- Aquarium Rainbow cichlid care is pretty easy as long as you setup your tank correctly. These cichlids are pretty laid back and can have a wide variety of tank mates with them. They do try to constantly breed though, which can cause some unwanted aggression in the aquarium at times.

Question, I need to move my 210 gallon fish tank (330 lbs) out of my basement as my wife and I are moving. I have asked for help however no one is able to.. Has anyone moved a large fish tank by themselves..I was thinking of getting my 4 wheeler and using the winch to slowly pull it up the steps but not sure. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Have not had to do this, but I think laying plywood down on the stairs and using the winch would be your best bet. Use a strap around the tank and guide it up as the winch does the heavy work.
Hire movers. That’s how we got our 220 out of the sellers house and into Ours. Ended up getting their personal cell numbers and call them whenever we need a hand.
Just thanking how about getting some wood make a ramp put the tank on a dollie with two or three pulling with a rope and two in the back pushing up that my help.
We are trying however most companies need lead time and we are moving our stuff out this weekend (as we weren't excepting people to bail out on us).

U hittin every species of fish with a care guide? #goals 🤩🤩🤩
Funny story, I went to my local fish store and bought a Macaw (Nicaraguense) Cichlid. After months of having it I noticed that it wasn’t growing at all and it would change colors very drastically. I thought it was my water parameters or tank size. These guys typically grow at around 8-10 inches. I did my research and turns out the owner had accidentally mixed rainbow cichlids with the macaws😂🙏🏼 mine is about 2-3inches. I guess it’s almost full grown at this point. I love that fish though, extremely peaceful gets along with any fish. I have it in a 29gal grow out tank with Colombian tetras and a few other juvenile South American cichlids.
He was very timid and skittish when I bought him. He wouldn’t eat much and hide all the time. I would say introducing them into a heavily planted tank with lots of hiding places is best.
When I got him he would freak out whenever the lights turned on. He started swimming frantically and got really banged up so I had to remove all the sharper rocks from the tank. Now he’s doing ok.
I introduced a platinum parrot and a severum into the tank and he seemed to be more confident.
Swims all over the tank and greets me whenever I walk by. Awesome fish very easy to take care of, would recommend it to anyone!

I have had a fully grown male rainbow cichlid for almost a year and it's the most aggressive fish I have ever owned by a huge margin. I have a convict and a Jewel cichlid and they are mild mannered compared to my rainbow who has bitten me at least a dozen times and has tried to bite me about five times as often as that. My other little rainbow is much more subdued, but the big guy behaves very much like you're expect a pirhana to behave. Love these videos.

I have a pair that are very prolific. When they spawn EVERY BIG fish is made to go to the other end of the 75 gal, and stay. The dad puts mom out after spawning and raises the fry. I probably have 100 six month old fry now. They are sweet fish and have tons of personality.

I have one female rainbow cichlid. She gets along with everyone in my community. I want to get more and transfer them all into a new planted 75 gallon set up...BUT do Rainbow cichlids eat Italian jungle val?

Frozen is better then freeze dried. More nutritious

No dont have it in a 20 gallon. I would say Minimum 45 gallons
