Hey friends! Thanks so much for your interest in this subject and, for the most part, for expressing your differences in a respectful way. (Unfortunately, on both sides of the issues, some are too zealous and act divisively, but thankfully, that is the minority.) I did, however, want to address something that's come up in the comments section a few times, namely, why didn't I address Dr. Missler when he was alive? First, to be perfectly candid, I had read some of his work in the past but never saw any of his videos until now, nor did anyone ever ask me to address his teachings on this while he was alive. Second, someone posted this clip on our channel here, suggesting that he raised some good objections to a post-trib rapture, and, since I knew he was a highly respected teacher, I thought he would represent the pre-trib viewpoint well. And so, out of respect for him, I thought this would be a good clip to respond to. Third, because he made his arguments concisely, I made mine concisely, wanting to be fair. I fully understand he could have expanded on each point at length, and obviously, I just co-authored a whole book responding to arguments like this. Fourth, I would be absolutely delighted to have a full-length, moderated, mutually respectful debate with a top pre-trib teacher or scholar. With joy! I live for moments like that and, had Dr. Missler been alive today, I would have been delighted to do the same with him. We'll let you know when such a debate takes place, and for now, we strongly encourage you to get into the contents of our book with an open heart and mind. You might be surprised by what you discover. God bless, and again, I honor and respect those who come to different conclusions based on their prayerful study of the Word. We remain one in Jesus!

I love watching your videos Dr. Brown so informative and biblical. I am a pre- triber, and would love to see a discussion between you, Jack Hibbs, Amir Tsarfati (Behold Israel)i, JD Farag ... all of these are pre-trib teachers with their own RUclips channels and I listen to them frequently regarding end times bible prophecy. Amir just did a very interesting video on the Millenial Kingdom and they have all taught very in depth on the rapture of the church. It is wishful thinking on my end but I'll think it would make for an incredible discussion, absolutely brilliant minds all around. God bless! 🙂

Agree totally. I learned a ton from Missler over the years and am grateful for his teachings. However, as one who does not adhere to a "once saved always saved" theology, I was really let down by Dr. Missler when he called us heretics. It was very late in his life and I hope he wasn't serious.

I also wanted to add the reason why I am pre-trib. For me one of the most significant scripture that I have found is concerning the restrainer in 2 Thessalonians:
Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
      II Thessalonians 2:5‭-‬12 NKJV
My understanding is the restrainer is the Holy Spirit keeping the anti christ from being revealed and according to this verse the restrainer must be taken out of the way for the lawless one to be revealed. The Holy Spirit lives inside Christians so it would make sense that we could no longer be here during this time.
      B. I also understand that people who had the opportunity to become Christian's prior to the anti christ coming but rejected the gospel will not be able to receive salvation during the time of the antichrist or tribulation because they did not love the truth and for this cause God sends a strong delusion that they would believe the lie (wonders and signs he performs) that all will be condemned.
I cannot imagine why Christian's must go through the Great Tribulation, we are the bride of Christ and we have been faithful. I think we still go through tribulations in this world but I believe at the tribulation period it will be for Israel, the Jewish nation to finally accept Christ as their Messiah, this is for them, the church will not be here.
I think that is why the verses in Matthew are so important:
15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’[a] spoken of through the prophet Daniel-let the reader understand- 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak.19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now-and never to be equaled again.
What I ask myself is who is this referencing?
      1. who is concerned about the Holy temple? The Jews, as Christian's we are the temple of God.
      2. How could we see the abomination of desolation in the holy place...to me this indicates technology as only specific people are allowed to enter the temple let those who are in Judea (Jews are in Judea) this seems like it will be an event that is broadcasted while people are literally on their rooftops entertaining.
      3. Who would come down from their roof tops? The Jews in Israel most often utilize their rooftops for living quarters.
      4. Pray your flight is not on the sabbath... who would be mostly concerned about the sabbath.. the Jews, as Christian's we understand Saturday to be the Sabbath but Sunday is the Lord's day in which Christ was resurrected.
For me it is as clear aa day, of course there is so much more that I could go into but these particular scriptures fascinated me the mos. , It doesn't seem like the church will be here during this time.
I am not a theologian, I have never taken bible classes so in n no way am I trying to educate anyone, this is my plain understanding from what I have read 🙂 blessings!
      4.

@@rlb9808 ....i agree with you 100% and listen to the same preachers myself. Dr. Brown didnt answer the population of the millennium kingdom very well in my opinion according to scripture. Jesus said in Matt 13 of the wheat and tares, that when He comes the angels with gather all that offend/tares and cast them into the fire. The wheat will go into the kingdom.
"The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."
      Matthew 13:41‭-‬43 KJV
So if everyone who has the Mark of the Beast when Jesus returns gets cast into fire, then according to Dr. Brown the rest get "raptured/glorified bodies", .........then who can populate the millennium???
Glorified saints wont repopulate according to Jesus in Matt 22:30, we will be as angels.
"For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven."
      Matthew 22:30 KJV
Also.....how can Born Again believers that are SEALED with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption, take the Mark of the Beast and be damned forever?!! No way!!!!
"And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption."

It is clear that that we have to endure until the END! The Tribulation is NOT the end! Even the plagues that fall AFTER the Tribulation isn't the End! First, the sun will be darkened, then the moon will be darkened, then the stars will fall from heaven, then the powers of heaven shall be shaken! Then comes Christ! That's STILL NOT the end! When he comes, we shall see the reward of the wicked (i.e. their death), and then the resurrection of the righteous...
Then at the very end, we shall be raptured!

Ray me too!! I'm not saying ones right or wrong but instead preparing for the latter and not putting a my eggs in the protein basket. I'm trusting that no matter what God will give me the strength to face post if it's the true meaning. But have to say all my life I was taught pre trib theory but it never closed all the loopholes and fit perfectly but the post trib does. I'm reading the Not afraid of the antichrist now. I think it's important to study all views with the word yourself keeping an open mind as you do. Because ultimately you want to be able to tell someone who doesnt agree why you believe or dont. It's like being able to speak with confidence why you believe in God. I think it's important to prepare yourself for post trib to not be caught off guard. I dont believe God will take as a lack of faith but one of preparation and alertness as he has called us to be. If the pre trib rapture happens awesome. But Dr Brown pretty much knocks it out of the park for me. I've begun researching and studying and comparing what I've always been taught so that I can say I believe because I know not because that's the way I was brought up. This involves even challenging what my Dad and my Grandfather who was a preacher taught. It just seems to be a smart and a cautious and responsible way to follow God.

