A well run prop firm like FTMO wont go down because they are the best and they don't offer these useless discounts and cheap prices.

That's what everyone said about MFF, and we all know how that went. The truth is that the business model used by prop firms is not sustainable. They make money if you lose and lose money if you win, and therefore have to depend on new purchases to satisfy their existing customers, that basically makes them pyramid schemes.

I don't think FTMO , 5ers goes down as they are in business for really long time and these new prop firms if they do some shady stuff obviously goes down sooner or later.
FTMO is one of the reliable ones.
Ive used them during my unprofitable years, i wasnt able to pass because of my own fault but I've never seen any drama or whispers of bs about them.

🏆🏆🏆 Always used FTMO but never passed a challenge yet. Got close to Phase 1 last time. Always use a reputable prop firm. Never use a discounted one.
prop firms are like trades, if you’re impatient and you want the cheaper prop or trade you’ll just get ripped apart. patience is key 🏆

@@gowo-qi2hk it’s kinda different, cause you can still trade 1% of 100k and get 10x of a 10k personal, and the 10k personal it’s still a “10k risk”, while a 10k drawdown on the 100k prop it’s just the challenge fee

I dont use Alpha Capital but to those who says Alpha will go under too since they offer 30-40% discounts, then this is for you.
Alpha Capital offers great discounts is because unlike other prop firms, they have their own brokerage server, which allows them to run the business at a much lower price.

Some prop firms are even offering jobs as licensed hedge fund managers if the customer passes many stages of challenges to rebrand themselves
May sound as a Cliche, but it comes down to consistency. You can't want to jump on a 100k challenge when you can't even trade $1000 personal account. Get your edge right and see how things start to flow smoothly
🏆the part about seeing people getting delayed payouts or denied being a red flag. I've joined some discord servers and I've been seeing that occur. Some have being waiting since April which is crazy.

Is kinda scary, I recently became funded with ftmo. Only a 10k. Wanted to start scaling up and then after that going for other firms. But I feel like these firms are not going to be round for much longer

I think we'll see a shift more to futures trading even for those traders outside of the US. As well as the existing prop firms bringing in rules more in line with Futures. Whilst also reducing the funded accounts to say $100k or even $50k max capital per account.

Since 2015 FTMO has been in the business for 9 years long-term they know what they doing. Most of these new prop firms don't even last a year😂. Either Shutdown or financial insolvency. I mean just look at what happened to TFF, SFT, TFT, ETC....
they do run on the large number of sim accounts bought and say they go live but only a fraction of the traders do

Biggest takeaway is staying away from these sketchy prop firms. I passed a challenge from a prop firm then after few weeks, the prop firm closed. I was about to request for a payout and get refunded for the fee I paid but guess what, they closed the business. What a big joke! Probably FTMO is the way to go, not so cheap like others but its a legit company.
After 6 months of backtest and refining my strategy. I bought a 10k Acc with Funded engineer on the 5th of July. 10 day later they declare banckrapcy. 😔😔😔. This video gave me a new direction. Thanks @kimmel

🏆Firstly, I would like to thank you for sharing your knowledge about prop firms with us who have little experience with them. My biggest takeaway was to just be smart when deciding which prop firm you are going to trade with and only to trade with the ones who have been around for a while and have a good track record. You also gave me a lot of hope that the prop firm industry isn’t going to fail anytime soon.

Have your own opinion, he can say it’s good and you could have a bad experience with them. If there’s a free trial, go for it, test the waters yourself. If not check reviews if you must or just pay the price and see for yourself

Really disappointed in FE but not all that surprised ultimately to me FX props are a means to an end meaning you use them to get payouts and fund your personal account
The best takeaway from this video is which Kimmel has mentioned million times that first learn trading and have a proper edge. And then come to prop firms. and then choose wisely the better and stronger prop firms. 🏆

Best way to choose prop firms is… don’t. Just trade your money. If you dont have enough trade demo account until you do.
That's bad advice. Not everyone has $100K to trade a personal account. But everyone has $500 to access a $100K funded account. Even if a prop firm ceases trading, a trader has practically lost their fee (unless they didn't receive any payouts).

Beginners must focus on learning , forming and getting familiar with their strategy then when your skill is showing good results, u will know from there how much u need. There's no amount that can save a losing strategy and there's no minimum amount for a good strategy
