Her cover of Steve Vai for the love of God is amazing, and she seems to have more of an emotional connection in her playing.
Yeah, that's my favorite video of hers, it's outstanding.
seconded
It’s because this piece requires maximum attention to play. No time off for ridiculous pained expressions like some guitarists pretending that bending a note is the most complex thing in the world and as painful as a “rough” bowel movement.
@@frankiek2269 feeling doesn't come from facial expressions... what a casual comment to make lol
Yes! She taps like Van Halen, shreds like Buckethead and in her cover of "For The Love Of God" she shows her mastery of the Whammy Bar. All at the age of 15! Go Tina!
Tina S new band Spin Twice. New EP available September 1.
She went off to college. She got her bachelor’s degree last year, then continued her advanced degree. I hope also that she comes back to grace us. She is phenomenal. Her Vivaldi Tribute is amazing also.
She plays in a punk rock band now. Blonde hair. How is this comment 1 year old?
Hope she comes back to wow the world soon. You’re awesome Tina, wherever or whatever you’re doing in your world today I wish you the best!
If Beethoven could have listened to Tina S's performance, he would have died of envy!
She is perfection embodied! She is from another planet!
Hard to play on a piano - but on a guitar? 7 notes a second, no mistakes, and not looking down at the fretboard most of the time. Fantastic.
Simply memorizing a piece this complex says a lot about her brain.
Someone else figured it out years ago. But I remember their post. Kinda! They said 7,000+ notes in the piece averaging 7.something/notes per second. I remember it was weird that it was both 7’s. Made it an easy thing to remember if you weren’t trying to be exact.
Someone said (truth?) that it took her 3 months to learn to this level
Good review! ‘Beethoven needs to come back to life to see her’.
There's a video from a couple that go by Kel N' Rich where they react to this. Kel was raised on Classical Music and was a concert pianist. Her reaction is priceless!! Please just watch their reaction. Sorry that I'm late to the party.
Thanks!
First I loved your cover of Lara’s Adagio - it was good to see a rock version of it.
Can’t wait to see Lara live in concert in 2 weeks.
Tina Setkic is french and she was 17 when she did this video, 6 years ago. This was her last upload. A legion of fans await her return, she still has about 1M subscribers on her YT channel.
Her 3 best covers where she adds more feeling and emotions are IMHO:
- Altitudes (Jason Becker)
- For the Love of God (Steve Vai)
- The Loner (Gary Moore)
Her guitar teacher said she is a simply a genius and he teached to quite a few talented guitarists (eg Daniela Villareal from The Warning)
Agree about her emotions in Altitudes!
'the warning'....LOL!
If she ever comes back with a new video... that video will go viral for sure ❤️ Insane this girl 😳😳😳
8 years of practice, awesome 😎
Yes, definitely"for the love of God"so just how masterful she is
I love your song "Spring". I listened to it on youtube when I was driving and I immediately had to hear it again.
Yes every time I see her play she is like I got this and she masteresit even when she puts her own tuch in it
The song in question is difficult to play even on the piano without mistakes and Tina S plays it perfectly on the guitar
She's around 15 to 17 years old she just amazing
What witchcraft is this??? I am in AWE. What a genius she is with a guitar. Next Level. Have a great day Anastasia.
Hey Anastasia ! She's back on track with a band ! Just got the news ! 🤗🤗🤗
Classical music on an electrical guitar was Jimi Hendrix' future plan back then. Tina is THE guitar player to take over from Jimi. I would buy all the albums she would make playing that kind of music. It took her 2 months to reach such mastery of that piece. I checked many other interpretations of the same song by other guitarists, none comes even close to her. Tina forever.
Her cover of Gary Moore's The Loner is absolutely stunning. One of her best.
I just recently found that one :
LOVEBITES Miyako「The LONER」Gary Moore Piano Cover

interesting since she of course already made guitar covers like Parisienne Walkways :

Hey, you should definitely check out Tina setkic dragon Force Through The Fire and The Flames cover at 15 years old awesome thanks requesting 🔥😎
That was a reaction to Tina and something!
Tina S also performs a Vivaldi tribute, by the way. She also is now in a band called Spin Twice.
