- ****Helpful tips: If you struggle with braiding hair sliding down your piece of hair, point your hair up and then start braiding, THAT IS KEY!!! Go to 6:16, for demonstration.
- Don't forget to add a nice bit of gel when you're done with the braiding part and moving on to the twisting part of each twist. That is also key-- for making sure you're twist don't unravel at that part.
- If you want curlier ends, lightly dry the hair w/o squeezing a towel on it. Like lightly dry to stop dripping but don't squeeze hard, that's what makes it straight.
- Also, to avoid braiding on top of first notch, keep your hands moving down while hands are up, otherwise the braid won't continue down and could stay stuck at the root.
- ALSOOOO--- comb your hair before and after applying gel, for easy takedown, very important, check out • How to take down braid... for details.

You are literally so gorgeous I LOVE this style on you!!
Thanks hun!
Whew! I wasn’t ready for this slay, your hair looks amazing! 🔥🔥
Thanks hun!!!☺
I have fine hair too. This will be my next style. 😊
You did this! Very cute maybe I will try after I do the Flossi braids lol 🤔 my hair will never stay using my hair as the third leg in braiding but yours came out nice very uniformed parting and the bigger ones in the crown don't even matter because styles like this look good when there is some that are not so uniformed in size and love the color! ❤️
Thank you, thank you!! ☺
I love twists. Easier, lighter and the take down is quick. I use the janet collection marley hair and the curly piece at the end. Great job!
Ooo that sounds pretty and thank you.
I love it its so beautiful thank you for the tips ❤
Totally Beautiful and Well Done and explained!
Thanks hun!!
Hands down the best tutorial
Thank you, I really appreciate it!
Omg it makes so much sense to use a smaller added hair to the thinner edges. Thanks! I’m going to attempt doing my hair next week. 😳
Yes girly, you got this! Lmk if you have any questions.
This style And COLOR was meant for you😍😍 this is literally so stunning.

Your welcome hun❤, I'm glad I can provide representation, sometimes it's hard envisioning what you would look like when you see so many beautiful styles only on thicker hair. So hopefully you guys find my page helpful, but I will def continue to share more tips for all of us.☺
Thank you so much😊
I am sooooo in love with these. I can’t wait to do them on my cousin

