Thanks for that appreciate it got a new born on the way very soon and have not used the insert for a few years!! This guide has helped me to confidently use the insert as it should be and love the addition of using the new born doll to demonstrate!! Thanks again!!
Great video, very helpful. Though my car seat still has a bit of movement when I shake it. Doesn't seem the most sturdy? The isofix is connected so it's not going anywhere, just wobbly...
You say at 1:31 that the gap between the seat needs to be closed when installing the car seat isofix connectors. What if a toddler is tall enough and needs more space? Can I adjust the isofix connectors to get some more space for his legs? Thanks for the video!
Hi, The base of the seat needs to touch the car’s back rest. This is this car seat’s built in rebound protection, it prevents the seat tipping forward in the rebound phase of a crash. Leaving a gap takes this protection away, so the gap must always be closed. Children don’t need as much legroom as you might think. They can comfortably and safely sit with their legs bent or crossed.
No, not in this seat. Car seats all have rebound protection to stop them from tipping over in the rebound phas of a crash. Some have a bar/brace, some have tether straps. The Joie i-Spin 360 has its rebound protection built into the seat, which has to touch the car's backrest at all times.
We have a 4 month-old baby. We've used the Joie i-snug 2 up until now but we think she's ready for this car seat. However, when we put her in, she seems really tight and snug with the head insert so we've removed it. But the straps around the hips and the seat belt attachment seem really low down and don't go well around her waist. We don't understand what we are doing wrong. Surely she can't just have the wedge?
Hi, It sounds like she may be sitting too low down in the seat. At four months she definitely still needs the body insert, so just try sitting her a little higher up, and always make sure that the straps are level with her shoulders.
Brilliant video! Really thoroughly done. Thank you for taking the effort and time to share this with us! In your opinion do you think £80 difference in price is worth getting the new model i-Spin 360 model over the old model Spin 360?
Hi, Yes I do. The i-Spin's inserts are easier to use, a lot of people struggle with the Spin's wedge in particular. The i-Spin also reclines a bit more, has the swivel lock release lever in a much easier to reach position, and meets the latest regulation so has additional side impact protection and a lock that prevents forward facing. And thank you for the feedback, I'm glad you liked my video. :)
Much more straightforward to follow than Joies own video - thank you ❤
You're very welcome!

Thank you so much, I'm glad I was able to help you. :)
Great job explaining. This video is much better than the factory pamphlet
Thank you so much!
One of the best explanations of a car seat set-up I've seen. Thank you!
Thank you so much! That’s very kind of you.
This video was really helpful, better explained than official video and instructions we got with the car seat. 😊
Thank you so much.
Wish I'd seen this when first got the seat, really good video thanks.
Thank you so much.
Perfect video. So much better than anything else on yotube for this model.
Thank you so much!
Hi thanks for this video it's great! I've noticed that my newborns head tips forward even when the seat is fully reclined. Any tips? 😊
much better video than that which the manufacturers swam capable of.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this video! I just got a joie I spin and didn’t know where to start, now feel like a pro 😊
That’s brilliant, thank you!
Very helpful and informative video exactly what I was looking for
Thanks so much! Perfect timing. I bought the inserts separately for our second child had a hard time fitting them in the car seat.
You are very welcome!
this video has been extremely useful and detailed! thank you very much for all the great information! all the best!
Thank you so much!
Great video, very helpful. Though my car seat still has a bit of movement when I shake it. Doesn't seem the most sturdy? The isofix is connected so it's not going anywhere, just wobbly...
That’s normal. The base should be solid, but the seat will move slightly on the base. This movement helps to absorb crash energy.
Very helpful video!!!
Thank you!
My 2.5 year old takes his arms out of the shoulder straps how can I prevent it ?

@ I see. Thanks for your reply!
Does this seat and other i spin 360 models need to be strapped in using the car’s seatbelt? Or just purely Isofix? Thanks
Just ISOfix, swivel seats don't use the seat belt.
Is there a way to keep the seat rearfacing but move the seat back so theres more leg room?
No, not in this seat. Car seats all have rebound protection to stop them from tipping over in the rebound phas of a crash. Some have a bar/brace, some have tether straps. The Joie i-Spin 360 has its rebound protection built into the seat, which has to touch the car's backrest at all times.

Super explanation thank you
Thank you!
Fantastic content, thanks!
Thank you so much!
Does the seat detach from the base?
Hi,
I’m afraid that the i-Spin 360 is an all-in-one seat, the base is built in.
Could I know this model approval number? the number on the stiker on the floor
