You can rename your weapon to 'y' and 'mod' the you're special book to make it scrappable. I think eso shows it

Good, maybe now a mod can be put on the BFG that actually makes it good to use.

Nah, tried it and it still works.

It worked for me, but in strange way. IF there was any ammo in my inventory, glitch did not perform. But when i stored all my ammo it worked.