@@robertanoble6433 if it is so clear, then why is there disagreement? Only the most liberal scholars debate the resurrection, virgin birth or miracles. The fact there is so much in the way of disagreement is because at least one side is either misreading the text or reading their own doctrine into the texts rather than letting the texts speak for themselves.

If you believe a word he says without finding out what the Bible really says, you flunk the course. He never asked people to defend his position. Only to look towards scripture for authority.

The 70th week of Daniel is called The Time Of Jacobs Trouble for a reason. All the weeks of Daniel is in relation to Israel and not the Church. Chuck Missler is correct.

    • @TheTurtlee1
      @TheTurtlee1 5 лет назад +8

Israel and the church are one. Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise.
Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy was completely fulfilled nearly 2000 years ago with Jesus' first advent. Daniel told us what the prophecy was for and it was competed. If Jesus did not fulfill it already, then we are yet dead in our sins.
Dan 9:24 "Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place.
Jesus did ALL of that. Furthermore, there is a problem with presupposing a "gap" in the 70 week, it was never stated that there is a gap! And what's more, it declares Messiah is cut off, not son of perdition. Dan 9:26 "Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off..." There is only one Messiah and that is Jesus Christ, or Yeshua Ha Mashiach.

@@TheTurtlee1 We are in the period now where both Jews and Gentiles are part of the Church... but currently as a nation Israel is blinded.
      Luke 19:42
Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
This blindness will happen until the fullness of the Gentiles is complete:
      Romans 11:25
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Once this time period is complete we will then see Daniel 9:27 come into play. In v26 we see the Messiah being cut off(crucified) and then the "p"rince in the last part of the verse is the antichrist. When Christ was still on the earth he mentioned this event that would accur in the future.
      Matthew 24:15
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Clearly Jesus was speaking of Daniel 9:27
      Dan 9:27
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
      And Paul talks about this:
      2 Thes 2:3-4
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Then also read Rev 13 for the fullfillment.

@Cave_4 :YOU - Israel as a nation IS NOT IN THE CHURCH. They are distinct.
ME - That's the truest statement you made. Furthermore, Jesus is not coming back to save the nation state of Israel. He is coming back to redeem the promise of Abraham, which IS Israel proper and includes the "church", which is not some mystical entity separate from the plan of salvation.
Jesus IS Israel. Everyone else is attached to Him, not some nation state set up by the prevailing world government.
Joh 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
Joh 15:6 "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.
Rom 11:16 If the first piece of dough is holy, the lump is also; and if the root is holy, the branches are too.
Rom 11:17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree,
Rom 11:18 do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you.
Rom 11:19 You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in."
      Rom 11:20 Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear;
Rom 11:21 for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either.

First, the tribulation is not the day of the Lord, that happens and then ends, before the sign in the heavens and then the day of the Lord happens, after that. How can the tribulation be the wrath of God, if Jacob is saved out of it? ) Jer 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.( Secondly, it is not all about Jacob’s trouble, as they falsely lead you astray, for Lord Jesus, tells us why, in context and tribulation is about Christians. I hope these people repent, of falling under this delusion, the mystery of iniquity, before it is too late. ) Act 4:12 Neither is there SALVATION in any other: for there is none other NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we MUST BE saved. Mat 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men FOR MY NAME’S SAKE: but he that endureth to the end SHALL BE saved. The day/hour may not be known, but the general time certainly will, or Jesus would have answer their question about "the end of the age" with: You'll be surprised. YOu won't know. It will be unexpected. No, it's unexpected for unbelievers, a thief to them, not to us. The children of light will not be taken by surprise.

If one just sat down with Perry Stone Dr Brown Chuck MIssler (good luck his in heaven lol) and some others. Ask.. is PRE MID POST anywhere in the bible? FACT its not. All we do is read some verses and then say "what that verse really means.. what JEsus was really saying".. SOME leave out "what how I personally believe". Perry Stone will tell you that..SOME others dont..
For me.. Jesus said He went to make us a home and will come get us so where He is we will be. I take HIM not man telling me what he personally thinks Jesus was saying or meant. Jesus is coming to get us. And facts.. 300-400AD hymn writer wrote about CAUGHT UP before 7 year trib. That does not prove pre tirb. Just .. they DID talk about it and believed it then. I saw it read the scroll. Then a show was on TV where the man show'd them and then talked about other scrolls before 300ad. Do dont let people try to tell you NO ONE talked about PRE TIRB before 1830-1930..what ever..
People need to stick with whats written.. live today for CHRIST in the moment He gave us. He never promised us tomorrow.. did you know that? WHY are we talking about a DAY we might never see? Almost cried again watching that clip. Brother Chuck gave me so much that I will never, ever be able to repay. God bless his sweet soul. He brought out things in the Word that even though I read them regularly, I wasn't as sharp and didn't see what he saw. He was mightily used of God and his love the for Jewish People was evident. When he died, I broke down and lost it. Could not watch any more of his vids for over a year (maybe 2). Then, I had a such comforting and heartwarming dream about him that gave me peace and I was able to go back to his videos. In the meantime is when I found Dr. Brown, so all is good.
Thumbs up on this vid. I very much appreciate Dr. Brown handling this delicately with dignity, grace and respect for those who may watch and feel the same as regards our loss of Chuck Missler. He is loved by many, many in this world. He greatly increased my love for the Word and showed me how to "handle" it with a closer eye to details. May our Great God and Savior bless him richly for his service to Him on this earth. And Mrs. Nancy Missler did wonderful work and produced great books in her service to Jesus Christ, Our Lord, also. Both were simply fantastic Christians who gave all for Our Lord and lived their faith to the uttermost. God bless them for it, I pray!