Your right, this girl, Tina S, is a guitar goddess
Just to let you all know that she is back ! On her channel !
Ive been watching her a few years and what always struck me is how she is properly playing pure Spanish pose . I don't know where she's from but her stance is Spanish. Thanks Anastasia. Really enjoyed.
spanish pose, HAHAHAHAHA LOL !! No, CLASSICAL POSE ! She is French.
You have not been watching her 'a few years' because she hasnt put anything up in 7 years lol! Her positioning is for classical guitar. Hush.
"This girl deserves a fucking crown" 🤣 I agree +1
You have a great voice Anastasia
she just updated her page and has a band now
best reaction i'v seen
Your passion for great music and metal has me subbing in 3..2..1...SUBBED!!!
The difference between European background and American background in music is that even if they’re into death metal, they still know their classical. Here in America, I blew my friends mind when he asked if I could name ten composer’s. I started alphabetically and he stopped me when I was around 15 in the G’s. Most of my friends couldn’t name 5.
She has a band called Spin Twice, check her out on RUclips!
There is much more to come!
Nice reaction. So now it would be naturally to look up her amazing "Vivaldi tribute" =0)
What's more amazing besides her practicing and guitar skills, she is also academic with the law school. How does one's brain absorb all that that's such a young age
Some people are smarter than the rest of us. There’s ppl with eidetic memorys. Meaning, they never forget anything they see or hear. But there are ppl with that ability but aren’t smart I.Q. wise. So, they can’t read a book on quantum mathematics and then be a math whiz. You have to be able to understand what you read.
@@frankiek2269 you could tell the way she plays without even looking it's all by memory muscle
@@Deb-ex9st she is also academic with the law school ?????? HAHAHAHAHAHA LOL ! Tina in a law school !!! Where ?? In which city ??
I didn't know that Telecom SudParis was a law school !!!!
Télécom SudParis is a major public engineering school, focused on information and communication technologies, in Evry, 30 km south of Paris.
Télécom SudParis is part of the Institut Mines-Télécom, an organization for higher education, research and innovation in information and communication science and technology.
@@Deb-ex9st You know nothing, be quiet.
Because of the internet, she could release an album and start a tour, but I think she has higher aspirations.
IDK if she’s planning to upload anything since 2017 or not, but she recently changed her profile pick on YT to an updated one.
🤣 Thank you for the offer 😯...but seriously, Tina S. is as good as they come 🤯...so good with her hands and attention to details! 😁 Nothing is better than when an artist combines two different styles of music! If you like guitar, have you checked out Stevie Ray Vaughn yet? VOODOO CHILD OR TEXAS FLOOD to start with? Love your channel and Your Music, though I'm new here! 😃
She started at 8 years old on acoustic guitar and later electric guitar.
A little wrong. Her brother was already in music school. She started playing at 4. Started classical lessons at 6. Started rock lessons at 12-13.
Even she is not active and hasnt been for a long time i bet she checks reactions on her stuff an chuckles. ;)
I love you girl, more please. Until next time stay well
Renaud Louis-Servais, her teacher at this times (and the one who makes the videos as well) has been recently asked in the comments on another react video, about how long she had worked on this Moonlight Sonata.
He didn't remember exactly if it was.... two or three months..... insane.... 😮 😂
Damn, I never got any notifications about this upload or the Diana duet with Brandon. You have quite the fun rabbit hole to go down with Tina S. She stands alone. Herman Li once reacted to her playing Through the Fire and Flames on stream and his reaction was essentially to the tune of "Holy Shit".
She likes to use those pinch harmonics a lot and I guess it must be pretty difficult at the same time with all the tapping and crazy speed of this song. It would be pretty difficult even without any pinch harmonics.
🔥🔥
She stopped performing on RUclips several years ago when she reached approximately 17 years old. Now you have to listen to either LiSa X or Asterism, great musicians.
ASTERISM = HAL-CA
And Lovebites
@@0ParisFrance Miyako & Midori are out of this world…
@@0ParisFrance I only mentioned those two as they are also young guitarists. Otherwise would have mentioned others such as Band Maid, Nemophila, Mary's Blood etc.
