Част ми је да је генерал Милорадовић из моје породице,Србин поријеклом !
A great sounding march. Just love the sound of the soaring Euphoniums and horns. Trombone sections always play with such authority and the light hearted reeds and that piccolo player is fabulous. Why is it all Russians musicians can sing with great style and intonation? I get a kick out the directors minimalist style. There is no doubt he is in total control.
One of my favourite modern marches and one of the best of Khalilov who, together with many other great artist, was taken from this world way too early...
My favorite march from Khalilov was “Ship’s Bell.”
@@Rustycaddy17 ruclips.net/video/GhYyhnB96W0/видео.html this is another one of my favourites, especially the part after 0:44, it is so thrilling with lightness, I hear it when I have a bad mood, to cheer me up
@@MajorBlackadder Yes, beautiful march (it's dedicated to his brother - Alexander Khalilov, and here - ruclips.net/video/kh-yYNQGOO8/видео.html - conducted Mikhail Khalilov he is son of Alexander Khalilov
). Here march "General Valery Khalilov" by Alexander Khalilov (2017) - ruclips.net/video/zCPaWX7ERJE/видео.html (sorry, I do not have better quality recording).
@@PetrovFed The march "General Valery Khalilov" is also very nice, some parts I'd say are borrowed from "General Miloradovich". Hopefully there will be a better version, soon
@@Rustycaddy17. Yes I agree, but I particularly like "Uhlan". You can hear the horses and the harness! It has certain overtones of Malcolm Arnold's march "Padstow Lifeboat", another of my favourites.
I grew up in the Sousa March King era, but clearly there are many March Kings and Valery Khalilov is one of the very best.
