My twists have been in for just over a month and I'm starting to have to re-twist 2-3 twists a day. I'm giving these 2-3 more weeks until I am forced to take them out. I might re-twist the front 10 and leave them in for another month. I love them though and will be doing them again in a heartbeat.
Sooo I kept mine in a month...and prob could have kept them in longer....i box braided my natural hair like 3-4 inches then twisted the remainder of my hair....and THEN crocheted the hair in...my hair didnt peak out, they were secure....but I used KeKe J's method....I dont know a lot of people who use her method.
I love this hairstyle! I haven’t had my hair done for YEARS! Talking youth age. Then after a couple of pregnancies and adult life, I just need a hair-cation. I decided to do it myself and it took FOREVER the first time. But the second time went faster. Only about 4 hours plus parting. Each time I learn more and it gets better, but yeah…it definitely does not last long. My hair is super thick and curly and my hairs just pop right on out. The smaller sections definitely do better.
This is the first time I’ve done passion twist and I’ve only had them for 3 days and the hair is already popping out in some places which frustrates me because I want to have them in for a couple more weeks :(
Unfortunately but fortunately my hair grows extremely slow. I’ve been able to keep Various large 2 strand twist hairstyles for a month. They could keep longer but, I’m not into going more than 3-4 weeks in braid/twists/locks.
Yeah .. if it dosent last as long as Knotless box braids .. I don’t want it anymore .. thankfully I’m watching this video now because I’m getting my hair done tomorrow ..
Literally doing passion twists in this moment and my hair is already popping out the ends 🥴. I’m transitioning and my ends are relaxed so maybe that has something to do with it. I’m annoyed but it’s too late to turn back smh
This is the third video on pros and cons of these twist and no one talks about washing them or being able to swim with them. I really want to know if you can wash your hair with these??????
When I twist; I wrap fake hair 2-3 times around sectioned hair (holding hair as tightly as possible) then braid (real hair in the middle) for 2/3-inch; then part real hair in two and two strand twist with fake hair (I use Queen Helena hair). Have worn it for 2 months and can wash the hair. If it slips; can redo twist and retain most of the length (don't blow dry hair straight 2 out in and have tight s pattern to my hair). The Queen Helena hair is a tight curl and only shoulder length. Can style like box braids.
I definitely hate that I paid for this style. My hair started peaking through the same day. It’s very neat at the root but the hair in the twists is poking out 😩
I'm going to do this style this week. Do you think yours didn't last as long because you have softer hair? I'm just wondering if it's easier for softer hair to unravel from the pt hair easier.
my only struggle was my hair slides/slips easily and is more fine that bri's which is why my braids at the root didn't last as long! next time I might try it without stretching my hair as much.
Hi! I’m not sure if you or anyone will see this comment. I hope so! I got passion twists today and as the day progressed, I realized they are just too thick. I can’t even get it into a proper pony tail. They are 18 inch. And the stylist used 2 pieces from the pack of hair to each twist. Any suggestions on taming them down and making them more thin?
the only thing i can think of is the stylist using less hair per twist, i am not sure if you can make them thinner post-install unless maybe you dip them in hot water, but i am not sure id recommend that because it would mess with the curl pattern
@@SlimReshae thanks.. I want to try these twist bc their lighter and my hair is fine but im going to ask them not to use any jam- nothing. My hair is a silky texture anyway. Do you think this would help with build up?
I've heard people say you should soak whatever hair you get Before with avc, water and then shampoo it ? Because hair itches, how long do you soak it ?

yours have lasted long! thanks for sharing!

Michelle Rodgers I used her method too, mine lasted like 6 weeks
girl this hairstyle is a game changer! so much new growth and ZERO tension.
thanks for this feedback! that's dope, mine lasted for a month and I couldve went longer too!
amen!
I did the Keke J method too. I love them so much. Simple for me to do and it makes me feel polished. ❤
Yes... 3 strand twist... let's see it!! 🤗
🤗🤗🤗

I got mine in hair growing back braids slip every once a while
I’m so glad you talked about the longevity. It’s been almost a month and I’m already tryna get them out. I thought it was me. 😂
I would love to see the three strand passion twist tutorial!!
It’s simple just like the normal method except have three separate pieces for the three strand twists
I definitely want to try the 3 strand twist, my passion twist didn’t last at all i tried to keep them in for like 2 months
whew, 2 monthssssss sis? passion twists aint built for that lol but yasss im considering trying a method doing 3strand twist
Yessss do a 3 strand tutorial and see how long they last
This is the first time I’ve done passion twist and I’ve only had them for 3 days and the hair is already popping out in some places which frustrates me because I want to have them in for a couple more weeks :(
Just going to have to buy the crochet ones
Braid the roots
I tried go do them they were a fail then I tried doing it mixed with Marley hair and it was cute but I lost the curl quickly (they were chunky)
the hair you use makes an impact on how it turns out for sure!
I failed on my first try lol I’m definitely going to try marley Hair next time
I’d like to see the 3 strand method. Any resources with how to part the hair? I haven’t done anything more complicated with my hair than a bun 😂
i am considering doing the 3 strand method for sure!
I would love to see you do faux locs or goddess locs, whatever!
have you seen my chunky faux loc tutorial? ruclips.net/video/z5rqW2doY_U/видео.html
Let’s see the 3-strand method!! 😍😍

