Hi Scott, great video and explanation of your work, the commentary with helpful tips is so helpful to DIYers looking to learn (and I'll honestly share I don't usually leave public comments). Subscribed. Thank you, RR.
Scott, great video. Very detailed. I'm super excited for this series as we have a bump out in out master Bedroom & have been thinking of a window seat for years. Hoping all is well Bud, Dirty Jersey out!!
Glad you enjoyed it. We've been debating about a window seat for a while too, but finally decided to commit to it... publicly too, so I guess it's too late to back out now 😉 Cheers. Scott
Good question John. That's the approach I use when I pre-build the caps in the workshop... you will see that in the next video. I use a Japanese pull saw, which is quick and accurate. Cheers. Scott
Clearly you've never manually turned a dust collector off and on repeatedly. It's a total workflow killer. My setup is even more automated than this one, it automatically powers the DC on when the saw comes on.
@@HomeImprovementWoodworking yep, it's the iVac Pro Tool Plus. It looks like you already open an iVac so you could add it to your setup for minimal effort. Btw I was responding to the first guy not you, I didn't tag him so not sure it was clear.
I love your quality explinations and tips on how to have a great outcome on the project at hand.
Thank you very much! I'm glad to hear you appreciate that. Scott

Great job! Wouldn't it be easier to make this on the bench then put the top on the wall?
Nice work! Could you have trimmed the returns on the back (flat) edge with a belt sander or sanding block? I appreciate the book references. Thanks!

Norm Abram would approve!!
Thank you for the video.
What is size of the small crown molding and also a name of a product/Brand to buy at Home Depot.
Appreciate your early reply.
Great contents! You should have more subcribers....👍
I appreciate that! Not sure why RUclips isn't promoting our videos more. Please share with others. Scott

Thank you!
Scott, is that a saw stop jobsite saw I see. I would be interested in a tool review when you have enough time with it.
Yes, it is. I've replaced my 20-year old Delta with a safer model. Thanks for the idea for making a video. Cheers. Scott

Never heard that before. Thanks for sharing. Scott
Craftsmanship nice job 👍
Thank you! Scott
Maybe you can show how to repair an outside door that will not close, frame is warped, out of square.
Thanks
You're welcome. Scott
Reason for those dips at end of board is probably due to incorrect roller setting on thicknesses.
Nobody is nailing these by hand
Remote off on switch for the Saul. How much lazier are we going to get?
The remote is for the dust collection system, not the saw... that sounds dangerous. Scott

Oh, that sounds cool. Is it an iVac switch system?

How do you have time to spend 4 hours to case a door.
Hahahahaha the tray of shitty moldings lol
