I bet Gamma feels really stupid right now for ever trusting and staying loyal to Alpha. She now realize that she killed her own sister for nothing.
DWN KAOMWN damn man! Now that she knows that Alpha lied to her own people, it makes Gamma want to do something and that something is her probably going against her & switching sides to be with her nephew. Which I do see she’ll probably live or not.

@@algoodie7761 Yeah, Gamma killed her sister to save Alpha's life and she believed that Alpha made the same sacrifice for the Whisperers when Gamma thought Alpha killed Lydia. She realized too late that it was all a lie and her sister paid the price for that lie.

fun fact btw: Dante is nothing but loyal to the group in the comics, Maggie even starts a relationship with him...crazy change of character on the show, but imo for the better, cool twist as long as he lives a little longer

Dante wasn't even planning to kill him at first, only when he realized his cover was blown, if saddiq acted normal after hearing that mouth click he would probably have been alive to tell michonne about it.
Carol using Lydia, and Lydia running away, will put Daryl and Carol at odds. It will more then test their friendship. He is going to be pissed!!!
Especially since, and here's the 'Elephant' in the room, Lydia PRESENCE at the community was the ONLY thing standing between them and Alpha's Horde! Alpha typically DESTROYS surviving communities so that her people don't JUMP SHIP and join them so because of this they are confused as to why she hasn't just sent the Horde to destroy the those communities. The guy she killed is not the only one questioning things, the guy that fed Negan and the female that reached out to Gamma's little sister, even Beta's own 'questioning' of her judgement all go to show that there are literally 'cracks' in Alpha's armor.
Byrd yup, Carol pretty much just F'ft them all. And from Daryl's perspective, Carol straight up betrayed him.

that scene was insane! well done to the actors, that shot of Dante's reflection with the mask was so cool to me.

when Dante fitrst appeared, he was talking to Siddiq. and if you noticed, the camera zoomed to Dante's mouth, as if it was Siddiq's POV and the mouth was recognizable.. I knew it right there he was a Whisperer..

Yea, there is just a 10 min limit to what they can show on RUclips. They have to pick the 10 best minutes (doesn't have to be consecutive) of a 40 minute episode.
Rosita absolutely would have talked to Siddiq about that feeling of powerlessness because of what Negan did but it was completely glossed over cuz we're supposed to be all pro-Negan now and forget what he did.
Agreed. I was shocked she didn't console him and say she was in a similar situation with Negan and the lineup, but got through it.
Absolutely agree, this entire "pro-Negan, history-rewriting" bullshit is honestly annoying. Negan said he would never kill a child yet are we going to just conveniently forget that he was milliseconds away from swinging the bat on Carl's head before Shiva jumped him?

I’ve known Dante was a Whisperer since the season premiere. Everything about him screamed (or whispered) “Whisperer.”
I like that Rosita was the one to have this conversation with Siddiq. She knows that guilty feeling of being helpless and having to watch friends be killed. RIP Glenn and Abraham

Why do I feel like that "Sorry" and "You're my friend" from Dante was sincere?
Because despite Dante being a Whisperer spy, he had actually grown to like Siddiq. He even said when killing him "I didn't want this. Not you, not like this." Dante didn't want to have to kill Siddiq but once Siddiq realized Dante is a Whisperer, Dante knew he had to kill him so his cover wouldn't be blown.

Jay Chan Because there was no reason for him to say it, if he was not sincere. There was no one watching and Siddiq was going to die anyway, so him saying that is because he meant it.

If there are other infiltrators like Dante in the other communities, then Alpha has been in violation of her own treaty like before Carol crossed their borders or even long before that. That tree that fell on Hilltop's wall was probably one of those infiltrators. Leads me to wonder how many other Whisperer spies are in Alexandria alone beside Dante.

Delavonte Willis yeah I really can’t think of any one but there might have been some new faces there this season. Maybe there’s multiple, cutting down a tree seems like something you’d need to coordinate to do unnoticed. Or maybe whoever it was was the lookout when other whisperers did it.

The water filter was changed from drinkable to undrinkable but Siddiq changed it back so the water is fine now.
Sometimes making something painfully obvious is the best way to get you to doubt it. I think the Dante thing was a pretty decent double bluff.

Fuuuck I just finished watching the episode and came right here to get your reaction. I was stressed the entire episode thinking about if Siddiq was gonna die or not 😭
It was hilarious seeing you guys happy when Carol fed that whisperer food and then he spit it in her face seconds later lol.
I see a lot of confusion about the drinking water. The lever on the water pumps was changed from Drinkable to Undrinkable, presumably by Dante, which means it wasn't running through the filter. Siddiq changed it back to drinkable after he noticed so the water won't be contaminated anymore.

I literally had the same reaction as Nikki watching Siddiq get choked out.
At the end of last season, I really thought Siddiq was the traitor, (I’m so sorry about that) and the way they seemed to make it obvious that Dante was the mole, TWD always keeps you guessing until that reveal.

