I'm about a week late for Cosmonaut's day, the 60th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's first space flight, but I would still like to take this as an opportunity to recognize the achievements of all Cosmonauts and all who worked on the space program.
My favourite arc of the Anime has to be when Yuri has to team up with the Buzz Aldrin and fight their common enemy to humanity. That was one of the best season finales.
The soviet space anime, I imagine the premise of every episode is a simple yet overdramatized task Maybe a special guest is Yuri or maybe on a crossover with a possible American version would be Armstrong?
The more sad thing is, The hangar the Buran and the Energia Was in collapsed and luckily the buran is half intact but sadly it will probably get scrapped, the Buran was put on a Barge and passed by middle of moscow somehow
Sounds like the opening for an anime where Yuri Gagarimatsu an experienced pilot of a combat ship who, together with other pilots of the united earth forces, fights against the evil forces of an alien civilization.
While the past may not have been kind to the Russian Federation as the former RSFSR. the hopefull tone of this song speaks not of a past filled with struggle but of a glorious future filled with hope!!! It is exactly that hopefull and energetic tone that makes me love this song even more. So stay strong Russia and thank you for always posting such great songs Comrade!

I see a lot of recordings of high profile Russian musicians performing to smaller crowds indoors, as a foreigner I've been wondering what are these places they're performing at? Are the musicians performing for television programs, are these very expensive concerts, etc?
Television program, yes. I am from China and this is definitely some sort of televised holiday event. The venue is very reminiscent of our own Spring Festival Gala in how it is set up, but more blue instead of red.

Buran launching in the sands of Baikonur really gets to me. It's sad that the Buran program was cancelled.
