She's a guitar goddess. She's 17 years old here. Amazing. Pure guitar. No speed riffs to to confuse the ear. She puts action on every note. A virtuoso like David Gilmour or Santana. That's what it's all about about..
I am still waiting to see your reaction to "Altitudes" by Jason Becker. I think it is one of Tina's best!
Not only is she incredibly virtuosic, her taste in guitar players and songs to cover is top shelf!

Not so many guitar players at this level can be found. I like the way she doesn't show feelings on her face but at the same time she makes the guitar sing and cry.
That head movement ...no no, no... we all do it for not believing what you are seeing and hearing (and in my case, the tears)
It's just another class. So effortless.

The most beautiful & loneliest of the Loners, imo. As a follower & promoter (such as it was) of Tina from when she was 13, I am gratified to see the second wave of appreciation which now values her true worth. It warms my heart.
Not one of her flashiest pieces, but for me this is the cream of the crop. How anyone can wring that kind of emotion out of a chunk of wood and steel is completely beyond comprehension.
She's just so beautiful to watch and listen ... love you Tina , tu es magnifique .

You know where to find her stuff. Two best she ever did, in my opinion: Jason Becker, and Dream Theater. This and Beethoven close behind, but those are just mind blowing.
I am sticking to my story. At that point she was the best on the planet. If ya know anyone better please share them...

Some guitar players look like they are giving birth when they play, others are more like Tina and just let the guitar show the emotion. Example of this would be Michael Schenker who pretty much doesn't move while playing stuff good guitar players only dream of playing...
You wonder at what point her teacher just gave up and said you're better than me, sorry, can't help you any more. (Saw an interview where she talked about her instructor so I know she had one)

----- QUESTION : Why did you choose the Excalibur Special Mysterious Green?
*** TINA : I chose this guitar because it suits me perfectly. The Excalibur Special meets all my technical criteria in addition to having a dream aesthetic, with the neck, pickups and woods combined, it's just the complete package.
----- QUESTION : What are the biggest changes from your Excalibur Custom?
*** TINA : The big difference is in the sound of the microphones. My Excalibur Custom has Seymour Duncan pickups while this new guitar has DiMarzio pickups. These are more aggressive pickups, which have a higher output and I like that.
For the neck, the huge difference lies in the feel of the fingerboard. I have indeed opted for a rosewood fingerboard for my Special and the sensations of touch are very interesting. The bridge is also changed, the tuning stability is simply brilliant, the ease of use is also a winner compared to the Floyd Rose of my Excalibur Custom ...
In short, a lot of things have changed between the two models!
----- QUESTION : Why Vigier?
*** TINA : Vigier is above all a brand of guitar of exceptional quality. Each model produced has specifications that we cannot find anywhere else. If you really want to perform well, you have to have 100% reliable equipment, that's what made me choose Vigier.

She played The Loner with her brand new guitar in June 2014. Construction began on her guitar in February 2014 and finish in June.

Check out Taj Farrant doing the Gary Moore cover of Parisienne Walkways. He was 10 at the time he did it. He's the youngest guitar player to be sponsored by Gibson guitar. The kid is 11 now and has written and released his first song called Just Can't Sleep. He also has a great guitar face. You can tell he feels what he plays. When he was on Ellen he told her he sometimes cries when he plays.
I gotta say she reminds me so much of Miyako, same characteristics in their guitar playing with no facial expressions but damn it they are freaking good. It is a crying shame that no one has picked her up to be a part of a band and hear her do her thing instead of doing covers, since 2016 she has not been seen or heard of again.