I want to thank you for lovingly challenging Chuck's view, Michael, as I find that these references to "imminency" are thinly veiled and have no spiritual backbone to support them, as you have so clearly pointed out. There is NO teaching in Scripture that says that Jesus can come back at any time. Only "when he returns" -- that's the teaching of Scripture. For example, Luke 18:8b, "Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:8b, WEB) Your points about Jesus saying to Simon Peter about how he would die, absolutely spot on. This teaching on imminency is simply not Scriptural. It's important to stand on the word of God, and not the word of man, and too many people have been caught up in popular teaching that does NOT come from the Scriptures! Having said this, I'm still studying this, and am really not of a firm mindset on exactly when all of this will happen, and am still learning. Thank you.

Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it.

Max Blade Except that would be contrary to what Jesus, the apostles and the Old Testament prophets have told us to do, numerous times, throughout the Bible. We are told to be ready, encouraged to “look up” and to look forward to His appearing (for which we get a crown), and, of course, in both the Old and New Testaments, we are told to watch, and when we see the signs that His coming draws near, to warn others!

The tribulation or time of Jacob's trouble is a tribulation time, before the Millennium, for the Jewish people in Israel.. not necessarily for the Church in the world

    • @SpotterVideo

The captives returned from captivity after Jeremiah wrote the Book of Lamentations, which reveals the time of trouble for Jacob's people.
Who is really teaching “Replacement Theology” ?
(Did God fulfill His promises to the Jewish people at Calvary? Matthew 26:28, John 19:30)
The advocates of modern Dispensational Theology often accuse others of promoting “Replacement Theology”, or some may even say “Antisemitism”. What does the Bible say about their accusations?
      1. Who is replacing Christ as the seed of Abraham through which all the families of the Earth would be blessed in Genesis 12:3, with Abraham’s modern descendants?
      2. Who is replacing the one people of God in John 10:16, with two peoples of God ?
      3. Who is replacing the one seed (Christ) in Galatians 3:16, with the many seeds?
      4. Who is replacing the children of the promise in Romans 9:8, with the children of the flesh?
      5. Who is replacing the faithful “remnant” of Israelites in Romans 11:1-5, with the Baal worshipers?
      6. Who is replacing the word "so" in Romans 11:26, with the word "then"?
      7. Who is attempting to replace the Church made up of all races of people, with one made up only of Gentiles? Why did Peter address the crowd as “all the house of Israel” in Acts 2:36, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted Christ on the Day of Pentecost?
      8. Based on Hebrews 9:15, the New Covenant cannot be separated from the Messiah’s death. Is the covenant in Daniel 9:27 connected to the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26. Is the covenant with the “many” in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the “many” in Matthew 26:28? If it is, some have replaced the New Covenant in Daniel 9:27 with a future covenant made by an antichrist not found in Daniel chapter 9. (See the 1599 Geneva Bible used by the Pilgrims.)
      9. Those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology often accuse others of teaching “Replacement Theology”, but are they the masters of it? Are they promoting a form of Dual Covenant Theology based on race? (See “genealogies” in Titus 3:9)
      10. Watch the RUclips video “Genesis of Dispensational Theology” to see the origin of this man-made doctrine, which is less than 200 years old. It was brought to the United States about the time of the Civil War by John Nelson Darby. The doctrine was later incorporated into the notes of the Scofield Reference Bible, and then spread through much of the modern Church.
Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas Texas was created in part to promote John Darby’s Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology.
Lewis Sperry Chafer, the first president of Dallas Theological, had the following to say about the difference between Israel and the Church:

“The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity.”
Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dispensationalism (Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936), p. 107.
Chafer states that, ‘Israel is an eternal nation, heir to an eternal land, with an eternal kingdom, on which David rules from an eternal throne,’ that is, on earth and distinct from the church who will be in heaven.”
Lewis Sperry Chafer. Systematic Theology. 1975. Vol. IV. pp. 315-323.
John Walvoord, another prominent voice of Dallas Theological stated…
"...it is an article of normative dispensational belief that the boundaries of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants from the Nile to the Euphrates will be literally instituted and that Jesus Christ will return to a literal and theocratic Jewish kingdom centred on a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. In such a scheme the Church on earth is relegated to the status of a parenthesis.”
      John F. Walvoord, The Rapture Question.1979, p. 25
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Are there two peoples of God in John 10:16? (See also 1 John 2:22-23, 2 John 1:7-11.)
What is the land promise to the Old Testament Saints in Hebrews 11:15-16?
Based on 2 Peter 3:10-13, is this earth “eternal”? Will it be replaced by a new earth?
Based on Acts 2:36, and Romans 9:6-8, and Romans 11:1-5, and Hebrews 12:22-24, and James 1:1-3, can faithful Israel and the Church be separated into two different groups?
Who is the New Covenant promised to in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and Hebrews 8:6-13?
Will modern Orthodox Jews ever be saved outside of the New Covenant Church?

How many 1st Resurrections are there?
Pre-Trib doctrine causes all of these issues which aren't there when the Rapture verses are all put together.

Paul the apostle said Then we who are alive, who are left, will be suddenly caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. Notice he says we not Those who are alive.. he included him self why bc it was revealed to him the rapture of the church.. and God used Paul to bring the gentiles to Jesus.. The body’s that you mentioned is the church coming to earth with him from where ?? Heaven is a promise that to where he is we were to be with him.. you know what’s so sad of you’re wrong doctrine is that now a days so called Christians do not fear God by drinking clubbing getting tattoos don’t preach about sin why bc they are not waiting for the rapture of the church bc they think is so far and that they will go through the tribulation is so dumb and sad I hope the Holy Spirit opens your eyes and repent ..

I love both of these tremendous men of God. After studying this issue for more than 30 years, I've come to this conclusion: after a superficial read, you will NOT come away from the Bible with a pre-tribulation Rapture position.
However, after studying the scripture with the proper "hermeneutical hygiene," and how the Holy Spirit uses patterns and parables to communicate Truth in a way only He can do, the pre-tribulation Rapture is painted all over the Bible, and in my humble opinion, it becomes so crystal clear.

