Truly a unique voice. Not only did she have a soprano high end that could cut through the densest fog like a knife, she also possessed a very resonate Low end. Listen to her sing "Boots of Spanish Leather" or "Sad Eyed Lady of the Low Lands" She not only hits those near contralto notes she makes an impression with them.

Today Celion Dion (Canadian,) Sissel Krkjebo (Norwegian,) and Patricia Janeckova (Slovakian) are three angels singing to light up our lives. Can’t think of any good American singers now - most perform acrobatics and seem to have a 5 note range.

A unique blend of tremolo and vibratto, her crystal- clear soprano soars above most others- but with a warm and cozy feel. Notiice how her guitar playing is different, and appropriate to each song.
