'Freedom To Sing' was recorded & filmed LIVE at Illuminati Superclub in Tauranga during NZ Music Month in May 2011. This song is about Tiki's experiences, from his controversial arrest by Tauranga Police in April 2011. Tiki was handcuffed, arrested & detained in jail for singing NWAs "F@#k Da Police" during his R18 concert at Illuminati, and was charged with "inciting violence." The charge was later dropped & the Police admitted there was a "misunderstanding".

I have been hand cuffed and send to jail for playing music and yr song this one was played in court. Our council put an injunction not to play music that could be heard outside at any time of day or night.

Remember Tiki never wrote "F@#K Da Police", he only sings the song at his private R18 concert in which adults only are in attendance. He was arrested because a Police Officer was offended. Have you heard his "Starship Lullaby" song which he wrote for Starship Childrens Hospital.? All proceeds from the download go to Starship. All the best.