I, too have studied this since the late 1980's. Only when putting all of the Scriptures together, in context, without reading dispensationalism into them, does one get a proper, Post-tribulational view of the Rapture. Turns out, it's also the Historical Premillennial view, held for centuries.
Also, Pre-Trib separates the Church into several different bodies -- Church Saints and Tribulation Saints, divides the saved Gentiles from the saved Jews, and creates the necessity of at least TWO Raptures, TWO "1st Resurrections" and two Returns.
It was never understood to be this way in the early church.

Neil Peterson I love a man who applies the correct Hermeneutics, Typologies and Patterns to Scripture, you can never go wrong. 🙌🏻 I also love the Scripture in Genesis which could be Foundational for a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. When one of the two angels tells Lot and his family to flee to Zoar (before destruction of Sodom) as Lot found FAVOR and was considered Righteous before God for protecting the angels. The Righteous are always Removed before Destruction. “ Hurry, escape there. FOR I CANNOT **DO ANYTHING** “UNTIL” YOU ARRIVE THERE.” Gen 19:22, 😘I have heard it said that before war begins a Government Removes its Ambassadors from Trouble, and We are Christs Ambassadors on Earth. You start to wonder and PLEASE FORGIVE ME if some are not being deceiving on purpose. Well.. I read the word come away with pre tirb. Now I cant find PRE TRIB OR MID OR POST TRIB in my bible. I can SEE all views. But I like a few ..it HAS to be written. Jesus told us He was going to make us a home.. and will come get us so where He is we will be. Now I have NOT TO BOAST seen heard WONDERS from my Father..our Father of our lord JESUS Christ. The only reason I can guess is..I read His word.. and I take HIM at what He said. Not listening to "what that verse really says.. what JEsus was really saying or who Jesus was really talking to was "
See.. for me JESUS IS REAL! And when I get stuck.. I search listen to ALL these men of GOD but in the end.. I have to pray and ask HIM! And CAUGHT UP... is something HE NEVER talks about.. NEVER says PRE is wrong. or post is wrong.. strange how HE WONT Talk ab out it..
I then YEARS ago.. how SOME OF YOU MISSED IT.. well you cant just GOOGLE IT. Before I saw the man on TBN (like or not TBN..it was a show ON TBN) he talked showd' scrolls of a man that wrote hymns and preached. I saw it...before I saw the show.. SCROLLS! And you can read it.. CAUGHT UP before 7 year trib.. when you ask did this man write these? 300 400ad.
This does not prove PRE TRIB! But it does prove some like those PAUL 1st wrote to..were watching waiting for JESUS. Searching I found those thought JESUS came and they missed it. I NEVER get "Paul was warning them that this teaching Jesus coming any moment was false or error".. a never got that.. now hearing it from someone.. and later they tell you about POST TRIB! Ok.. know I see why they say "Paul was really warning them.. what Paul was really saying" blood of JESUS..
JESUS told you.. I go to make you a home yes? ASK HIM! NOT MAN NOT DR BROWN.. a JESUS did you go to make me a home and your going to come get me so where you are IN HEAVEN.. I will be also? Did you say that to ALL of us?
I cant be the only one that can ASK and hear back right? JESUS IS REAL right? HE said MY sheep HEAR My voice? Sweet sweet Holy Spirit talks yes? ACTS He did.. or did some PREACHER aka MAN tell you why you cant hear from the GOD THAT IS IN YOU! IN YOU! IN YOU ... ask HIM..pray then WAIT on HIm..
then..if its HIM..He will back it up by HIS WORD! ASK HIM! ...all this TALK about what MAN believes and no one can just ask JESUS 2k years and NO ONE to this day KNOWS when now or afterr.. NO ONE KNOWS! so be ready NOW! Live for Him in the MOMENT HE GAVE YOU! Do everything for HIM Expect HIM NOW

Hello. I think that you are conflating the two. The groom will come for his bride and it is essential that she be ready at any moment-Enoch was and then was no more; where did he go? Ezekiel left but did not die; how did he depart? Who is the Restrainer/Comforter and what happens when He leaves? Jesus said that I must go so that the Comforter must come. They are mutually exclusive.
Paul remarked that what was hidden and specifically revealed to him was the opportunity of gentiles to be joint heirs. Because we believed and are tasked with bringing the gospel to others including those who are His chosen, we will not incur the wrath. The 1/2 half of trib is marked by specific events that will signal that period for those who initially rejected Him and killed His prophets. He will return and bring us with Him.

I was once a post-tribe believer having read Ladd at college..But years later the penny dropped primarily by rereading Roland Bucks Angels on Assignment book. Not so much the words of the angels that appeared to him but they way they explained the rapture .. it lines up with scripture. The feast of Tabernacles where the Israelitesmake booths to live in for 7 days (symbolic for 7 years) and on 8th day celebrate. And looking in Revelation that the " great" tribulation is primarily God's judgement upon the earth from his wrath..believers covered with the blood cannot experience those wrath judgements so they need to be elsewhere while it's going on.
I realise Dr. Brown is scholarly and he thinks they things honestly but sometimes the scholarly biases get in the way of simple truths..most scholars are amil or preterists so their expositions aren't going to help. But thank God he does look into someone's heart to see they accept pretrib rapture before he takes them..be free to discuss amongst brothers

And you think you will be able to make it believe in a time where SATAN and LYING wonders are going one..when someone that seems to be GOD LIKE all the answers...hes wrong why? If we cant live believe JESUS NOW! You never will then. Are DEMONS FALLEN ANGLES real? one can show up .. in a dream.. wonderful beautiful.. pure white.. talk about GOD this GOD that.. and you would KNOW its not of GOD? How?
Forgive me..but DR BROWN leaves this out.. Just take JESUS not me not anyone else at HIS word. HE told you.. I go to make you a place.. so be ready NOW ..no pre no post ..just live for HIM in the moment you have.. be ready NOW..you will never miss HIM! FOLLOW MAN you will ANY MAN

