    This is at best, a typical 26 inch flat tire rear hub Ebike that can handle some light off road. I will say it is a good value, but that wobble that so many are seeing may even take that away. But I am sorry, Lectric targeted an uninformed market and said this is the next off-road bike. Really sad as this could have been marketed and done very well for what it truly is. Just my thoughts. Very interesting that they recognized the problem with the wobble before the release.

    • @EbikeProducts
      @EbikeProducts  3 месяца назад +5

      Oh! Interesting. I didn’t know they knew about the wobble prior to the release. During the media media event a few months ago when a bunch of us tested them, I didn’t hear anyone say they felt a wobble. Also, that day no one tested any of the bikes with a load on the rack so I wonder when they found out about it and even more curious as to if it can be fixed. Lucky for me, I typically don’t ride with anything on the rack and I am thinking that me being only 5’5” tall is why I’ve not been able to make it wobble (unless I add something to the rack). You’re right, if it didn’t have the wobble problem I think the uninformed market would be totally forgiving, but being that many riders immediately added a rack to the back, the off-road target market wasn’t who may have been buying them and I can’t blame them for being disappointed. Lectric will undoubtedly bounce back, but for now the market may be have to be quickly educated by Lectric to prevent the wrong customer from buying it moving forward.
      Thanks for taking the time to comment and share your thoughts!

I would be in boots and utes when peddling so it may hit the fender and loading up my cargo baskets would be a big no-no due to the wobble. If I got the step thru already and want to just exchange for the step over would they exchange without a bunch of headache and cost? Just curious what you think. Thanks for the great video. I couldn't find one, other than a Grizzly, which I can't afford. Easily changed later, I still love my 20 x 4 inch fat tire.

    What about the wobble so many other reviewers have experienced while riding it?

    • @EbikeProducts
      @EbikeProducts  3 месяца назад +3

      There is definitely a wobble if you have something elevated on the back rack so this is not a good ebike for delivery people. I had no wobble when I rode and tested it on and off-road, even when I tried to make a wobble feel happen without anything on the rack. I am not sure about the step-over model of this ebike though. The wobble issue is pretty bad for anyone putting stuff on the rack, so that is a real bummer. I haven't tried it with a pannier bag yet, but I am thinking that may be a way to ride it with cargo.

    • @pedrofernandez8729

    • @EbikeProducts
      @EbikeProducts  3 месяца назад

      I agree, it's supposed to be more for the off-road mountain bike adventurer action rider. I'm most likely going to take off the rack and fenders. It's a great cruiser ebike too due to the shorter frame that allows for more upright riding and the soft ride it gives, but I can totally see why a lot of people would want it to be a commuter and cargo bike as it has more than enough power. It really is too bad that the wobble is so bad, other wise it would be a really big hit with delivery people too for sure.

      I'm confused. He says its the #1 Off Road Fat Tire ebike, yet acknowledges the wobble. Its not good for off road when it wobbles at every turn or your foot hits the tire. @@pedrofernandez8729

    • @EbikeProducts
      @EbikeProducts  3 месяца назад +2

      It’s definitely my #1 off road bike, but I don’t usually carry anything on my rack and it doesn’t wobble for me when the rack is empty. None of the other off-road e-bikes I’ve tested feel as good as the XPeak does due to the weight and how sturdy it feels.
      Its not a great ride if a bag is on the rack, but I couldn’t make it wobble even when I tried when the rack was empty and had nothing but great performance and steering the whole time. My feet are only 9” long so I didn’t have the foot hit the front tire problem.
      I think I’ll have to do a follow up video exclusively exclaiming why my claim is possibly only something I am able to make. I plan to remove the rack and fenders for a real off-road look sine the rack is only extra weight for me.

It's light, fast, powerful, and rides super smooth. I am rating it #1 for being a high performance value ebike. Sure, there are better ebikes out there, but none that I have tested that come close to this value for the ride you get. Mmm. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Not sure I completely agree. I personally think it’s #1 on performance and value for a $1299 ebike along with the power it gives you. I’ve had $2900 high performance mountain e-bikes that didn’t feel as good as the XPeak and would choose it over the others I’ve had. Based on comments I’ve been answering though, it could be that me being only 5’5” and not having a wobble when my rack is empty (which is how I prefer to ride off-road). The overall performance for me is incredible and it’s a bike that makes me excited to even think about riding which hasn’t happened in a while. Sadly, I am sure that a lot of people may agree with you as the lack of ability to put weight on the rack will limit the versatility of this bike for a lot of those who want to commute without wearing a backpack or use it for delivery etc.

      A majority of the fat tire e-bikes I’ve ridden for off-road didn’t handle nearly as well as this XPeak did. Dual motors are great and so is rear suspension, but it’s not really necessary for amateur off road riding at $1299. This is ‘high performance’ for the price you pay, but it’s not expected to be a pro level at that level of value. I believe it’ll exceed most people’s expectations if compared to anything at the same price going off-road, but higher priced e-bikes can definitely outperform it as you’ll be paying for the components.