Job well done
Thank you!!!
it helped thx Sheneah
No problem!
Beautiful!! Braids..🎉
By chance, do you have a video on how to add spring twist or Marlee braid hair to make or add as edges? Very good tutorial
Thank you, thank you!! As of right now, not yet, but it's possible I could make one in the future. I just like to use less hair for the edges, esp because mine are so thin. To see updates, def subscribe so you don't miss anything.
She is so beautiful 😍😍😍
Thank you hun☺
You look gorgeous 💛, I hope mine turns out like yours.😣
Thanks love, you're gonna look gorgeous when done!
Omg they look good I wish I could do my own hair I got thick coarse hair it would take three days for me to do my own hair no cap 🧢 but yes girl they look great ❤
Thanks hun, and yeah the more you practice, it becomes easier. I'm about to braid my hair again, and I'm mentally preparing myself for that very long day lol.
@@Sheneahsbeauty I feel you girl
your make up is sooo pretty
Thank you!!!! ☺
Love this thank u !!!!
No problem!!☺
I’m tryna do mine but it keeps slipping at the root 😢
@@denishacraig7053 grip your hair with you r fingers pointing up, that gets the braid to stay in the middle. You will get the hang of it, you have to teach your hands how to get the technique down.
in this video, go to 6:16, this view might help you a bit more.
Also, if you braid with your hair pointing up, that keeps the braid from slipping, thats why I kept mentioning in the video to braid up, but once you see that it stays, you can relax your hands and braid normally, for me this is key.
This style turned out super cute and I love the length!!. Could you please tell me what length and brand of hair you used 😍
Thanks hun, it's "Glance Braid" and 22"
I LOVE your hair , it turned out so perfect I really want to try to do this on myself. But I’m a bit scared 😫😫
Thanks love, I was scared too when it came to this color but it ended being one of the best styles for me. Def give it a try, your results will look great!
Go for it @Sanna Farrell ! Fight the fear and do it anyway. I'm about to give it a try for the 1st time myself. Bought 2 colours... one pretty similar to the main colour here. Was feeling anxious about using it, and was gonna leave it, but now I'm feeling inspired to use the full pack bcos of this vid! 🤩💪🏽
So so beautiful! Thank you for the tips! What colour is the hair you used? X
Thanks hun!!!! No problem! #27 water wave
@@Sheneahsbeauty thank you x
Omg!!...thank you!!...my hair is almost identical and I have had the hair for months scared to install it. Now I finally might do it. And now I’m having scalp issues w being tender😔
No problem hun! I would say do something low maintenance with your hair until your scalps feels normal again, also maybe like an ACV treatment, and aloe treatment to reduce scalp inflammation and restore the pH, then you should be good to go, you got this!!☺️
Here's the links for ACV and Aloe treatments: ruclips.net/video/wDKmOdDnV0Q/видео.html (aloe)
ruclips.net/video/fKQormIPlFE/видео.html (acv)
@@Sheneahsbeauty oh wow thank you!! I’ve never tried ACV..hopefully it helps
Girl same, my packs of hair still in the corner because I’m nervous!
Forgive me if this has already been asked but what brand, color & length of hair did you use? Also the name of the mouse? I couldn't find in your notes or comments 😢
lol babes it's okay, but all the info is after the intro in the video, take a pic of that screen so you know what the products looks like, and you don't have to use the exact products, any mousse will do and just wanna make sure the hair is that kind of twist hair, it doesn't have to be the same brand.
Stunning!! Can you link the hair you used?
Thanks hun, I got it at my local beauty supply. You can use any brand, but if you want this style then you should stick with the water wave texture or something very close to it.
Beautiful. Why colour did you use pls?
Thank you, and #27.
What do you use to wash your crochet hair ?
here's my in-depth tutorial of how I clean the hair: ruclips.net/video/bhOMUQgTn2Q/видео.html
I didn't think to dip that kind of hair in hot water I just thought it would make it straight and get rid of the natural twist that it has
It does a lil bit so I recommend doing only the tips and maybe a roller to keep the curliness at the bottom, for me its essential so that the hair doesn't get tangled.
You split one strand of hair and used a half of it per each braid (some using full strand but mostly half correct ?)
Hi and yes, if you go to 1:37 on the video, you can see all the sizing information. full hair strand is for the very top, like top 2 rows to cover the back.
you don't have to do that if you have a high hair density, like you don't see gaps in parts, then not necessary, my hair is fine so I like to cover any gaps in parting.
@@Sheneahsbeauty Hey. 👋🏾 Yes, you have a lot of fine hair just like me. Your hair is not thin. It’s thick (there’s a lot of it) and fine (texture).
@@michellerochon5023 Right, I agree but there are certain areas on my head that are thinner that give my hair the appearance of thinness. But I will say my hair thickness has increased since I started using healthier products, so I don't think it's as thin as it used to be, and I haven't got used to seeing my hair in a thicker light. But thank you for bringing this up, I've been going back n forth with myself about this.
😍🌞😘
Just from the video I can't catch the brand.....what brand of passion twist did u use pls?
"Glance braid" it's the water wave kind 22", you don't have to get the exact brand, I would say get same type of hair which is "water wave" or something very similar.
You think it would be ok for thick hair girls too?
Oh absolutely, this video helps everybody, I was just letting fine hair girls know that this protective style is good for us as well as thick hair girls.
What kind of hair did you use
All products used are shown after the intro.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How long did this take?
Chilee, I would say a good 16 hours, broken up over 2 days.
Pls what is the name of this, it's attachement or what
Sorry I didn't see this, but I call these mini twists with some twisting hair.
Are you two strand twisting or just regular twist? How long do this style last for you?
I braid a few notches, then I split my hair and add it to extension hair and start two-strand twisting.
I made it past a month, but you could go longer if you make sure to wrap with a satin wrap to ensure hair stays in place during shower and bedtime. Some nights I didn't, so it made the bottom back a lil frizzy so I took them out earlier than they needed to. I wouldn't go past 2 months due to build up.
What color is this?
#27
What brand the hair is and what kind
Take a look at :56 hun, that gives all the details you need.

THIN HAIR GANG👇👇🫠💋
How long does this normally last?
Mine lasted for a month, but could've been longer. If you wear a bonnet and braid it back into one or put it in a bun under your scarf, that will preserve them. Mine still looked good after a month but I went a few nights w/o my bonnet and the back twists had some hairs poking out so it created some knots at the end of my hair.
Ok thank you! Your tutorial was so helpful I've been doing crochet but I want to try this next!
@@christiannaauthor Thank you!!! And yes!!
ahh!!!! the tip in the description saved my lifeeeee 🥹🙏🏽💕