Тина́ S - космос! С нетерпением жду от неё собственной музыки, потенциал есть!
Awesome video anastasia luna you rock 🐥chick
You are looking at one of God's greatest creations!
“Roll Over, Beethoven “
😅
VIRTUOSE
Virtuoso
Also, Tina S did do a Vivaldi bit, although it was a ways back, probably when she was around 14 (I know, everyone did that, amiright...............lol)
14 and 5 months
You should definitely do for the love of god but you should definitely do altitudes too like omg it’s soooooo beautiful
She knows Dream theater
This is the only group she has met! And again, it's because her brother insisted, she doesn't care, she refused to meet Van Halen, Pink Floyd and DragonForce! She must have a brain problem!!
she is only 16 years old and she "s the best
I've seen Eddie Van Halen play Eruption, I've seen her play Eruption also, but for technique, EVH couldn't hold a candle against Tina in my own opinion! She is way more inclusive and concise.
10:41 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I am writing from Turkey. I saw it when I was about to turn off the laptop. I saw what it means to have an orgasm with a guitar, it was an incredible performance. Thank you. Actually, Anneke Van Giersbergen and Tarja Turunen videos are my priority. But I am open to new flavors. By the way, she made a wonderful arpeggio, it's incredible, keep listening :) Your new fan is Gülay from Turkey :)
Herman Li has an open invitation for her to hang out, jam, or perform with Dragon Force!!
And Tina S refused.
Check out Cradle of Filth nymphétamine first good harmony
Synked nisley thanks
Hi, Anastasia.
I know this is going into public domain but I want to start by saying that your openness and honesty is so overwhelming that I could almost literally feel you touching me. It's a feeling that I don't think I have ever experienced in this way before...but I want you to know that I love it and it sits well with me. Your comments are likewise - straight down the line. What you say is what you feel and is what your listening get/receive. You have lovely and worthy fans who appreciate you much, especially for you much valued input on and about the very many artists, whether groups, bands or individuals. From the very beginning I knew that I could (and I still do) trust your opinions on any of the individual artists or bands.
Now, I would like to ask you a big favor, I have not come across you reacting to additional song covers, in particular done by Tina S that were suggested by some of your follower in the past. Please check out For the love of God, Altitudes, The Loner, Arpeggios From Hell. There are about sixteen covers in total that Tina has done, but as I and a few other of your fans have, these we feel should be part of your Tina S reaction collection.
I want to thank you in anticipation...
Tina ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love your voice; I'll check out more of your music. You should check out ALL of the Tina S compilations/covers. They are all out-freakin-rageous - not a lie. The Jason Becker cover is particularly mesmerizing and the Steve Vai cover is almost better than the original, but you have to watch/listen.
Anastasia luna you are amazing singer with your beautiful voice and magnificent vocals you rock chick 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 ANASTASIA LUNA 🇬🇧🇬🇧 QUEEN OF METAL 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Did you ever see, for the love of God cover from Tina S?
This arrangement for electric guitar was first made and played by Dr Viossy: ruclips.net/video/MZuSaudKc68/видео.html
She studied him well.
Thanks to her teacher Renaud LOUIS-SERVAIS who filmed this video.
Have you reacted to FOR THE LOVE OF GOD cover she did?
Hahaha best reaction ever "AWE FFFFFUCK ME!" that's exactly my thought every time I watch her casually bang this out. Want to feel even more batshit crazy over this? She hung up the guitar and went into BUSINESS instead LOL. That's like if Michael Jordan stopped after college ball and was like "nah Ima be an accountant instead" ROFL!
You have to listen to Altitudes by Jason Becker it’s a must please she has an array of wonderful covers yours truly Derek Petersen in Pearland Tx my beauty Queen
you is singer,,,,,,you can find 黃霄雲 🤭🤭🤭
Ктогда кто-то думает, что у него не получится что-то сделать - просто смотрим видео с каверами Тины Сеткис. Думаю все у вас выйдет! Она вдохновляет!!!
She was bullied and trolled so bad by immature jealous males who couldn't stand that she was that great, so she stopped making RUclips videos which is everybody's lost because of her art.
HAHAHAHAHA LOL! You don't know Tina S and her character !!
