    Crack Burger Ingredients
    1 lb 80/20 ground chuck
    3 tbsp sour cream
    2 tbsp ranch dressing mix (powder)
    1/3 cup cooked bacon crumbled(use fresh)
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    Bacon for the burgers
    Blue Cheese (optional)
    S&P to taste
    Mix all the above ingredients together and follow along!

    These recipes make about 2 lbs. and fit perfectly in a 33oz shaker.
    Put all ingredients in a bowl.. All are measured in cups.
    Ingredients for the SPG:
    1 CUP Kosher Salt
    2 CUP Coarse Ground Black Pepper
    1/4 Granulated Garlic(Optional)
    Mix all ingredients into a bowl and add to the shaker. A funnel works great for this.

    oh wow, I haven't watched your channel in a while and I just wanted to report back that this is the first video that I was able to watch through. I personally like the more natural Tommy much better than before. So from my side, hats off to you for the great progression

      That my friend means a lot. I've worked hard to try and switch it up to a more quicker style edit. My watch time per video is also up around 60% higher. Feedback like this good or bad is very important and greatly appreciated!

    I’ve made burgers like this since the late 70’s we also added Lipton Onion Soup mix for a nice onion burger:)

    American cheese belongs on burgers imho i dont use any other type usually unless im making jalapeno cheddar burgers , but you cant use that kraft singles garbage, gotta get it sliced at the deli counter, theres a major difference in how it tastes and melts

    Tommy, excellent video! I didn’t do bacon but I did mix up SBR sweet spicy bbq sauce and jalapeno ranch dressing 50/50 and holy moly that’s what im talkin’ about!

Can't wait to make me some crack burgers 😋 Hey, I saw a Lone Star Grillz 20x42 pellet smoker behind you there at the beginning - I knew had the LSG offset already - did you just get the pellet smoker? I have one and they are flat out amazing! Can't wait to see you cook something yummy on it 😊

      @thegalleryBBQ Awesome! The first brisket I ever did on my LSG pellet was a very low and slow overnight one - it took just over 20 hours. I started it at 180 a let it roll like that for about the first 12 hours - it picked up so much smoke! I kept bumping up the temp every couple hours and I never wrapped it. It turned out amazing 😋 Beautiful bark, very nice smoke ring and it was incredibly juicy too. Can't wait to see how your first one turns out brother!

    I dig Carmlized purple onion rings on top, with smoked cheddar, added diced hatch peppers in the burger. I Seasoned the butter with paul prudhomme meat seasoning magic on the buns. Bam!!

    Choice of favorite cheese for me is a Vermont sharp white cheddar.
    Tommy, these do look PERFECT!
    My crack burger would have caramelized onions and roasted habanero peppers.
    I have both cookbooks from the Waltwins and enjoy cooking out of them.
    Just last night (Sunday 04/07/2024) - I made burgers. 1.25 lbs 93/7 chuck, I added 1 egg, about 1/3 cup seasoned breadcrumbs, 1/3 cup Cabelas Maple Jalapeno seasoning, 8 to 10 dashes of Worcestershire sauce (Worchestershittershire as we say). One the griddle they went, topped off with Vermont white sharp cheddar.
    I look forward to making a "Crack" smashed burger with bleu cheese. YUM!
