I use a safety pin ... attach it at the end of your loc and latch on... I had a tool and found safety pin so much easier .. I have to interlock every couple years ... just to help w hair that is not locing... thanks for always sharing

the bit you interlock will not be fat like the one you interlock it will be thinner.everyone who knows about locs knows that interlocked locs are more compressed than the palmrolled ones..your hair is probably thinning as a result of too much manipulation. over time it's taking its toll. as you doing so much .try to sleep well avoid stress as much as possible and eat well .try to make time for yourself to relax .it's very important. hair can start shedding and thinning months after .it is not instant .you still have these white bits in your hair.it still hasn't washed out completely. give this hair a break sis .it will thank you . too much testing .with locs sometimes the less you do is the more. bless .

Mine are interlocked and I can’t stand when they get thin at the roots and break off. No more interlocking for me I’ll be twisting the new growth because I lost 30 to 40 locs last year 🤬

That is a lot of locs to be losing in one year. I have been interlocked for almost four years now and I have not lost any of my locs. How frequently are you retightening and how tight? I retighten every four to five weeks and I only use the two-point rotation. I also do not tighten to my scalp. Just my little unsolicited opinion. Good luck on your journey.

also I wouldn't if I were you palmroll each time all the way to the end of the loc when retwisting .depending on how often you do this it makes you locs more fragile .with time.your locs are indeed getting thinner .wrapping few strands back around the loc is healthier than vigorously pamrolling as you do .give them also a break from curls sis it weakens them .at this rate you may need to double them . bless
