Fail videos can be just as interesting as the success ones. We can't always produce the magic every time and it's refreshing to see honest accounts of things. Our heroes are human after all !!!!
I enjoy your videos, definitely relatable showing the ups and downs - and I'm sure the ups again. Saw the Good Omens episode last night and then checked in today on RUclips to see your new video. After commenting on your sub 20 5K video back in December I've still not managed the sub 20, but I'm a lot closer than I was (20:50 with some walking) - cheers for the motivation.
aw thank you so much! Also thank you for checking out Good Omens! These days it's all about the numbers. Very well done on the 20:50 - you see I couldn't run that at the moment! You're smashing it x
😢you get into park run training I been doing park run for over 4 years I Be running for 5 years best thing ever did its a a mazing feeling good luck with your training
199 bpm ! Blimey. The last time my heart rate was that high, was when Shakin’ Stevens came to my primary school to open the new swimming pool. I usually put on a lb. or 12 when I lay off running for a while and a few weeks of penance rations, helps a lot I find. These film catering vans must be very tempting.
haha well yes I haven't been eating very healthily and I do find it hard to resist eating as much as I can on set, cooked breakfast and cooked lunch, and they also make the mistake of leaving snacks near the tea making facilities, and I have zero willpower! x
Glad to see you making videos again Rich. I'm sure you'll be back on it timewise soon, the 5k there was probably more than a bit responsible for the HR issues. All the best
thank you! I just need to get back into some consistency I think, but yes the actual race was wet and slippery too, and I'd tired myself out on the run there probably x
@@TheRichKeebleOh my gosh I’m a bit starstruck! 😅 I’ve never played Strange Brigade before but my god You are amazing as Frank! I know that they’re fictional characters but Frank and Karl are characters I just wanna hug for a few hours.
The warm conditions and humidity probably caught you out, coupled with the inconsistent training of the past few weeks. I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you can get some consistent training in for the next few months, I would expect you to be in and around the 20 minute mark come Autumn.
It might have been the salt balance being off, that might explain the elevated heart rate. If the other training sessions in the week have been fine, this is likely the cause. I wouldn't put too much in to it. Take this as a "throwout" session to be thrown in the bin. Some speedwork and you probably be right on track for that sub 20min 5k.

This is it! And I've failed a lot of times, at a lot of things x
Great sound from cupboard cam. Always nice to see the queen catching up with Rich Keeble Here

I should’ve tweaked the edit at the start of this but never mind
😂 love it, random spontaneous laughter to start
@@GregK2 ha thank you. Well it was technically a mistake but maybe I’ll pretend it wasn’t x

I ran Nonsuch this morning too and to be fair it wasn’t really conducive to good running given the conditions… I had to wring my shirt out at the end!
Me too, there was torrential rain just after the start, I couldn't see a thing through my glasses. My worst time for a couple of months.
Yes I kind of forgot that it was so wet! I nearly properly ended up on my arse a couple of times too with that mud! x
ha yes I forgot about that as well - my glasses were a nightmare! Ended up with sore nipples too due to the wet top x

The sound effect for the 25:50 result alone is worth a like
Thank you. I try and make these multi layered x
Happy you're making vids again Rich. Sometimes the HR goes a bit wonky just before getting the flu etc. 🤞
Thank you! Yes, good point. I might be a little run down and underslept too... but perhaps I should get some vitamins in me! x
Glad the vids are back!
Thank you! Let's see if I can keep it up! x
Speaking of parkrun fails, you capitalised the “P” mate… ;-) x
I'll delete the entire channel immediately x
I recognise you! Your Frank Fairburne from Strange Brigade aren’t you?!
haha yes! Well spotted x

Yes I think you're right about the conditions as well, but yes this week I'm looking at getting the consistency back so fingers crossed! Thank you x
How else can I get his heart rate to 190 muses the wife. Every cloud..

thank you - yes it's been a funny few weeks so I'm not dwelling on it too much. Interesting point on the salt... I'll look into that! x
I’m subscribed Rich, let your wife know!
Wonderful! I'll pass that on, thank you! x