I encourage you to read 2 Thessalonians 2:6 where it speaks of the restrainer, and how the restrainer has to be taken out of the way before the revealing of the anti-christ. The restrainer is the Holy Spirit (and can also be the Church since Christ lives in our hearts) the church will not be here during the GREAT Tribulation, this is the time for the Jewish nation to finally receive Christ as their Messiah.
This is why it is called "Jacob's Trouble" from the book of Daniel. We know Jacob was given a new name, ISRAEL .... this is for the Jewish nation. The entire focus is on Israel, that is why if you read in Matthew 24:24 concerning the Abomination of Desolation it refers to the land of JUDEA (JEWS), telling them when they see the abomination of desolation, "people of Judea flee from your rooftops... take nothing with you...and pray that it not be on the SABBATH (extremely important to the Jews not to break the Sabbath.) Why is the abomination of desolation so important? Because this has happened before in history, 167BC The king of Syria Sntiochus IV desecrate the temple by offering the sacrifice of a pig on an alter to Zues (The Abomination of Desolation) The Jews have a deeper understanding of this concerning the temple, and I believe this is why many Jews will come to the realization that this anti christ is not who they thought he was their messiah, and then they come to faith in Jesus. The 3rd temple must be rebuilt, if there is going to be an abomination of desolation happening. The 3rd temple is not important to Christians because we already know that the body of Believers is the temple and Jesus dwells in us, there is no need for a physical temple for Christians, but for the Jews, this is so important for them because they rejected the Messiah and believe the only way he can come is to have this temple rebuilt...So then we can understand why Matthew only addresses people of Judea and not the entire world. If you continue to read in 2Thess 2:6 til the end, you will also find that all of the unbelievers during this time will believe the lie that the anti christ brings forth because God himself will send them a strong delusion and non of them will be saved. They had the opportunity to come to him but never did because they preferred sin, so this strong delusion is sent to them that they will receive the anti-christ and I am assuming the mark of the beast. Please read for yourself do not take my word for it, I have been studying this subject for nearly 7 years and since diving into this extremely fascinating subject I feel like my understanding is growing more and more. :) Blessings

Although I respect peoples opinions in this matter, after all we are all brothers and sisters, but it seems there's a lot of dancing around scripture when it comes to this position, however I have wrestled with the pre-trib view as well and mid-trib creates more questions when tested against the scripture....after wrestling with all of these for some time now, and searching the scriptures and letting THEM speak for themselves I have come to the conclusion that none of these positions, based in scripture, are correct. In my opinion I believe God will call His church up between the 4th and 5th seal, given the emphasis on the 12,000 of the 12 tribes, in other words this will be Israel's time of redemption, the church will be gone.

One reason I always believed in the pre-trib rapture was the doctrine of imminency. One reason I believed in imminency is the parable of the ten virgins. They had to stay ready for the groom because they never knew when he would arrive. I'm now starting to see that a lot of what I believed was based on dispensational teaching from people like Chuck Missler, Scofield, Charles Ryrie ... etc. I'm not fully convinced in the post-trib view yet but I'm warming up to it. Thanks for this video.

Glad you are questioning Dispensationalism. The parable doesn't teach imminency. The coming of the Bridegroom is ANNOUNCED. It is not sudden and secret, without a warning, as in the Pretrib teaching. In fact, it teachers that a significant amount of time passes between the announcement and the coming, in that the foolish have time to ask the wise for oil, the wise to answer them, and the foolish to go out and buy. Where is the imminency? Both the wise and the foolish knew the Bridegroom would soon come.
Also, the word imminent does not mean "sudden, without warning." It means "about to happen, just around the corner." The rapture is not "about to happen." Many have though that it was "about to happen" and were wrong. Jesus' coming is sudden and without warning, but it is not imminent.
Another issue with Dispensationalism is the identity of the Bride. In Revelation, the bride is made up of twelve foundations with the names of the twelve apostles (all Israelites), AND twelve gates with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel (the 144,000). The Bride is not made ready until Rev 18, when "all Israel" is saved.

My issue with this video is that Chuck Missler did nearly 2 hours on this topic, outlining scripture after scripture, example after example, and Michael Brown is responding to a couple points, and everyone in the comment section seems to be celebrating it.
Please look up Chuck Misslers rapture series for yourself, there are two parts. He outlines all scripture, very clearly explains it, and gives tons of examples of the scripture that supports pre trib throughout the entire Bible.
It’s also important to understand the heart of our Lord. None of you know for sure what’s considered “the wrath”. People say “it’s the sixth seal”, but the thing is, you don’t know for sure.

My heart goes out for people who believe in post trib rapture when the scriptures clearly give us blessed hope! I hope and pray for the post trib folks that "let it be done unto you according to your faith" does not apply to them!
First let's not confuse the ongoing persecution of the body of Christ with great tribulation cause these are 2 different things altogether.
The post trib people claim they are ready or prepared to go through tribulation and blame that pre trib people have "westernized snow flake Christianity" and are not ready or prepared to go through tribulation. I say forget about being ready and prepared for tribulation, some people are not even ready for some of the persecutions Christians go through in some parts of the world. Those who think they are, you are more than welcome to go and preach in some Muslim majority countries, North Korea, China, etc. Lot and his family were rescued before God’s wrath was poured out on Sodom and Gomorrah and they were commanded not to even look at it while the wrath was being poured out! Same way, Noah and his family were saved from the flood and forget about them even getting wet with any flood waters, they were not even given any access to view what was going on outside and hence there were no windows in the ark. Technically, the ark was not on earth/land but was lifted up above all the destruction, in the air so to speak.
The time of the great tribulation is called Jacob's trouble for a reason and not trouble of the church/bride! It's the time of purification of Israel so that they will believe in Jesus as their Messiah whom they pierced with the 2 witnesses (along with 144,000) preaching and glorifying Christ! God promises to supernaturally protect the nation of Israel while the wrath of God being poured out on the rebellious and blasphemous world. You will not find words like grace and mercy after Revelation chapter 3 when it all starts! During the great tribulation, the false prophet, the antichrist and the devil with his angels will be on earth (or cast out I should say) and the church/the bride will be with the Bridegroom and that's why Revelation 12:12 says, "Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time." Post trib folks picture the Lord Jesus Christ as someone who is saying to His (persecuted) bride/church "because you have suffered the persecution for my name's sake, I'm gonna make sure you stay on earth during the great tribulation (the time of outpouring of God's wrath) and that's your blessed hope!!!"
About the rapture Lord Jesus said no one knows the day or the hour but if post trib folks want to apply that to the second coming, then guess what once the tribulation starts, everyone including the devil and his angels, false prophet and antichrist know that Jesus is coming after about 7 years!!

