Good morning, Martin (well, it's morning here, about 02:30 AM). As always I very much enjoy your sketchbook tours It's utterly fascinating - and, honestly, a little daunting😅 - to see how your imagination wanders in your world. That said, you touched here again on your "dark cities" as well as your people drawings. A couple weeks ago you posted two Shorts hinting at a coming people drawing tutorial. Just wondering, is that still in the works? Very much hope so. And any thoughts on a possible "dark cities" tutorial? Or at least a full length video of you putting one of your cities together? Sorry for such a long comment, I just like your work a lot! Thank you!
First of all thank you very much for your kind and really helpful feedback! 👍 I am still working on a longer tutorial about people drawing in an individual and expressive way. And, that’s the more easier topic for me to record, I will do a video how to plan and construct my cityscapes! Thanks again and best wishes from austria, Martin
What a *fantastic film* of your sketchbook. Seeing your fabulous *original artwork* and *original sketches* made/ based on *real life* on people/ architecture etc Brilliant. Keep making more original artwork and please keep sharing more videos on drawing. Many thanks Stay happy (everyone)
Greetings Martin! I have received my order of the two sketchbooks and love the cover and pages. However, the covers have a strong perfume-like smell. It's not unpleasant, per se, just strong. Did yours have that smell when you got them? I would like to know and if yours do, then I assume it's normal and hopefully nothing to be concerned about. But if yours have no smell at all, then I will need to replace my order. TY!
@@MartinLachmairArt Hi, is that right? This smell is coming from the cover itself, not the ink printed on the cover or the pages inside, so I'm not sure what it is. Since yours doesn't have that smell, I may return these for a replacement. THANK YOU for letting me know! 🙂☮
@@MartinLachmairArt You're welcome! I just found your channel tonight and love your work. Thank you, yes, right after I posted that question, I watched another video of yours and saw that you posted a link to the books, so I think I will order them! May I ask another question: About how much time do you spend sketching each day? I'm always curious to know that about artists who have so many drawings and fill up sketchbooks. Thank you!
@@MartinLachmairArt You do? That's amazing! I am trying to dedicate far more time to sketching/painting than I do now, but I get distracted by other things too often, so I need to figure this out. Thank you!
Beautiful works Martin. You're a very Talented Artist. 👍
Amazing skill and art.
Thank you so much!

@@MartinLachmairArt We will be waiting . Thank you so much Martin 😊👍👍 Cheers from AUSTRAILA 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
I love your style, and the random cameo pics. The whole book is a work of art, much more interesting than one picture on the wall.
Thank you so much for your kind and motivating feedback!
@@MartinLachmairArt You're welcome, and I meant it, seriously.

Hi, I did not recognise any special smell, just that “normal” paper like one 😀👍

Thank you so much I don’t use markers only ink and Diluted, ink and watercolour paints from different brands
