    I love the mixed use of sublimation and laser. Adding color to a laser project and not needing to paint or stain.

    Also I don’t think you mentioned it but tri layer acrylics are awesome. If you don’t have a sublimation printer the tri layer looks great! Especially for school colors.

    Great video! Quick question, which heat press do you use for these items?

    Great video, you have a new subscriber. Can all of the Rowmark material be used with diode only lasers?

    • @LaserEverything
      @LaserEverything  Месяц назад

      You may struggle with some of the brightest colors but for the most part they should be perfectly usable. Just remember diode lasers have a much smaller dot size than the average laser so you'll need a high line interval to avoid scan lines in your results.

      @@LaserEverything Even the black galaxy? (I wish you would say which laser will work on which material.)

    • @LaserEverything
      @LaserEverything  29 дней назад

      Should do OK with the black galaxy. I haven't tested them all on every laser there's hundreds of romark styles so I don't wanna commit to an answer but I would be surprised if you ran into any major issues. Best thing do is order some 16th in hobby for a few sheets you're interested in and try it out.

    Hey buddy, i am looking for a laser engraver for my fashion jewellery business, i wanna engrave on alloy, stainless steel, brass amd silver , is DAJA DJ6 a good choice?

    • @LaserEverything
      @LaserEverything  Месяц назад

      No, that looks to be a diode laser which isn't going to engrave metals. It might mark the surface of stainless really slowly, but wont really engrave. You'll want an actual fiber laser.

    Can you cut the Romark sheet with diode lasers?

    • @LaserEverything
      @LaserEverything  Месяц назад +1

      yes you can! You just need to make sure that your line distance is nice and tight because you have a much smaller dot size compared to when you use a co2 laser. But definitely possible with some practice and getting the settings down for your machine.

    I love the channel but your getting off track with all the sublimation. I've noticed many channels not just this one moving to other markets (embroidery, sublimation, and such) I have all those toys but video title say engraving blanks not a word of sublimation. Disappointed in the direction of this video vs title

      Hey Michael, Matt from the video here. Any of the sublimation blanks that were mentioned could be laser engraved or combined with rowmark and some adhesive to apply a label, a small name plate, or add depth and layers with rowmark etc. Alex may have edited that part out from my explanation as originally we had 90 minutes of footage but any of them can be used together to enhance it with laser engraving/engraved products. Hope that clears it up for you and that the laser blanks help your business.

    • @LaserEverything
      @LaserEverything  Месяц назад +1

      Just did a final count. Of the 20 products listed in this video 14 of them are explicitly designed to be laser cut or engraved. Another 4 of the 20 are not explicit but easily engravable with good results. Only 2 items, one of which is the sublimation printer itself, is unable to processed with a laser. Sorry you feel this way though Michael, there's always a lot more engraving content coming and you're sure to see some soon!

      So I chose items that you can sell a couple hundred at a time with a profit of 10-15 per item. When multiple schools or organizations buy these that adds up pretty quickly.
      Low overhead, not having to hold overstock, and 3x the cost in profit per item x hundreds of items has been pretty profitable for me at my shop.
      What did you have in mind that you would we could make a video about for people? What lasers do you have so I can help you make more?
