This was excellent. Thank you so much. The directions that came with the setup were not so good. I followed your video, step by step on my 2020 silverado and it worked out great. Can't thank you enough!
Hi..have any guidelines how to align the end of the cover(by tailgate) before tightening the bolts in front? Any advice or cures to this cover leaking? I just installed a replacement cover sent by BAK and it also leaks badly. I wouldn't dare have carpet bed liner like you show in this as it would be a soggy mess.. Thank you !
Looking to install on a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali with Crew cab. On the drain tube, do you just stick it around 1" inside the hole on the side? Any issue with the water running inside the cavity there?
Temperatures are around 20° right now where I live. Do I have to worry about the bulkhead weatherstripping not sticking because of the cold temperatures?
Hey Ras, these instructions are similar to what you would expect on the Chevy Colorado, but they’re not exactly the same. You can use the video to follow along with your instruction sheet. Hope that helps!
How well does this cover work with the 2020 GMC Sierra multipro power tailgate when using the remote? Some covers hold the tailgate back so it has to be pulled open.
I have putco bed rails already. Would this or any other tonneau cover work along with bed rails? I'm pretty sure where you have that drain is being used with bolts for the bed rails.
Hey David, you are correct! That hole is used by Putco to install their rails, so as an alternative, you could use the oval-shaped hole on the bulkhead. It also has a plastic plug in it. Hope that helps!
@@Realtruck Thanks. I guess my main concern would be that the base of the bed rails would interfere/be in the way of the tonneau cover. i haven't seen many pictures of trucks with both. So I'm trying to figure out which would work for me. any help is appreciated.
Hey Rich, the LoMax is also a great cover, but one major difference is that the BakFlip can fold all the against the cab for full bed access without removing the cover. The LoMax has to be removed for full open bed access, and that's easy to do, but you have to figure out where to store the cover in the meantime. Hope this helps!
I just installed mine took about 20 mins but I wish I watched your vid first, I didn't smack down the bed when tightening the clamps
I truly thank you guys for this, I was intimidated initially but your clear and concise instructions made this an easy task. 👍🏿
Kind of a quick ending but great install video hopefully it don’t leak

Just installed one on my 2023 silverado, this video helped me a ton!
You guys didn’t show the stands to hold the cover up when folded all the way? Does that not require any installation?
What us the difference in the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 6ft6 new body style and old body style? When coming to the bakflip mx4?
THANK YOU!!! this was a very well done video and my install when very smooth because of it.