Paul says that the Coming of Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to meet Jesus will NOT take place until the following happens FIRST.
      1. The Apostasy
      2. The Revealing of the Son of Perdition
Then when those two things Clearly happen Jesus WILL Come and Gather us Together to Himself.
      1. The Apostasy has NOT happened Yet!
      2. The Son of Perdition has NOT been Revealed Yet!

Yeshua, Jesus Christ of Nazereth is not an ascended master or guru or consciousness or any type of universal spirit energy or consciousness. That is false.
Now, dear woman, you are certainly entitled to your opinion, but your feminist attitude is unbiblical and antiChrist in the Quest for Truth, so we need to humble ourselves and be corrected when we are Way Off Simple Foundational tenets of Biblical Truth.
I humbly, with respect, am only trying to gently steer you towards the Truth as all men and women are not without mistakes or error from time to time and need correcting, including you, me and Chuck Missler.
First of all, I too am a huge fan of Chuck, and he taught me many a thing as a young scholar, but on later review he has made several errors which he hasn't corrected himself of.
I still am a fan and loved his entertaining teaching style and humour. And he is greatly missed and respected highly by those who agree or disagree with a few of his beliefs. So...
Quickly, I'll tell you a few errors then get to the crux.
1 Chuck says the rendering in Daniel 2:43 gives the interpretation of
... they shall not cleave to and... mingling with the Seed... Is the right translation. He sadly does so to stretch this verse to the nephilim alien beliefs he has. I actually believe in that but this scripture does not support that, in the iron and clay metaphorical interpretation as the Hebrew, Latin and Greek have different meanings we can choose, so he is beung biased in his choice of meaning when we honestly objectively analyse the text and meaning without favourable bias.
      2. Chuck makes the same mistake as above with his interpretation of scripture that he selects to favour the pre trib rapture view, as like many elderly ppl, they choose this view, As it's more comfortable and comforting to believe this than going through the great Tribulation, and I've looked at his argument objectively, without bias towards or against that view and conclude unequivocally that the rapture occurs at the second coming which is at the 6th seal 6th trumpet, pre Wrath of God, but post Wrath of satan, that is post trib. This is proven by revelation 12.v17-19, and Matthew 24.
Supported by 2Thess2, Mark 21, Luke 13 and Micah 5v5.
As well as many other places in Daniel 9.24,27, 11v32 and others. Christ Himself tells us we shall have to ensure, and be strong even unto death, but many will be saved in Sanctuaries God provides to hide us during Satan's antichrist Wrath...
      Rev 12, Rev 13.
3 Chuck worked closely with military and government whistle-blowers re aliens, DUMBs and other Nephilim related experiences in the USA and worldwide, re close encounters etc, but this has led him to believe in a unhealthy obsession with this area which has coloured his interpretation and views which has become too biased off kilter and influenced others to do the same, when the proof of such, is not concrete or significant enough to be believed as the proper belief. His idea of a nephilim return has influenced and fascinated most scholars today or challenged them, but on honest analytical review, we cannot agree with Chuck, as his methods were again, selective in choice of meaning of words, which support his alien nephilim view.
4 with great respect and Admiration we love Chuck and his amiable charismatic teachings and delivery but we must not allow entertainment value and charm influence our doctrine if there is error mistakes or honest lack of perspective in realising our own unconscious bias. Hence the need for vigilant scrutiny.
This requires often tedious effort and time consuming honest testing, and self examination for being truly objective and free of unintentionally being biased towards our own existing beliefs and favourably held views and doctrines.
This is a difficult thing to do. Be totally objective in our study and analysis, and be humble enough to be corrected, admit we were wrong, and learn from our mistakes. Pride blocks ppl from doing so. They then lead others astray who aren't as vigilant studious or conscientious in their scrutiny, for Accurate Truth.
Therefore, I urge you to be aware of this, and the misinformation, disinformation, lies and propaganda out there, designed to make us the Body of Christ, look foolish, for believing in them.
However I do believe the nephilim are returning through bloodlines, TRANSHUMANism, and maybe giants sealed up in the earth or fallen angels bound in the earth, because these are in scripture and not disputed or can be interpreted in other drastically different ways.
Nevertheless, Chucks work is significant and he has certainly created interest in prophecy, nephilim and aliens, whom we know are demons, but we must be cautious not to seem foolish because we jump into beliefs without testing their validity accuracy and probability.
Be blessed In Yeshua ha Meshiach.
      Shalom.

Hi, my husband and I know that Jesus is coming after the “tribulation of those days”. Jesus said so in Matthew 24. It is so clearly described by Jesus in that chapter. I don’t know why some people don’t see it. I think that they do not want to see it. But I rather have the Holy Spirit prepare my soul and body for
tribulations times, than think that I will be getting out for the tribulation. Besides, there is a difference between the tribulation times and the wrath of God. The tribulation is brought about by the anti-Christ, not God. God has not appointed us to wrath. Yes, that’s what is going to happen at the end of the 7 years of tribulations. That’s what is called “the Day of the Lord”. We are not appointed to that wrath. Amen. Hallelujah. Thank You Jesus.

