    The argument I'm hearing here is exactly what 3 visits worth of a dietician's professional knowledge has given me. This is:
    Lean meats (90/10) are important as they serve as your protein for muscle maintenance.
    Fats that are fruit based (olive oil, avocado), dairy based (butter, milk, cheese, yogurt, and milk curds) and nuts/seeds are okay if you pay attention to where they're coming from and how much. (exclude cream cheese, that's a high sugar based dairy)
    Sugars are only good if they're from a fruit.
    And, PAY ATTENTION TO how many carbs you put into your system. Vegetables are important and grant a lot of nutrients.

    I had a wake-up call in 2012. Like this man, I delved into learning about health and nutrition. What I learned ultimately is common sense, but 99.999% of people, including the very sick, just don't want to receive it. Mainly because their cultural paradigm (which is their 'truth') will not allow them to open their mind. Bottom line for me: ALL "dis-ease" is ONE disease. And that disease is a malfunction on the cellular level. When our cells are fueled correctly, they will heal correctly. We are designed that way. No doctor or medication EVER healed anybody. The body ALWAYS heals itself when properly fueled. The proper fuel is specific to each species. With the human species, fiber is essential for digestion. But the fiber is what passes through. It is the 'juice' that is IN the fiber that fuels our cells. We were designed to eat a species specific diet of fruits and vegetables. Animal flesh and animal products have NO fiber. Humans can get by for awhile eating almost anything. But as we see and know, it eventually catches up with you in one way or another. For health, the optimal human species-specific diet is a variety of whole, fresh, ripe, raw, organic plants. And moderate exercise. It is that simple and true. It is not 'hard' or difficult or complicated or confusing. It's a matter of shifting the mindset.

    Extremely well balanced. Also:
    1) Growing up in the 50's & 60's there was no such thing as a picky eater, however, there was such a thing as sitting at the table for an additional 2-3 hours till you ate what was served;
    2) I am stunned to hear that you can heat olive oil. For years I heard that you should not do so and about four months ago I finally made the switch to avocado oil when it came to cooking;
    3) Very surprised to hear what he had to say about mouthwash.
    Great interview.

    I have a birch pollen allergy and am unable to eat most fruits and some vegetables. I also cannot consume any form of soy, regardless of processing. However, the vegetables that I can eat, I always keep a bunch of them in my freezer and fridge so that I can obtain those essential micronutrients. Additionally, as I engage in bodybuilding, I consume a significant amount of high-quality protein. Nevertheless, I will certainly purchase that book because I have a deep passion for nutrition and everything related to it.

    We already know the Mediterranean diet is the optimal human diet for the vast majority of us. But that’s not exciting enough for people so we have to complicate thing and make up all these other diets.

    I love salmon, but it's expensive. A box of mac and cheese is much cheaper, and goes further when your feeding a family, Unfortunately.

    • @SilverHawk214
      @SilverHawk214 Год назад +4

      Make your mac and cheese at home if you can afford cheese. It tastes better and doesn't have the added sugar or high sodium of the box stuff.

      @@SilverHawk214 I totally agree, I do make home made mac and cheese, and like it better than boxed. It's still not salmon, and still cost more than a couple boxes of Mac and cheese. When we were raising four kids and money got tight, this was cheaper and more readily avilable. I'm just saying the food that is healthier is often much more expensive. These days, I know, ever

    I wish I could ask Lugavere about his thoughts on what vegan activists are so loud about on how all animal products are terrible for your health as is smoking + should be taken off our plates entirely mainly saying a vegan diet and literally lifestyle is the healthiest way to go. Where as I can see, many people have struggled or nearly got sick while on a plant based diet. As a matter of fact, I am very worried about Lugavere being called out and taken out of context by these animal activists in their awfully rude and butt-hurt manner. I'd like to ask him if he would agree with this conspiracy theory I made up. These animal activists DO NOT CARE a shit about human health! They are only fear mongering into their lifestyle so they can get away with what they truly want. All they care about is animals! They've grown an only extreme believe that every living being (not including plants) sees the world the way we do when in some ways is difficult to even imagine. All together, they don't like the idea of domestication and that all together is cruel. I'd ask Lugavere if he would agree that these activists and even doctors that support them were actually cherry picking data just to get the result they wanted. In their true ideology they want to take our domestic animals out of our lives and no more than they most likely want to end the human race if you were to plug all this.
    As far as regards to animals and the environment, I'd want to ask him in how we deal with that while still doing the proper thing for our health as he explains. This is why I am saying that what we really need here and deserve is how animals, nature and human can all be healthy and happy at the same time, WITHOUT any inconvenient sacrifice or suffering death! Otherwise, it should be important to note that nature isn't perfect just like how none of us are perfect.

    I believe you need to be careful when talking to someone and they promote not eating at certain way when health benefits are shown or Keto and such. It is what your body tells you when you eat certain ways you listen and not to people who do what he and others say. This piece make me sad for it come some somewhere I was respecting and now have lost a bit of respect for.