Thank You! THE BEST video I've seen on this topic so far!!!!
Glad it was helpful!
I would like to check out the 3 strand tutorial for passion twist and a follow up if you wouldn't mind. Thanks for this info.
i will definitely consider doing this !
Had mine in for almost a month and a half then wore them in a bun for 2 weeks to last it to 2 months
okurrrrr
Unfortunately but fortunately my hair grows extremely slow. I’ve been able to keep Various large 2 strand twist hairstyles for a month. They could keep longer but, I’m not into going more than 3-4 weeks in braid/twists/locks.
Thank you, I about to try putting passion twist in for the first time. Question can you wash your hair when you have passion twist in?
I wish I would’ve watched this before getting them!! Mine are not lasting 3 weeks. I spent way too much money
They last two months and I did a one strand twist
This video came just in time!
Yes I would like like to see the three strand twist method
i will definitely consider doing a video on this/testing it out!
Yeah .. if it dosent last as long as Knotless box braids .. I don’t want it anymore .. thankfully I’m watching this video now because I’m getting my hair done tomorrow ..
Almost tried those last summer their really pretty
thank you!
@slimreshae you never did a 3strand passion twist tutorial, can you please do one
Would love to see the 3 strand method
Literally doing passion twists in this moment and my hair is already popping out the ends 🥴. I’m transitioning and my ends are relaxed so maybe that has something to do with it. I’m annoyed but it’s too late to turn back smh
you got this!
Yes relaxed hair seems to come out faster
Plus nobody ever says wht they using for thm to stay twisted. They keep unraveling 🙄
Awe ☺️ am just surprised the way you reply every comments 😍.. you look gorgeous 😍
you are so prettyyy girl
thanks love!
You are sooo Beautiful Love!! 😍😍 Your hair still looks good though!
Thank you so much!!
She's gorgeous.
Girl! Your make up is flawless! What brand are you wearing?
thank you + I don't remember... lol my bad.
This is the third video on pros and cons of these twist and no one talks about washing them or being able to swim with them. I really want to know if you can wash your hair with these??????
sorry, i dont typically wear my styles long enough to need to wash them + i cant swim lol

oh noooo
Which method is the best
Hi Reshae! Do you think I can achieve this same style with these passion twists traditionally twisted in? And will it last longer? Thanks
i am not sure if itll last any longer or not.
Girllll....you're glowy. Tips😄
lol thanks love!
Would love to see the 3 strand passion twist
Thanks for the tips….??? What is the best hair for short spring twist
youre welcome and ive never done short spring twists so im not sure
What is the difference between Senegalese twist and passion twist
i have 3 strand twist
I'm going to do this style this week. Do you think yours didn't last as long because you have softer hair? I'm just wondering if it's easier for softer hair to unravel from the pt hair easier.
my hair isn't super soft, but for those who have soft hair it probably doesnt last long
@@SlimReshae Wht do u put on ur twist for thm too stay twisted. Mines keep unraveling…
It might also be the kind of hair that you're using. Bri Hall kept hers in for I think 8 weeks.
my only struggle was my hair slides/slips easily and is more fine that bri's which is why my braids at the root didn't last as long! next time I might try it without stretching my hair as much.
@@SlimReshae gotcha. That makes a lot of sense. My hair type is 4c and so I probably won't have the same problem.
@@adambata4667 oh yeah yours will probably hold goodt. lol

I want to learn how to do 3 strand twist
i haven't done a tutorial for that... hmmm... i might need to add to my video idea list
Can you sweat/workout in these and then they will be alright?
i didnt workout in these but you should be fine. you'll probably be hot in them tho.
How did you do the high ponytail?
i flipped my head upside down and wrapped two twists around all the hair to make the high pony.
I want them but when i had twist for two weeks and had so much build up i lost a ton of hair!! Maybe it was all the jam the lady used
omg im sorry that happened to you!
@@SlimReshae thanks.. I want to try these twist bc their lighter and my hair is fine but im going to ask them not to use any jam- nothing. My hair is a silky texture anyway. Do you think this would help with build up?
What do you use instead of jam
You’re so pretty
thank you!
Can you wash these twists or will your own hair twisted in become visible and big ?
I am not sure, I didn't wash them when I had it in
No
Have you use human hair braiding for passion twist or spring twist?
i usually use synthetic
I have seen other videos where they did wear them for 2 months
its all your preference and how you install them!
You're so pretty
thank you!
Do passion twists cut hair
I kept mine in for like 2 months lol
Was it mini passion twist or large? I’m about to get mine
Can I wear crochet braids twists braids very small but not to big
you can do whatever you want!
I've heard people say you should soak whatever hair you get Before with avc, water and then shampoo it ? Because hair itches, how long do you soak it ?
I didn't soak this hair, I think that's for kanekalon? im not sure but this one wasn't itchy.
@@SlimReshae what hair did you use?
What about the length of the twist?
the length doesn't pay too much of a role unless you are constantly styling or putting up your hair if its longer
Can you go swimming with passion twist??
i dont swim like that but if you do id recommend the rubber band method
The crochet kind might last longer
Girl fck the passion twist....first thing i said was this chick gorgeous asf lmaooo 😁😘
lol thanks ashlee !
New subbie🙂
welcome to the #GemSquad !!!! happy new year!
This is probably not a good idea for a water type of vacation huh? I'm glad I watched this video first.
i would recommend doing the rubber band method because it'll be more secure in the water!
TY Pretty Lady
can you reuse the hair?
I haven't reused it
I had my twist for three months...
nice
Girl that is amazing! That’s the longest I’ve heard. What did you do to have them last that long? Rubber band? Plat at the root?
Does quality of hair matter??
yes, mainly the curl pattern matters because its synthetic. human/virgin hair will always be better
Do the 3 strand tutorial please
Also does the the type of hair plays a factor
yes, the quality of hair matters!
Thank you
My hair coming out the twists is driving me nuts
Make sure you use that twist and lock gel that kept mine from popping out
@@SlimReshae so u saying use the twist lock gel?? I just need thm to stay twisted!!
Jus get the crochet style..
you could, if you like crochet styles!
@@SlimReshae yeah that's what I have in right now
this video is a hot met lolol
