This is how I’ve been installing my braids & twists. I braid the roots then install the hair with a crochet hook. It’s a simple way to install the hair without breaking it off using rubber bands and it’s good for people like myself who struggle to grip my roots.
This is also how I do my braids so it's making me think I would do a pretty decent job of the passion twists. I'm certainly going to give this a try but will order 16 or 22 inches because all that twisting making my arm hurt just watching let alone thinking about me doing it myself
I’m so glad I found this method because I’ve tried the rubber bands once and tbh I realised that using them is not protective when taking them out!! So thank you! Great tutorial ❤
I just want to say this is the first tutorial that my hair came out like the video. I used the link for the hair. It’s legit the best. Thank youuuuuu. 👌🏾
My daughter always wants these new braids that come out. Me as a Mom that aims to please I always find a tutorial to learn how to do it. I get terrible pains in my hands and legs…and it may take many long hours but we just watch movies talk and chill. I refuse to pay $$$. This is the next new style and I can’t wait!🤗
You’re videos are absolutely amazing. You truly have a talent for teaching and breaking things down. You have taught me how to apply make up and fix my hair; speaking as someone who had no feminine teachers to show her these skills I want to thank you. Watching your videos and applying your techniques has helped build my confidence. Thank you.
I did this method and they came out beautiful! And you were right parting larger squares definitely sped up the process. And because I used crochet hair the twist stayed together. I’m glad I found this video because water wave use to irritate me it would always unravel or not all the twist look juicy. Next time I think I’m going to separate my twist the day before to speed up the process.
@@iamsyrah i mean the smaller and longer it is, yes $250 is worth it but NOT for a style thats lasting under two weeks…that person simply sounds like a wack stylist lol
Did this on my daughters hair last night and it was perfect! The hair is very soft and easy to work with as well. Thanks again! Sharing the video with friends.
I just washed and parted my hair and braided it so tomorrow I'll put the twist in I'll take a picture when I'm done thanks so much for this way to do passion twists
So cute Always coat rubber bands with oil. It helps when taking down and a little protection from the rubber. The edge wax is what i chose and i see a difference ❤ Great job sis
Wow! Your hair looks amazing. Thanks so much for explaining how you used the crochet needle and pulled the hair through the loop. That's where I was stuck. Now I feel like I can do this style. I just ordered everything, so we'll see how it goes. Thanks again, love.
@@thewalkingmic5 My style turned out great, but I didn't even use the crochet needle. I just braided the hair in a little and twisted it down using the Black Castor Oil Braid and Loc Twist Gel. It turned out amazing. I did the style 3 times since this video. Now, I'm taking a break from it.
First, your brows are perfect lol. Second, I think I’ll be following this method. I prepped some hair a while ago and lost the motivation to do the style. But I need to get it done.
I'm glad I kept looking at these videos. Love Slim R's technique! My hair is thin(ing), fine and breaks off easily. I feel like this will be the best way for me to try to do mine.
Everything about this video is 👍 From the twists to the makeup to her voice, errythangg!!! I have a family photoshoot tomorrow so I was going to spend 160.00 to get this done. After this tutorial.imma be saving me 160.00 baby. BIG THANKS 😊 🙏
I did this right after watching this video and it WORKED so easily, as this is the first time I’ve ever done my own passion twists, let alone my own braids, and it only took me 4 QUICK hours to do this. If I could upload a pic I WOULD. You are a life saver babe. Thx so much!
I got passion twist done by a stylist and paid $150 for them and it was not worth it. This video was so helpful definitely going to redo my hair this weekend!
I know I’m late to the passion twist game. I’ve never put braids or any type of extensions ir weave on my hair. I’m going to try installing them myself and don’t want to use rubber bands because my hair already has breakage. Your video, especially with the close up of the technique, is the most precise on the no rubber band method and has given me the confidence I need. Thank you!! P.S., you are beautiful
Yes! My hair is very fine so I was looking for a way to not use rubber bands or start off with a braid cause it definitely looks thin at the top. This is the perfect solution. Thanks!
@@lashellstansbury4275 depends for me the longer I had them in the better they looked but max it’s probably 3 months if you really want to but they start to get warm out after a month or two
