- DND OC ANIMATIC to Every Day A Little Death from The Count Of Monte Cristo

I am the dungeon master of a dungeons and dragons campaign, and these animatics act as hints toward the lore for my players. Below i will describe briefly the characters and what you are seeing, knowledge limited based on my players ingame knowledge.

This is literally my favourite musical ahsdgfdusgfuids.
This animatic focuses on Lobo in prison. Upon getting the eye-disease he is cast away in jail.
Lobo is a werewolf human.
In prison, he recalls his past experiences and misses his partner, Zophelia - A Holy feather Warlock.
*A couple of you in the comments have said its difficult to see her face, she is what is known as a "Holy Feather" which is a homebrew dnd race my partner created. Essentially a large Aarakocra with wings on their face which can cover their many eyes - inspired by biblically accurate angels
When the vocals switch to focus on Zophelia, we see her speaking to Bryden - A Bugbear Ranger.
She speaks about Lobo, keeping positive and saying that they will find a cure for 'The Eyes' before it overtakes him. Bryden is jealous. He wants Zophelia to speak about him like that. He is mad.
Bryden is the warden and owner of the prison that Lobo is in, and upon getting overwhelmed by envy, he lies to Zophelia.
Bryden, in an attempt to take advantage of her when upset, tells her that its too late, that Lobo has already gone savage and been taken over by "The Eyes."
She is distraught, but doesnt seek comfort in Brydens arms, much to his disliking.
Lobo is still in prison, where no one can visit him anymore as Bryden shares the lie that he is too far gone.

fascinating - how with very little amount of strokes you are able to perfectly convey emotions and interactions between characters! Wonderful piece of art (And underrated too!)

These are some very interesting character designs! I can't quite get a read on the bird lady's face, but I am fascinated by looking at her
YEAH she has wings covering her face, tons of eyes and like tusks as well as her beak so it's kind of hard to get a read on her hahaha

Very interesting you ask. I could make a ten hour video on the entire thing but essentially there's a symbiote-like eye Hivemind disease. It's very cool. I'm the DM of a dnd campaign that this is the story for

@@fionabarraza4304 Fernand Mondego is the character in the actual musical, not my character. In my animatic, the wolf-man is Lobo, the bird-lady is Zophelia and the bugbear is named Bryden:))
@@Jaythingg bugbear? I thougth he is some kinda of demon or something relationated with Bryden, the Wolfman is Lobo (i guess he has a human name before he became to be like that) and the last but not less important Zophelia, i'm confused with her face i don't see her eyes or her mouth barely
@@fionabarraza4304 Yeah a bugbear is a dnd race, give it a google you'll see the resemblance. Yeah Lobo is a werewolf and Zophelia is kinda a funky design that my partner came up with, basically they have wings on their head which when they close cover their face aside their beak. And they have like loads of eyes and little tusk-beaks. I'm planning on posting some speed paints of the characters and their pallets anyway so it might be easier to see what they look like
