One of the BEST movies I've EVER seen!!! Full of stars. Morals, ethics, principals, values, it has it all. I don't think Hellywood could do that NOW! WORTH YOUR TIME!
    ❤👍😁 Thank you!

Great film.........Durante is great, Cagney looks so much like his brother you would think they were twins. These old films are a treasure because they were made before honesty and naivete were lost.

Thank you for bringing us one of the old great films of the ‘30s. Excellent acting and all star cast. Was a surprise to see William Cagney and to learn that he was James’ younger brother, and that he was a very successful film producer. This is is the first film that I encountered William in. What a great family resemblance between him and Janes. Thank you again.

William Cagney was about six years younger than brother James, but he was an absolute dead ringer for him. He died in 1988.

Thanks Linda. Amazing stuff you're putting up. I learned something here. I did not know that James Cagney had a younger actor/look-alike brother.

It does seem like an unlikely choice. I'm guessing it must have come down to him or Kay Francis.

Geez, Louise. I'm done watching. Commercial every 2 minutes. I don't mind some commercials but 27 minutes in and I can't tell you what any of the movie sequence is about. There's been at least 8-10 commercials.

7:25 32 cents a dozen? Holy fuck, those are some really, REALLY expensive eggs... it would be about 6.20$ in today's money. I found a dozen eggs for 1 dollar a dozen or 3 at the best... I guess intensive chicken farming wasn't a thing yet at the time.