Multiple Second Coming Visions in Revelation:
(which prove the book is not in chronological order)
Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse.
Those at the end of the chapter are hiding from the wrath of the Lamb.
Why would they be hiding if Christ is not present?
The "kings", "captains", "might men", "free", and "bond" are also found in chapter 19 at the return of Christ.
He returns at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18.
The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson containing the fall of Satan, and the birth and death of Christ, who is the seed promised to crush the head of Satan in Genesis 3:15.
The Second Coming is found in the "harvest" of chapter 14, which is related to the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew chapter 13.
He comes as a thief at Armageddon, and we find the greatest earthquake in history in chapter 16. This occurs when the 7th angel pours out his vial. How powerful is an earthquake which moves islands and destroys the mountains? What is happening to the planet?
He comes on a horse in chapter 19.
He comes with the fire, and the judgment of the dead at the end of chapter 20, which agrees with what Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, and 2 Timothy 4:1.
(The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.)
There are no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46.
Why does an angel come down from heaven with a key to unlock the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1-2, if the pit was not already locked?
Revelation 9:14 proves some of the angels have already been bound in some manner.
Because the two witnesses were bodily resurrected from the dead in Revelation 11, the "first resurrection" at the beginning of Revelation 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the book.
The only way to properly interpret the book is through the principle of "Recapitulation".

The Capital "C" Church, as we use the word today, is not found in the entire Book of Revelation. Individual church bodies in ancient Asia Minor are found.
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

So which is it?
    2) The angel in tribulation comes bearing a NEW GOSPEL. One which needs works as well as faith so Paul said this person (angel) would be ACCURSED! So it is not possible that both the church AND then remnant of Israel exist side by side at this time! And what time is it?? Clearly, it is the time of JACOB's Trial...ISRAEL!! And ONLY Israel.

The saved, prior to the Time of Jacobs Trouble will be removed and the remnant of Jews that follow Christ will be “hid” in the day of trouble.
If we’re saved, our salvation is complete and enduring unto the end would mean we’re trusting in a works based salvation.

    Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We are family. One family in Christ. Brothers Chuck and Michael are in this same family of ours, all in Christ Jesus. We should never forget that, and ever be mindful of it when we make a post for others to read on the Internet. I love ALL members of my family.
Brother Chuck did a wonderful service for Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ during his years on this earth, as did his dear wife, Nancy. They were fantastic people who gave their lives to serving Our Lord. Brother Michael and his wife, also Nancy, have done precisely the same, and we should be able to respect both of these families for all they've done for us. I pray that God bless all them richly in the afterlife! I know that I can't repay either for all they've given me in teaching, for which I will be forever grateful. Having said that, I don't necessarily agree with either one on every point. I don't need to do that, and when I don't agree with either it doesn't change one bit my love and respect for them. We are all unique individuals and our thoughts are never going to be same on every detail of Scripture. But never should we make negative remarks about our own family simply because we disagree on an issue - a non-salvific issue at that. The whole world can read our posts.
It was my opinion that Brother Michael did a fantastic job in his opening remarks giving great respect to Brother Chuck. I've seen remarks here about this being done to a man who is dead and can't defend himself. True, and Dr. Brown took that into consideration. There are some other remarks stating that Dr. Brown should have debated Dr. Missler. Well, that would never have happened anyway because Dr. Missler refused to debate anyone, as those of us who were part of his audience can attest. He believed nothing good ever came from them and that they never really changed anyone's mind anyway. For those of us who “knew” him, I think it's safe to say that he would have said, “We are all one body. It's not a salvation issue, and Dr. Brown is my brother in the Lord, so what good could come of debating a fellow brother?” Then, he would have told a joke, laughed, and sincerely blessed Dr. Brown and family, and that would have been that. End of story.
I very, very much love and respect both Brother Michael and Brother Chuck! But let's please, please be careful with our wording because Chuck would never have wanted anyone to ever defend him with negative words towards his fellow brother in Christ Jesus. Please be careful and please honor his memory the way he would have wanted it honored: With agape.

We are going to meet Him in the air...not...on the Mt. of Olives. "We who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught UP in the clouds to meet the Lord in the AIR." How do you explain away this verse? The doctrine of Imminency is woven throughout the NT Scriptures. The early Believers were looking for Jesus to return in their lifetime. The return of Jesus is my Blessed Hope...Post Triber's are constantly trying to get those of us resting, waiting, and watching to lay aside OUR BLESSED HOPE!

    • @dustinfordham4007
      @dustinfordham4007 5 лет назад +2

Firstly, I would like to say that one should not levy false accusations, especially one as severe as saying that post-tribbers are trying to lull others into resting and laying aside the blessed hope. On to your main question: He actually addressed this verse directly in the video. He did not say that we met Christ on the Mount of Olives. He stated that we meet Him in the air and we descend with Him to the mount of Olives. Your emphasis in that passage is placed on the wrong words. If you do a word study on the word "meet" in the 1Thess4 passage, you find that it is the Greek word "apentesis" which is only used in two other instances in scripture. Both of those times it is used to describe a group leaving where they are to meet someone and then going with them to their destination. One occasion is in Matthew 25 when the virgins go out to meet (apentesis) the bridegroom and go with Him into the wedding feast. The only other occasion is in Acts 28, verses fourteen through sixteen, when Luke and Paul are traveling to Rome. The brethren within Rome go as far as the Appi forum and the three taverns (about 40 miles away) to meet (apentesis) Paul and Luke, and it isn't until verse 16 that they enter Rome. Again, this word always relates to going out to meet someone and then traveling with them to their destination. So, yes, we go "UP in the clouds to meet the Lord in the AIR"; then we descend with Him to the mount of Olives. Another key point of emphasis is on the word "coming". It is the Greek word "parousia" and refers to an arrival, specifically frome one place to another. In context, this even occurs when Christ comes from Heaven to Earth. I want to encourage you to delve deeper into your scriptural studies. It should not be enough to have biblically-based teaching; we should strive to have biblically sound teaching. I thank you for your time. Farewell.

