Amazing imagery! I'm planning on buying this lens, but i'm worried about the difficulties with using filters. I commonly use a diffusion filter to soften the look a bit and i'm afraid that if i can't use it with this lens the images are going to turn out too sharp for my liking. Is this lens soft enough not to worry about that? I'm especially interested in how it deals with light sources. Did you use any diffusion filters or effects in post? Thanks in advance
Thanks mate! If you get a matte box on rods it would solve the problem with filters. IMO you don’t need softening filters with this lens. The flares from this lens is amazing, the flares alone is making it worth buying. There is some glow added in post on a couple of shots I think, but no added fx/flares. Get one now :D
The Images look insane! Great job with the framing. I'm thinking about getting a Mir-20M as well but I found out that it doesn't easily accept circular filters like NDs. Did you find a solution for this to adjuust exposure?
@@viktorbrunoe Sounds logical. :) I've read that the non-MC Mir-20M apparently looks "better" than the MC Mir-20M but the close focus is 0.7m instead of 0.18m. Did you have any issues with this while shooting?
@@MarcelGlas I have the older version. IMO the close focus ability is amazing and I rather have that then multi coating. You can get really cool compositions 👌🏻
Very cool clip! Quick question- is this the MC or single-coated version?
Thanks, its the single coated version.
so cool
Looks great! - which brand speed booster are you using?
Thanks! Its a metabones speedbooster xl. Mft-EF
