    🎶 More about us:
Foot Notes A Cappella are an auditioned, mixed-voice ensemble from Durham University who focus on stretching the limits of unaccompanied voices, performing a large range of genres and styles. Founded in 2018, Foot Notes have had a rapid rise to success, staging highly acclaimed termly concerts in stunning venues around Durham, taking shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2022 and 2024, and performing at many external events including Music Durham’s Cathedral Concert, balls, formals, charity events and even weddings!
We pride ourselves in our vocal versatility, singing all manner of songs including beautiful choral pieces, jazz classics, and chart-topping pop bops. Over the university year we build a close-knit and collaborative choir and cover a large and diverse repertoire to keep our members on their toes. Not only do we strive to produce a beautiful sound, but we also strive to have a great time along the way. Foot Notes is an outgoing group who get along both inside and outside of the rehearsal room, enjoying regular socials of all nature.
