So perfect for sketching on location :) i always struggle to actually take time and sketch on location too, this time it was easier bc i have already been there twice so i did zero “tourist stuff” and really ONLY went there to draw! And without other people it’s a lot easier to make time for it too! Overall really just takes some time to get used to, so maybe start small, one sketch a day? And then try to scale up hihi 👌🏻

(Just to help transparent) I have one tiny pencil case that is usually my go to for on the go, it was my moms school pencil case so idk where that’s from. (The one in my fave artsupplies video) This trip i brought my big pencil case bc literally i only sketched so i might aswell bring everything :) the one i have is a bit expensive tbh, i got it ages ago for Christmas, it’s a swiss brand called “freitag” that recycles truck tarps. Actually it’s a toiletry bag hahah but it has great volume and is super sturdy, still looks brand new :) freitag.ch/de_CH/products/accessories/toiletry-bags?srsltid=AfmBOoqxnniWXtJTiEoBwYA0lgYDmMVscB2Y_RYs3jxWxvv1LvOh8MTn However this summer I also bought a cheap roll up pencil case which i have been testing and i really enjoy it too, everything has it’s place and it’s very satisfying to unroll! Thaaanks!! 🧡 I think bc i just casually set up the challenge and it seemed so unrealistic, i didn’t actually think i could make it, which somehow made it happen?! i guess i got rid of the pressure bc i wasn’t expecting to actually do it 😂 but since the first 3 days were so successful it was really easy to keep going for the rest of the trip ✨ what also helped was that i didn’t do anything else, like literally just sketching! That was the only goal 😆 And I barely had any time to sketch for myself the weeks before the trip, so i was craving it so badly 😂 (so nope i also don’t have a proper habit either) usually i don’t do well at all with challenges 😅 Anyways, thank you so so much for watching !!! <3
