We travelled in Japan for 3 weeks in March. Since it was our first visit ever, we stayed in many popular tourist places, but I'm happy we decided to visit Kanazawa as well! It was our absolute favourite! Kenroku-en and Higashi Chaya were stunning! The city is really beautiful and calm. After wild crowds of Kyoto it was a fantastic experience, I'd love to visit again :)

My son and I will be traveling to Japan for 30 days in May. We we're gonna spend most of that in Tokyo, but we have decided to only spend a week in Tokyo and explore Japan from North to South. From Amori to Hiroshima. We're definitely gonna add a few stops on the East Coast in areas not heavily traveled. I look so forward in visiting Kanazawa for a couple of days.

Consider getting either the 14-days or 21-days JR pass. My wife and I always get one or the other.

@@nateshf9303 I'm getting a 21 day pass in lieu of being unable to secure SUICA cards. 7 or 8 days in Tokyo on local passes and then getting the JR Pass for the top to bottom Japan by rail for the next 20 days essentially backpacking, ride, sleep and repeat from town to town.

Definitely adding these places to trip itinerary ideas, they looked fun! I think my son would really love the gold leaf craft place. The plates at Crafeat looked so beautiful. Thanks for the cool video :)

My wife and I kept our hotel reservations for Kanazawa and Unazukionsen one week after the big earthquake to support their economy.

A web media in Japan conducted a survey based on the Japan Meteorological Agency's database from 1921 to 2021, regarding earthquakes with a seismic intensity of 5 or higher by prefecture. The survey found that the fewest occurrences were in Toyama and Gifu Prefectures. followed by Fukuoka, Saga, Kagawa, Osaka, and Aichi Prefectures with three each.
