Ryan, thanks for the clip. There are a lot of videos about the exploits and failures of the powerful of the world. But I want to know the mundane things. How, for example, in the case of incest of a relative (brother -sister, father - daughter), was there only a sex relationship or did they love each other as much as lovers?🥰

I am probably going to make an ignorant comment, but I have considered this for a long time. As I understand DNA research on several mummies, Tutankhamen's parents have been identified, with his mother being the "Younger Lady". Further, the DNA studies show intense inbreeding.
So I have wondered if Meritaten married Smenkhare (possibly a younger brother of Akhenaten?), and if they could be the parents of Tutankhamen? As I recall, and as briefly mentioned in this video, Meritaten took Tutankhamen to live with her in the palace formerly belonging to Kia.
Since dates are approximate, I have wondered if Meritaten was born a few years before her father became pharaoh? If Queen Ti was congratulated on the birth of her grandchild circa 1352 BC, Meritaten's birth could have occurred some time before that since I am sure news travelled slowly and greetings equally slow.
I think it is possible that Meritaten could have been old enough to be the mother of Tutankhamen.
No tomb has been found for her and Egyptologists are uncertain of Smenkhare's identity. Perhaps they both succumbed to plague ~ or accident in the case of the Younger Lady(?) ~ just before Tutankhamen became pharaoh.
Judging by the collection of family items in his tomb, I feel like the precious objects were quickly interred and sealed up because he had died and a major regime change was happening. I have an idea that Tutankhamen had had all of his relatives and their grave goods removed from Amarna, probably with the plan of a major tomb structure for all in the Valley of the Kings. But he died prematurely, and thankfully for us, so many glorious items were hurriedly stuffed into his tomb. As for the family mummies waiting for new tombs, those were never built and the remains were left unattended in an anti-chamber.
I really do not know much but I have thought deeply about the mysteries surrounding the end of this dynasty and these ideas make sense to me. Concerning Kia as Tutankhamen's mother, if the Younger Lady is his mother, she was closely related to other family members. I suppose she could have been Akhenaten's sister or a first cousin, but why could his mother not have been Meritaten?

According to the DNA evidence, Tut's mom was identified as the Younger Lady who's mummy was discovered in KV 35 along with Queen Tiya. She was one of the 5 known daughters of Amenhotep III and Tiya. None of their known daughters were named Kiya. So where she came from is unknown. Nasty gash in head and body indicates a violent death.
