Could you keep a single in a dwarf cichlid community or are they best in pairs?
Hi Andreas, you can keep a single one - if you have a pair in a general community tank, if they start breeding they can cause havoc, just like all cichlids.

What are the smaller spotted fish?
If it’s the fish I think you mean, it’s an Amitilania altoflava, I put up a shorts video on them last weekend.
Mine haven't coloured up, 3 inches
