This was so satisfying to watch ..The pancake looked more like a souffle to me, so light and fluffy and the gold leaf tacoyaki was a sheer delight to see being prepared - and eaten. Then that mouthwatering curry with its rich glossy sauce.. The plates themselves brought a level of sophistication we would never expect in the west…I just adored this episode…One of your finest, Solo…I can’t wait for Kyoto…👌🤗🌸!!

This was a delight - my only wish is that I could have eaten right along with you! The pancakes are so different from ours. The texture looks more like soufflé, rather than the cake-like interior of American pancakes. I could think of all kinds of things I'd love to try topping them with! The takoyaki looked intriguing. I've seen desserts topped with gold leaf before, but never something savory like octopus balls. The curry was so delicious looking, and sushi for breakfast sounds like a treat to me! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us - it always makes my day.