    • @victoriankathy
      @victoriankathy 5 лет назад

@@dustinfordham4007 Respectfully, I did not levy any false accusations toward anyone. "I'd like to encourage you to delve deeper into your spiritual studies"...Why? Why did you feel the need to tell me this? There is no need to paint yourself as superior because I don't agree with the post-trib point of view. You have no clue as to my Bible background. You don't know anything about me, nor the years I spent putting myself through Bible College. Nor, do you know the countless hours I've spent pouring over my Bible...as a student, and...yes, as a teacher. So, before you encourage me to delve deeper and not yield to biblically-based teaching but strive to have biblically sound teaching...let me encourage you not to make blanket statements without knowing what you're talking about.

@@victoriankathy With all due respect, you said (and I quote), "Post Triber's are constantly trying to get those of us resting, waiting, and watching to lay aside OUR BLESSED HOPE!". This is a false accusation and, as previously mentioned, a fairly severe one. The fact is that people who hold to a post-tribulational view (generally speaking) simply want people to be aware that they may suffer for Christ, and that they should at the very least be prepared to do so. Also, I in no way intend to present myself as superior by any means. In as much as you assert that I don't know about you, so you also do not know me; and the fact is that I encourage everyone to delve deeper into their scriptural (not spiritual [I tend not to use that word often as it has many non-biblical connotations]) studies. That was in no way that directed as a slight toward you. It was exactly what I wrote it to be, an encouragement. I simply saw the question you raised, pointed out that it was already addressed in the video, and provided supplemental details which I do sincerely hope you will consider and look further into. I also hope you will look into the origins of the doctrine. As for striving for biblically sound teaching, I stand by that comment. It should never be the goal of the believer to have scripture on their side, but rather to be on the side of scripture. This is a true statement, regardless of one's background or doctrinal leanings. Thank you again for your time. Farewell.

The tribulation is when christians will be killed:
Revelation 6: 9And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
The wrath of God comes immediately after the tribulation and is directed at NON Christians:
Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

I grew up pre-trib and went to a lot of Missler's teaching sessions, but even as a child it didn't sit right with me about what pre-trib theory taught. However I presumed that I was young and didn't understand the Bible all that well and so I trusted the teachers that I learned from.
However as an adult and I continued reading the Bible for myself and expanded my knowledge, I kept finding issues with pre-trib theory to the point that I needed to abandon it. I really cannot find a single passage in the Bible which supports it.
The best is Revelation 3:10, but this promise is given to just one church. Even if we say that the promise goes out to all churches and that these 7 churches were picked to serve as types of churches throughout all of history, we still have to ask, will only one type of church be raptured? Even though other churches in Revelation 2 and 3 are chastized, they are told that there are still some among them to be commended and told to persevere. Will they be excluded from the rapture? I don't think so.
The hour of trial spoken of here that is coming upon the whole world should be compared with other scripture to conclude what it is. Even if it's a promise to be raptured, which is not directly promised, just protection from the hour of trial through "some" method, we still see that this protection seems to apply to protection from the Day of the Lord. I would look at Luke 21:34-36 where there is mention of the day which arrives like a snare and how there is an escape for those found worthy. But verse 35 mentions that this snare is coming "upon the whole world." It has identical language as Revelation 3:10. There is an hour of trial or snare which is coming upon the whole world. Revelation 14:7 also talks about the "hour of judgment" which is coming. It likewise would be coming in conjunction with the arrival of the Son of Man in the clouds which we see just a few verses later in Revelation 14:14. This harvest performed by the Son of Man here obviously matches up well with Matthew 24:30-31, Luke 21:25-28, and Mark 13:24-27. This would be the "escape" which corresponds with the gathering of the elect and the "rest" which is promised in 2nd Thessalonians 1:6-10 when Jesus is revealed from heaven with mighty angels in flaming fire to take vengeance.
It's important to note that 2nd Thessalonians is written to church age gentile Thessalonians and not Jews or tribulation saints as some would say are the ones that these promises and warnings are given to. I've heard so many times that Matthew 24 is written to just Jews and tribulation saints who come to faith after the pre-trib rapture has taken place. But then does Paul not think that these Thessalonians he's writing to here will take part in that pre-trib rapture? Why is he telling them that they will not receive their rest until the Day of the Lord when Jesus is revealed from heaven in flaming fire with vengeance?

      ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭

      Dr. Brown,
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

I wish Dr Chuck Missler was here to debate with Dr Michael Brown. I love and respect both men plus I believe it would have been an awesome debate. There's more to the video that Dr. Brown was responding to.

MrThaKrane Chuck didn’t believe in debates. He thought he was prone to pride when participating in a debate.

As someone who's learned from both, let me just say this isn't Chuck vs Mike it's about which view is correct, and having said this Mike's view definitely align with scripture much better. Also scripture tells us Christ will have only two comings not 3.

Best OT picture is Israel’s exodus from Egypt. God covered Israel through the tribulations brought upon Egypt. The Lord the brought Israel out only AFTER Passover. We, who remain faithful, will be brought out after all these birth pangs come to pass. I believe many will fall away from the faith because of the tribulations to come.

The Lion and his lamb are there not nations, tribes, peoples and tongues, dead in Christ now?
If the rapture is pre-trib, this is the only event not echoed in the Old Testament.

The Lion and his lamb , however, “the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is not a God of the dead, but of the living.” Are we yet not understanding the scripture nor the power of God? Clearly, is not as clearly as you think. Dead to us is not, nor ever has been, dead to God.

Then how was an “non-resurrected” rich man talking to God about an non-resurrected Lazarus resting with a non-resurrected Abraham concerning living relatives?
It doesn’t appear we have the puzzle pieces quite together yet.
If we are gone before the tribulations, Glory to God! Still, what have tribulations been for in the past but to bring repentance? If the church is gone, how are the wheat and the weeds harvested together?
Bless you brother, I want to be prepared for either scenario.

The Lion and his lamb So, how do you explain this away? Clearly! Especially Vs 5.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Both sides have good arguments. My one question for post trib would be, who would be left if Christ arrives then? The few who barely survived by running and hiding

The bible says that humans will survive Gentiles and Jews, so do not worry, the Lord is in charge and it will be so, has nothing to do with the Rapture of Post-trib.

A 'Chuck/ Brown' debate (2 way communication) would have been useful here....
