Heyyy! ✨ I am so happy y’all seem to enjoy this video!! 💕 I’m probably repeating myself but it really means the world! I spent sooo much time editing this so it’s truly making my day to see it do well! 🌞 Not just my day tbh, it’s getting me excited about the future too! The possibility of RUclips helping to make my fulltime artist dream come true is one hell of a great outlook!! 🔥THANK YOU for your support! You rock! (Comment your favourite rock hehe) I’m also still hyped about the collage editing, not as neat as i want it yet but i loove the look, which feels so nice, a bit less lost for once hihi :) Aaand last but not least: I didn’t really dive into art block a lot because i made a whole video about what was going wrong already, soo check that out 🌷it is quite personal but i am proud of it 🧡 ruclips.net/video/7Aea6Pz7qa4/видео.html Grab your sketchbook & go create stuff !!! Much love & big hugs! X joy
Great work! I love non-thematic scketchbooks, where everything goes. It shows both your spontaneous approach and how your art develops over time. Keep going like this!
Thank you so much! I also think it‘s a lot easier to just have one sketchbook and always bring it everywhere, makes it more convenient; which then makes you do more art ✨ and like you said too: having my own progress visible is sooo satisfying hahah ( which is also why i was slightly annoyed that this one wasn‘t quite in order but it’s fiiiineee) i do have some other sketchbooks, bigger ones or some with watercolour paper but in the end i’m always back to my main sketchbook 😂
Ahh i am so into the Photo Collages in between!!! It really takes you along the journey✈️ love the little boats and of course my little kitchen ghost sketch 😜
Aaaaah thaaaaanks!!! This means so much to hear because this is the video i’m the most proud of so far, it felt like finding my own way of editing that feels true to me 🥹✨
uohh i just loveeee those portraits :DD i really enjoyed this sketchbook tour! please NEVER stop posting :)) the vibe you (and your videos) give off are just soooo relaxing and cosy!
Wohooo me tooooo ✨ most times i‘m all over the place so every time i do something neat and focused it’s such a win hahah :D i just got started with making videos and it is such a fun adventure, so i‘ll definitely stayfor a bit heheh
I am surprised at all the traveling you did during this sketchbook tour. And so many lovely drawings! And yes there are always a few pieces that we are unhappy with but others think are great! Always seems to work that way..
You’re right!! what i see is totally different from what everyone else is seeing, I’m definitely my biggest critic but i also don’t mind making things i don’t like ✨ usually the next thing turns out great 😂 Hihi Yes i sure travelled lots last summer! And i cannot wait to start this summer’s travel plans !!! My savings are slowly running out tho, but hopefully some more markets this fall & Christmas will help! :)
Beautiful sketchbook! love the colors and beautiful places in it. I wish I had more opportunities to travel and sketch like you do. btw the collages with sketches is a great idea!
What a beautiful sketchbook! Thank you for sharing! I especially love all of the travel pieces and the footage you got from each place you went. Looking forward to seeing more! ❤
Aaah what a lovely comment!! 🧡 thank you so much!!!! I am really over the moon by everyone enjoying the behind the scenes snippets! I thought it might not be what people want when looking for a sketchbook tour but turns out just doing what i enjoy & what feels right does work best in the end hihi ✨ which is very refreshing! (For a social media platform) 🌞 i’ll be travelling lots this summer so lots of inspiration for sketchbook 14! 👌🏻
@@tschoiy As a fellow artist, this is exactly what a sketchbook should look like. A sketchbook isn't a finished art book, it's a safe place to experiment and make studies. ❤️
I'm soo glad I found you! Literally just found you a few minutes ago and I'm already so in love with your art and vibe! I find it soo lovely and relaxing ❤❤❤
hiiii welcomeee, lot‘s of new people stumbling in with this video somehow ?!! ✨ So happy to hear you like it, I am still quite new to this hahah so it really means a lot ! 💕🌷 Thank you so much for watching!

WTF WOLFWALKER EXHIBITION TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As for the sketchbook, don't you worry about the "ugly" pages bc those messy directionless sketches are just as much part of your sketchbook space as the more inspiring things!!! they reflect oyur mood and your artistic ups and downs, so they're valuable for you to see how you felt back then! and man i wanna kiss all the birds and plants/fungi you drew
I KNOOOW RIIIGHT?!? and i literally stumbled over it?!? There were such beautiful original traditional drawings!!!! So inspiring!!!! Yes yes i’m not worried about the ugly sketches hahaha it was mostly just artblock throwing me off track 😂✨ Thank you so so much for watching !!! 💕
You inspire me so much to start having my sketchbook with me! Sometimes I'm outside and I feel like drawing trees or whatever, but then like “ ill do it once in home” but I never remember to do it hahaha….. And to just create whatever, doesn't need to be perfect. I received recently notice that when I draw faster and just focus on putting what I see on the paper, without thinking so much I have more fun. To see it as experiment and not take it so serious. I loved the graphite sketches in the end too, love that style and medium.
It took me a lot of time to get used to that and i still think “oh i’ll draw this when i’m home” way too often hahaha 😂🫠 fast sketches are the best! I also feel like it shutdown my thoughts and i just focus on the moment! 💕👌🏻 and then usually things turn out better when i don’t overthink hahaha :) ✨ thank you so so much for watching Vanessa
I have tried them before but so far haven’t really been best friends with them unfortunately 🙈 i looove the vibe of them but i think i just draw with too much pressure so they keep breaking on me ! 😂 But i do wanna give them a redemption arc at some point, i just need to purposefully invest time into learning how to use them 🔥 Are they your “go to” art-supply? Have you got any tips hahah ? :)
@@tschoiy I’m kind of in the same place as you. I collected a lot of them, but need to find a way to incorporate them with other supplies. I don’t care for how they perform by themselves on textured paper. I’m thinking I’ll try to use them more for secondary or tertiary layers on top of watercolor or gouache.
That’s a really good idea actually! I think this could work super well! I’ll have to try that too! I usually top off watercolours with colour pencils or fineliners anyways! But this could be a nicely textured option! Idk if you know Beya Rebaï, I really love her work! She makes such beautiful art with neocolor, i can’t quite wrap my head around it (especially cuz i struggle using neocolor a lot hahah)
@@tschoiy I’ll definitely check her out. Are you familiar with the art of James Gurney? He’s got a YT channel. He’s the illustrator of the Dinotopia series of books. He does lots of plein aire painting. He carries a small kit which includes gouache, watercolor, colored pencils and and whatnot. Check him out, he’s addicting!
