I went to the comments at about 2 minutes into this video, because I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH THIS VIDEO WAS NEEDED! Then I saw all of the other comments with people thanking you, and was like nah.... she doesn't need another thank you from me, but I was like shoot...YES SHE DOES! I AM THANKFUL, because I can spend 30 mins or more on trying to figure out where to place the next braid, or twist, etc.. Be done watched 30 videos trying to find somebody who will show the back of their hair without all that talking and posing to figure out something! My hat is off to you, because this video right here, so simple just saved me so much time. This comes from a mom of twin 11 year old girls who both wants to slay at school on the same day! LOL... (No more, I'll do yours tomorrow!) Thanks again for sharing.
This tutorial was very much needed! It doesn't matter that your parts were not straight what matters is that you showed us the technique and how to do it
I’m knee deep in parting my hair right now & I’ve had to come back to this video at least 4 times already bc I keep getting confused lol but I’m getting through it! Thank you so much for this!
True! Its so Satisfying! Im so glad i found her video. My granny told me over years i should do braids because she knows how i steuggle with my Hair and she Loved her braids when she was Young so i give It a try 😊😊
Chantella ❤ glad i read this. I was thinking Ik what I was doing and that is exactly what I was about to do! 😂 it didn’t register to me that my braids wouldn’t fall how they should.
@@taniadavis4541 😂😂 it’s okay!! I put jewels and gold strings in my head so no one notices 💀. I’ve finally gotten a little bit better at parting, so I have faith in you lol!
I watched this video 5x while trying to just part my hair for the passion twists and it took me almost 2 hours because it was hard to get mines as neat but thank you for this tutorial. It was so helpful
I am SO GLAD I ran across this tutorial. You did an awesome job and I was glad you explained the struggle and frustration that can come with the process. WAY TO GO!!! I saw you passion twists tutorial as well and I am going to try it out VERY SOON!!! THANK YOU!
So this is really smart. I saw the passion twist on pinterest and decided to try them this weekend. That being said, I needed to find a video to show me how to do it. I've come across a few but yours was by far the easiest so I'm rocking with it. I will be sure to let you know how it went. Thanks in advance young lady.
see...I love a good SIMPLE video..a lot of youtubers don't do just the smallest things in their videos and now we lost on how to something as small as parting the hair for the style we looking at. thank you! lol you made this style look so easy to follow and it actually looks fun to try!
ooohhh girl I'm glad I clicked on this video on because just watching your other one I didn't realize how much smaller your head was than mine. I was about to play myself getting 7 packs lmaooo
When you get to the top section from the ears up, to make things A LOTTT easier and less stressful is to split that section down the middle and do one side at a time. It’s much easier to match the lines up
I was kinda hoping she'd show how she did the top part lol I need all the help I can get since Imma try this in the morning. But now that you say that about parting it down the middle, I can see where I can try and match the lines from the back. Thank you! I'll try my best.
Thank you soooo much boo for making this vid it was VERY HELPFUL and I will be following this method I just paid $180 to get my box braids done never again 🙅🏾♀️
Its hard for me to differentiate my lefts from my rights tbh. So when I look in a mirror, I get seriously confused. I have to look away from the mirror to get it right.... ....which defeats the purpose of a mirror. Pray for me. 😑
I just braided my hair for the first time but could have parted my hair better. I wished I would have found this video before I started. But now I know when I do my second attempt.
So glad you said you got frustrated! I always feel like I’m the only one who gets agitated when doing their hair. Now I feel less like the Hulk and more like a human. 🙏🏽
Omg thank you gurl!! I feel like nobody does these types of videos! Also the fact that you (in both the crochet passion twist video and this one) let us know how long it takes and how many packs you use! Nicely done they look soo good❤️❤️
I wish I watched this video before I finish with my parting. This video would have made it look 100x better. I will do this the next time I box braid my hair. thank youuu
For this to be your third time you did a good job. I'm trying to build up the courage to do mines. I'm working on my patience. I'm going to try to do my own passion twist for my family reunion in July. I got time to practice.
Thank you for this. Every time i try to do big sections i make them smaller and it makes everything take longer. Definetly using this when i follow your passion twist tutorial
s, I wonder if using rubber braids for box braids is the new thing now. Back in the 90s, I used to keep my braided and twisted, but no one ever used a rubber band to do them. Honestly, it was always said that it was bad for our hair. I recently got my hair braided. The girl used rubber bands. I didn't even know that she had used them until pieces of rubber started coming from my braids and the rubber bands began to show. It looked really good at first though. Thanks for the part tutorial. My hair is natural now, and I'm in the process of growing it back out. Eventually, I want to twist my own hair without extensions. Going to someone is great, but funds are tight sometimes. Oh, btw, I own that brand o edge control and it is 🔥🔥🔥!
Gurrrllllll! Thank you for this. I’ve only ever some box braids once 6 years ago. Now I have a son and I’m looking for an easy way and this was so simple and easy to follow. You’re amazing and super gorgeous ❤️🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Can I use that ‘olive edge control hair gel’ to slick back my hair for braiding like your doing in the video before you braid the section, and be able to use it as if it were normal hair gel? Or would that leave that dry crunchy hair residue after leaving it alone for awhile, like that got2b hair gel??
Great job on the paring, I have trouble with spacing in the top of my head , any recommendations? Also I just Love the Color on your nails is it a light purple, or some type of pink? Thank you for your time, have a Blessed Day 🙋🏽♀️🙌🏽😍🥰🥰👀👀👀👀👀👀😞💇🏽♀️💁🏽♀️🥰🥰🥰🥰
This is the best parting video I have ever seen . Thank you lol . I just wish you would have gone all the way through because the top is always the hardest for me 😭
You're the only youtuber I've came across that does a video on how they part they whole head. Most just do the front or just take down a few braids on the side
After making your section with the rubber bands do you keep the rubber bands in or take them out before braiding? I never braided my hair in small sections before. Thanks.
I'm glad somebody made a video on how to part lol
😂RIGHT SISSS
EXACTLY LOL
Hollering!!!!!
Now all we gotta do is borrow her fingers cause I still can’t do it
Riiiiiiightttt!!!

