- This PS1 has changed everything for me! I got a region free PS1 and an OSSC which wonderfully upscales original hardware. I'm very happy with it!
I wanted to make some videos that harken back to the old days of youtube with not edits, fast cuts etc for retention. Just good old fashioned talking about my hobby.
Shout out to The Affro Show - • The Sony PlayStation O...
I realise that I probably haven't showed off the best of what the OSSC can do (I couldn't find the right setting on my TV) so I'll probably do a follow up video focusing on the games and how they look
I hope one day that you find someone that looks at you the way I do my PS1!
Thanks for joining me on my retro gaming journey
That's Phil Cornell doing the Michael Caine voice in The Italian Job, the same guy who played him in the BBC 2 comedy Stella Street.
Authenticity and Accuracy are the main reasons I still play on Original Hardware (or FPGA which is the next best thing in a lot of cases).
I have a NTSC U/C PlayStation and 50 games and I love it! I had a PlayStation classic and I ordered a USB stick but some of the games didn’t work and I had wanted a OG PlayStation ever since I was 14 years old. I had a N64 but I got bored with it. I was given a free PS1 with a GameShark disc and I built up a library of games before I knew it I had 50 games! I love my PlayStation, way better than my N64.
I've had a RetroTink 4K for the last few weeks. Despite it costing me almost 800 quid, it really is the perfect bit of gear to play & record retro consoles. It has every input you could ever want, and it spits out HDMI, and has all the CRT and upscaling nonsense too. I've got a ridiculous setup with multiple consoles, switches and capture cards and it works flawlessly with everything.
WOW! That PS1 intro brings back memories, it looks great , I would love to see this on N64
Do you know who stole your PS1 and games? You should tell us that story
Dudeeee The Italian Job was my childhood! Loved playing that game!
Great video!!! Love this video and your personality, wishing you the best for the future.❤
I keep getting these random ass video suggestions on my feed for some reason
have you tried the scanline mode yet? You can turn them on and off, and change the intensity. If they dont look right you can change between 1x, 2x, 3x scaling etc

Love the format of your video because of its authenticity. You've got some fine pieces of hardware there as well especially that region free PS1. I'm jealous because I've recently got a bit overboard with the fomo and put myself in a spot purchasing xbox 360 titles. Got some deals and others well.. got carried away.
It is Tatooine.
i just watched to the end i should of waited before mentioning the steam deck in my other comment haha, good video it was a fun watch and your right its very og youtube and i loved that
I use the m- classic when i use retro consoles on HD tv, but you can't beat RGB Scart input to a CRT tv. That's how i play my PS1, Saturn, 3DO, N64- using the official Nintendo S-Video scart lead which I've had from release.

This was a really nice video & I do miss the old way of making a RUclips video! We must bring it back!
it takes a bit of work but if you wanted a portable gaming system you can get handhelds powered by android that you can run basically every emulator on up to Xbox 360, the steam deck is a good option also cause you have all the steam library and it can even run emulators up to (and maybe past) the switch
I lament getting a monitor for my gaming as anything pre-HD cannot be connected.
