    Hi Kat
We bought one of these seats a few weeks ago and our baby’s head slumps forward when sleeping. Has this been reported as an issue? Is there anything that can be done to solve it? Our baby is nearly 10 months old so head insert part has been removed.
    Thanks in advance

      Hi,
It can happen depending on vehicle, harness use and insert use. If you can send a picture of baby in the seat strapped in, and also a picture of the seat fitted in the car from side on (so the base interaction with the vehicle seat is visible) plus the make, model and year of the car the seat is in, to customerservice@silvercrossbaby.com
Please rest assured it isn't dangerous as long as the harness is used correctly and it's just their head lolling while sleeping, although I appreciate it doesn't look comfortable!

Thanks Kat. I will get that sent over tomorrow. I’ve also filled in the contact form on the website.
It doesn’t look at all comfortable and just need the reassurance that this is safe still

Hi, I just brought this and took all the newborn stages off , my 12 month fits perfect however when she is asleep her head is dropping forward which I get very worried incase of breathing!! I mean I’ve had to stop driving to try push her head and tighten the seat belt more however her head still flops down!! Any suggestions? Am I doing something wrong or did I take something off that I shouldn’t? I took the head, two sides and the seat off (all newborn) as she looked to high with it and she is a very chubby baby it’s just the head I am concerned

You’ll see that I commented exactly the same concern above. Please contact silvercross directly asap as they sent me another suggested use of the back wedge, putting it under the flap at the back. It did take them several days to send me the instructions but once I did as they suggested, it solved the problem and our baby looks very comfy now when asleep.
I don’t know why silvercross don’t make the information known when purchasing the seat, with support printed in the box.
Unfortunately I can’t attach an image here otherwise I’d have just forwarded it to you.
      Hope this helps

      Hi,
If you use just the wedge part and put it under the patterned back panel, it will add to the recline angle and should resolve the head flop 😊 if you email the customer service team, they can send you some pictures to demonstrate. You may need to raise the headrest to accommodate the wedge to give enough room for baby