Euriale Pridgen Good luck !!!
Aww good luck Dad ♥️♥️
Exactly bro she skipped the part I was most confused about 😂
I’m famous for accidentally lining my parts up and having one long ass part down the middle of my head where the braids never fall 😂😂😔
Chantella ❤ glad i read this. I was thinking Ik what I was doing and that is exactly what I was about to do! 😂 it didn’t register to me that my braids wouldn’t fall how they should.
So I just did it today! Did my whole head only to have a big azz part in the back!!! I WISH I had watched this video earlier!! LOL

Parting and sectioning my hair is so hard for me! I just get my mom to do it but now I’m going into university soooo I gotta learn 😭
Seriously tho 😭😭
girl SAME!!
Whoa whoa whoa sis. I struggle parting the middle and top on my daughters head. How u gonna just edit how to do the top 🤣🤣 but u did that girl ❤️
it looked like it was ALL U-Parts. The very top would be what was left. The U would get tighter ad you get to the top....
Jessica Locke okay bc same.... I can get the top of my head right lol.
Right! Lol I need that top section :)
That’s the easiest part to see

I seriously dread parting my hair!!! You made this look so easy!!! I appreciate this so much!!
How many parts did you end up having?
You don’t know how much I love and appreciate this video a lot of hair pages should show how to part hair because it’s needed to try the hairstyles
Excellent tutorial!! Parts aren't too big or small. Just right! And doesn't take all day... I'm trying passion twists out this weekend
Finally something practical and reasonable for the beginning girl trying to save some coins. Thanks going to try it!
Can you make a tutorial on how you blow out your hair before protective styles
Your voice is so calm and soothing!!! I just had to say that first. I’ll definitely be saving this video for future parting though!
Thank you for actually showing how you parted the back! I feel like everyone always shows the front which isn't the hardest part at all.
ooohhh girl I'm glad I clicked on this video on because just watching your other one I didn't realize how much smaller your head was than mine. I was about to play myself getting 7 packs lmaooo
Girl, you are legit gifted. Just because of the fact you can u-parting you deserve an award sis 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Niecey facts they try to charge me more because I have “a lot of hair”
@@rtj2397if your hairs long it should be less because they'll need to use less hair 🧍🏻♀️
I'm learning how to braid my own hair because the last shop I went to charged me almost $200 and they didn't even do the parting right 😭
I’m like a year late but I have school in four days and I’m so grateful for this video
Again... didn’t know I needed this video until I saw this video, Lil Sis!! Yassssss
Does anyone else get dizzy from looking into two mirrors at once?? I think I’ll pay someone next time bc I felt sea sick 🤢
