check out her covers of"through the fire and flames" and "for the love of God". you will see why multiple guitar publications say she's the best female guitarist in the world
Welcome to the world of Tina S. Started studying classical guitar at the age of 6 then switches to electric at age 13. From the ages of 14-17 she releases covers of some of the hardest guitar solos ever done, then disappears after this Beethoven masterpiece. She rarely looks at the fret board and makes everything look effortless. People will direct you to her cover of Through the Fire and Flames, but my favorites are the ones that require emotion and feel to get right: For the Love of God, Altitudes, and The Loner. Eruption is also a favorite because its the first cover she released and I'm a long time EVH fan.
The thing you need to pay attention to is, how she finishes the piece, she smiles and puts her arm on. What else... the best ever. It's no surprise that Steve Vai never said a word about your cover of For the Love of God. She is simply Tina, the best!
Welcome to the world of Tina S, who is one of the best guitar players I have ever seen, all of us who have seen her incredibly talented performances hope she comes back soon, the most incredible thing is that she did it for pleasure, it would be glorious a return to show us what who has grown up during this long time without uploading cover videos
As far as I'm aware, she first played the electric guitar some four years before this. Prior to that, she played the classical guitar. Vai's For the Love of God, Becker's Altitudes, and Moore's The Loner are my favourites.
Every once in a while I like to look for reactions to things I know are 10 levels above the crop, just to see if it clicks in peoples heads how mindbogglingly extraordinary it actually is. Well spotted sir! It is her song now :D
Yep, it would be impressive to see someone who has played for 30 years do this kind of thing. She is simply stunning. The efficiency of her technique smashes me in the face, and steals my lunch money. I don't know what else to say about someone who is this good at such a young age. The amount of dedication and practice must have been legendary.
The look on your face when she finished! Then the look of satisfaction on her face as if in response! It's been a long time since I have felt so satisfied. Now you have seen and heard one more possible thing in this world that is wonderful and beautiful. It does fill us with hope, doesn't it? I agree.
She out taps the best tappers and out shreds the best shredders! She only picks the toughest songs to cover. You need to hear her cover of Steve Vai's "For the Love Of God". This was transposed to guitar by Dr. Viossy in 2011. She's a prodigy for sure to do this at 17 while going to school.
Welcome to the club now waiting for the goddess to return….she showed us nothing was beyond her abilities and apparently moved on to have a life….more power to her… Check out her covers of Vai’s “For the love of God” maybe her most passionate….& or Jason Becker’s “Altitudes” I’m with you on this giving us hope!!! …for more hope… Check out Tokyo Groove Jyoshi…. Their sometimes saxophonist Harumo Imai… And….because we all need it… Otyken “Genesis”
She is the Floor of the guitar! We can but hope that one day she posts again. But in the meantime the body of works she has left us with are pure gold. Glad you enjoyed this one.
She started at a really young age on acoustic guitar and later electric guitar. There is a a few videos of her playing really young on acoustic like Hotel California. Thanks.
The thing is, she is note perfect & has perfect timing on an already incredibly difficult piece musically. Her skills are never disputed & she is endorsed by some of the best guitar players in the world, Steve Vai, Herman Li etc. The bone of contention, as you pointed out, is that if you didn't see her actually playing this, you would easily think it was digital software, created on a computer. It's that perfect. Therein lies the problem for some people, the lack of soul and feeling. It's a fair assessment but at the same time, also elevates her to almost super-human levels of guitar playing. Some love it, some hate it but whatever the case, this shows how constant training & an obsessive level of dedication from a very early age, can produce a musical prodigy. Exceptional stuff.
Check her other covers such as Altitudes or For the love of God and you will see a lot of feelings and emotions. Not in her face, but in her fingers and her play!
If you watch, she very seldom looks at the fret board... someone said "her fingers look like an angry spider dancing on the fret board" ... Welcome to the Tina S addiction. Next check out he cover of Steve Vai's "For The Love Of God" PHENOMENAL!!!
I HIGHLY recommend that you check out her covers of "For the love of god" by Steve Vai and "Through the fire and flames" from Dragon Force. She is one of the BEST guitarists around. AMAZING! All of her covers are just amazingly done!
You're going to have jealous idiots saying this is sped up or fake. it's not. we're here move in real time also she is a sponsor for one Francis leading guitar manufacturers. do you think they would sponsor her if she couldn't do this
- TINA S's teacher Renaud Louis-Servais comment : "... a small precision concerning this version, it is an arrangement made by the incredible Italian guitarist, Michele "DrViossy" Vioni, who was kind enough to let us use his version."
I know you've recently done Through The Fire and Flames. But Alice is right You really need to check out 2 others 1st Steve Vai for the Love of God Cover and Yngwie Malmsteen Arpeggios From Hell cover. Like Herman Li Steve Vai reached out to Tina and congratulated her on flawless cover.
There's someone that has the vocals that's as unbelievable as Tina playing this. Check out Dimash ( stranger ) is the name of the song. Also check out Dimash, sos Slavic bizarre. Listen to they entire songs you would be equally shocked.

I've seen all her video's. She's better than most professionals.
Well that's a massive understatement. Her technique is literally world class.

I would venture to say you could take the word “female” out of that statement. She just THE best.
She is one of the best.....it does`nt matter if it is male or female!
Great reaction.
There are no words to express such talent.
Tina is simply not of our world.

The tham by me,I love the End when she smile😊😊❤.
What's even more incredible is note for note she didn't make one freaking mistake. Unbelievable!!!
You can say that the guitar is part of her body, which she is totally in control of - like an athlete who trained the most part of his/her life. WOW!
Done in one take, 7 notes per second. Admiration total.

she was 17 when this came out and if i remember it took her 10 weeks to master this
Yes, her teacher Renaud said that.

You still did not hear Steve Vai from Tina S . try it .......
She is my all-time favorite guitarist of all time. Even over Randy Rhoads.
Yeah, that was my reaction also. I dug a hole and threw my guitars in it and covered it.
Comme vous le dites si bien, Tina est au delà des mots................... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She started playing when she was in the womb.
I recognize your emotions, it was me the first time I listened that rendition..
It's also interesting to watch Valentina Lisitsa play this. Just as amazing.

I think she is at a level where the brain is out of the game - it's the fingers that play. the fingers have stored all the sequences.
A guitarist called Dr Viossy made the arrangement. He needs a call out I feel.