I know this is a reaction from years ago, but I wanted to say what an amazing portrayal of PTSD. The sticking his face in ice water can actually ‘shock’ your brain out of a flashback or terror.
I can be walking down the street and hear my ex whisper in my ear. I can wake from a night terror and still feel my ex’s hands/body restraining me… My service dog helps with those… it’s a Hell you relive daily… amazing acting! Thank you for putting a face on it!!
This was one crazy episode. I knew Dante was a weirdo, but, did not think he was a Whisperer. Season ten has been amazing, and it's hard to believe we are going on a break after next week. I'm thinking Alpha will be killed off next week. The question is, who will do it? Maybe Negan will? Gamma now knows alpha is a liar. Maybe she will. Maybe Carol will. Maybe Lydia will. We will have to wait and see. The way this season has been with shocking us, I wouldn't be surprised if that happens.

Yeah Michonne, Daryl and Carol are going to straight up triple team torture Dante for that. It still sucks though because Carl basically died for Siddiq to stay with the group.
BlueSkullX If it makes it better Carl gave him 8 years of life he never would have had. He even had a baby. But their world is cruel and fucked up, and even the ones we try and save can still meet that same fate one day.
Siddiq was with them for 8 years that is almost four times the amount of time the group spent with Carl. Just because Carl died saving him doesn’t mean he should live forever!!!
@@zurko1108 You're right. It doesn't mean he should live forever but to go out the way he did was a waste of both characters that were actually good. Siddiq being strangled by a spy who Lydia didn't even reconize is lame. Siddiq in the comics made it to the end.
BlueSkullX I disagree. In my opinion it wasn’t a waste because the PTSD scenes have been shown the whole season, now this episode they revealed all along it was Dante holding him. That’s great story telling right there. The whisperers are a big group who wear masks lol you can’t expect Lydia to know everyone. Just like how they were recruiting Negan to join, how do you know that they did not recruit Dante after Lydia and Henry were saved by Daryl. Andrea in the comics made it far, Carol died in the prison, Dante in the comics was a good guy. This just shows that once again the show does not have to follow the comics and can still tell a good story.

I don't understand why Carol would not have been 100% honest with Lydia about what she needer he for. I think Lydia would have understood and been willing to help. Instead she feels betrayed, used, and lied to by Carol.
Especially sense she told it should be Lydia's decision.

What an AMAZING episode! This would have made an excellent mid-season Finale!! Imagine that end-scene being the last thing we see for months!? Can't wait for next week!

Totally called it. I knew from the moment Siddiq looked at Dante's mouth I knew he was a whisperer spy. The reaction wasn't to the scalpel but Dante was clicking his tongue.
it's really sad because it's kinda like everyone forgot about Siddiq and what he had to experience. the people in the community just pushed his PTSD to the side and assumed he was fine.
I actually like Dante and was shocked he did what he did in killing siddiq and actually being the one that held siddiq and made him watch
Well in the season 10 trailer..I distinctly remember a scene of Rosita holding coco and crying..which makes me believe that siddiq is a goner..

Favourite scene in the past couple years was the scene between Siddiq and Rosita...the look on her face knowing exactly what he's going through (watching people you care about die right in front of you and not doing anything about it... Abe) but she just lets him get it all out, and is just so blunt with him.. I'm glad she is getting screen time again.

I'm currently at the part of this video where you're talking about how long it takes to choke someone into fainting. And this hit me hard because I've had a real bad experience with my ex. He choked me, the same way Donte choked Siddiq, and it may have only been a few seconds but to me it seemed like minutes before I blacked out. When I blacked out it was like I saw all these weird images in my head and it seemed like that also lasted a long time. When I came back to, I couldn't remember an anything about the images that ran through my head I just remember the fact that it happened. He let go and I threw up immediately. IT WAS THE WORST THING I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE. Watching Siddiq get choked hurt my whole soul.

I think the reveal also explains why Dante was so frequently arrogant and boastful - he had been living without an identity for years, so was overcompensating a sense of individualism. There could also be the argument that being able to be a person again was intoxicating for him, and being free to be himself, he overdid it due to years of suppression and denial.
The very first time we met Dante, I knew he was a whisperer. It was the way that Siddiq looked at him and Siddiq stared at his mouth when he was talking. I loved the parallel between Carol and Daryl. Daryl in season 2, he beat the hell out of Randall and Carol was disgusted with him for doing it. Then, Carol beating the crap out the whisperer. It really shows how much Carol has changed. RIP Siddiq.
Also, Daddy Daryl is gonna be pissed when he finds out about what Carol did to Lydia....

Saddiq was such a great character i really liked him, one of the only characters in TWD that I’ve never disagreed with, such a likeable and honest guy, im so sad.
I was also wondering why Aaron had not said anything about the walker in the creek but if they have a filtration system it kinda makes sense .
I think people were speculating siddiq was a spy because he has major PTSD from this but none of our characters were like this after Abraham and Glenn’s deaths, but I guess people handle stuff differently
i got the impression that dante didnt want to kill siddiq until siddiq heard the clicks of the tounge which is like a habit where it happens every now and then but i did not take it as dante full intention to go kill him

I FUCKING CALLED IT!!! From day one I knew something was wrong with Dante, and I even predicted he would kill Siddiq when he figured it out! Man, this show just gets better and better!!!

Siddiq wasn't sleeping though. Looked like his eyes were open when he went out. Watching the mid season finale trailer, they were all standing around a grave which is likely Siddiq. Mid season finale will be crazy. Can't wait to see