Tina interview:
"The comments of the jealous and the haters and trolls do not interest me, I don't care, they do not know the music and the guitar, they are unknows.
It is only the reactions of the professionals that interest me, and I thank Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Dragonforce, Dream Theater, Jason Becker, Steve Vai for their congratulatory tweets!"
TINA INTERVIEW MTV NEWS :
- QUESTION : Several million views of your videos on RUclips, how do you feel?
- TINA : When I put my videos online, I really don't expect them to be so successful. It's true that at the time it's a little intimidating when you see the number of views, comments, encouragement, compliments,
even if it is true that I sometimes come across a few not very nice hateful comments, and jealous, but I don't care, that's the internet.
I think Beethoven would think the electric guitar it harsh sounding and hard on the ears and looses the subtleness of the music, I'm sure he was very particular about his music.
I think that note number 1742 was a little late, will never listen to her again! Seriously though, stunning, hats off to her and the hours she put in
sadly, Tina S left the guitar to go to college. Her talent is un believable..I hope she returns.
Tina S left the guitar ???? HAHAHA ? NO, Going to college does not prevent you from playing the guitar!!!
There are a lot of musicians and bands in the colleges!!
After the Moonlight Sonata Tina S bought a new Vigier guitar : An Excalibur Supraa HSH RockArt at 4000 € !! And it's not for hanging on the wall.
@@0ParisFrance You seem to know her very well, so perhaps you could give us some news ? Nobody knows what she's doing now, but with such an incredible talent, it would be incredible not to perform in a band or on stage. She wanted to leave celebrity, that's her choice, maybe just play for her pleasure. But I don't think we'll see her again...
I didn’t see any mention that she is from France, but her nationality has no bearing on her musicianship. I just wish she hadn’t dropped from sight.
She was born in France, in ÉVRY, 30 km south of Paris, the capital. Her parents are Yugoslav immigrants.
Anastasia Luna, for her Vivaldi cover Tina S was 14 y.o. and for Beethoven cover she was 17 y.o. and 4 months.
Take again Alip ba ta Turkish march cover by him tank you .
She stopped playing and went to uni I believe, doesn't play right now
The university bans playing the guitar? Even during the 2 month holidays in the summer ??
Hi, Tina got tired of the "haters" from YT and dissapeard .....stopped making videos. Unfortunately for all of us. She's so telanted. Hope some day she will come back. Love from Portugal

a good advice. listen to NINA HAGEN. an opera singer who grew up in rock music.
Tina is 14 years old in this video. She was 15 in the dragon force cover. She started playing at 8 years of age.
14 in this video ????? HAHAHAHA LOL ! Why are you lying ????
Tina S born in 1999, this video is 2016 !! In French 2016-1999 = 17 !!!
DragonForce she was 15 and 11 months in March 2015 !!
She hasn’t posted anything on her RUclips channel in a few years she may have gone to college or something.

She has other amazing work. But when she finished high school she quit youtube to concentrate on college.
Which college ? Where ? In which city ? The name of her college ? In which section ? Thank you for your answer.
tina s is a french self tought guitarist who start doing some video a very young age she start learning guitare at 8 yo and on this piece she is about 17 so she isq a genius for sure but du to a shitstorm she decided to stop to make video and dhe had focus on her studies and she is now 22 yo and get back in the normal life sorry that she dont have a band for sure
IDIOT !!!! self tought guitarist ???????????????????? NO, Tina learned the guitar at the CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC !!
she is now 22 yo ?????????????? NO, 2022 - 1999 = 23 yo, NOT 22 !!!

She just makes really good guitar players seem mediocre... That's it!
I love Tina S, and I really liked your review, but please, please drop the "f" word. It's both unnecessary and unbecoming. You showed enough passion without it.
Tina touring ????? HAHAHAHAHA lol she is just a schoolgirl not a professional, no band !

@@0ParisFrance What's so funny?
@@0ParisFrance An American bachelor's degree may be rated as equivalent to a licence. Certain institutions consider it equivalent to two or three years' study towards a DUT, BTS, or licence. This may, in turn, qualify the student for application to a master's degree program in a French institution. The institution will rate its equivalency on a case-by-case basis.
