I 100% agree that the number one thing to do in Kanazawa is the Kenrokuen Gardens. We visited them when we were in Japan last September and it was beautiful. Like no other garden I have ever visited before.
Did you stay in Kanazawa or made a day trip only?
Kanazawa my favourite Japanese city. Been there twice 1996 and 2023
I can also just recommend to stay at the railway station for a few minutes, before rushing to one of the main attractions. It is probably one of the most beautiful station in all of Japan!
I love Kanazawa! I'm going back in april and I can't wait. The garden is fabulous and not to be missed. I would add the contemporary art museum, which is really interesting, to the list of 'must see'.
I'm spending there a day in late may, this video, like many others in this channel, is an inspiration.
Thank you for it!
Thank you for the nice comment!
Thank you for this video, will go there later during long holiday when winter's over.
Peace rom Tochigi
Been twice in Kanazawa, amazing place
I’d like to see this place with my own eyes ❤ Thank you so much for this wonderful walking ☺️
You're welcome! Thank you very much for the nice comment!
I've always love your entrance video
Thank you very much!
I'll be there in April!
Beautiful Video indeed, thanks for sharing 🛩💯⚡
Thank you for the nice comment! Glad you enjoyed it :)

kaga onsen town (kagari kisshotei) is our go to, worth a visit
We just stayed there few weeks ago, highly recommend, and Mitsui Garden Hotel in Kanazawa has a great roof top sento and very conveniently located.
Did you stay in a ryokan? Any recommendation?
@@ednasalinas5975 yes. we always go yearly to kagari kisshotei for 4 yrs now. we will comeback this feb winter
traveling from Nagano to Fukui. Probably will stop there for a couple hours as well
My best friend, thanks to you, I enjoyed watching... I'm proud of you for developing day by day.
Thank you so much for watching!
I'm coming back to Japan this April! Can't wait to see new places I haven't seen yet 😍
Hope you will have a great trip!
I might be going there late January. How snowy do you think it'd be
Planning to visit Kanazawa this coming 2024...any idea on the estimated date of Cherry Blossom in Kanazawa area? Thanks
One of my most favourite cities in Japan along side Hiroshima, due to the less population density and great seafood. Oh, well because of Shirakawa-go as well :)
I love Shirakawa go too!
Thank you, definitely adding Kanazawa to my list to visit! The garden is beautiful
We hope you will enjoy Kenrokuen Garden when you get to visit Karuizawa!
The City of Gold, but the video did not include a visit to the gold leafing places, which are most interesting.
For people reading this, there are some shops exhibiting gold leaf products at the Higashi Chaya district. I also visited a place where they made the gold leaf nearby. Do ask any of the tour volunteers serving visitors along the streets. Although they might only converse in Japanese, they might have leaflets in other languages.
I will go in November, which high speed train should I take from Tokyo? Thanks
Nice, hope you will have a great time there!

I wish the government will rebuild a new castle in Kanazawa like they did in Osaka and other places .
