boney 7" wrist.
Love @ first sight 4 me. Thank you
i just purchase my Amadee 18 version of this B-42
Is it Cosmonautis , with an I, as you wrote it out in your video title, or Cosmonauts (without an I), as it appears to be written above the subdial at six o'clock? Beautiful dial, imho.
We've seen it both ways. Probably fine either way.
The price listed in the vid is wrong. In The Netherlands the price is around € 3.500,-.
It's correct. That's the price of the watch in the US as sold through WatchBuys.
I literally love everything about this watch except the lack of screw down crown. That just makes no sense to me whatsoever, as stated in the review. Otherwise, it could be a fantastic ‘one watch’ type of piece. Hmm.
I think it's because it would be easier to wind, in case the rotor isn't spinning in space.
Not to needlessly nitpick, but it's Cosmonauts (no "i" near the end). Nice video, love my PM version :)
Fortis calls the collection Cosmonautis, so it can go either way. Thanks! The PM is very nice!
fortis bankrupt
Not really, they filed for dept protection and hopefully continues their business for years to come. They recently did some major website update as well.
Now I just hope Fortis adjust their pricing so the European price point is similar to the much better American price. The difference is just silly.
