Thank you for showing people from around the world . . Very great to see them during the lockdown and lots of fun, interesting new subjects from everyone- Thank you, Sarah
Hello from Scotland UK. It is so great to see everyone’s beautiful and very diverse projects. I am in awe of everyone’s talent - and Natalie, your sloth is absolutely gorgeous 😍 Keep safe all of you 💞
Wonderful, dazzling! So much daring use of metallic tnread, we must all be getting terribly house-bound. I have fallen in love with Brenda's beautiful polar bear with his glittering heart, and Belle's red panda daemon is amazing -- can it be you've only just begun to embroider? The set of butterflies in all different techniques from The Netherlands, and the mom and kids from San Francisco, all so beautiful and full of heart. I have been enjoying this art I left behind forty years ago in my way. It does more than just pass the time, and the beautiful things will still be there long after the world is well again. Be well, everyone! I hope this gathering may gather again some day.
I love watching this type of video. It is inspiring to see the projects people choose and that needlework is alive and well all around the world. Thank you all for doing this.
Really appreciate the lockdown videos, so inspirational, so many different talents - please make more, brand new to your channel. Thanks, Wendy from Haliburton, Ontario, Canada
I like watching these and seeing what everyone is working on. It is starting to feel like a community and we all have something in common. I hope you can continue to do them, Sarah. It is a great idea
Yes, please continue to do this. I really enjoy your classes but also love seeing the creativity of others. Too bad they can’t hear me say how beautiful their work is. Thank you Sarah
We hear you and thank you! I know that if you are stitching, we would love to see what you are doing too! (This is Cheyenne, on my partner's account because we share)
Sarah, I was in your first stitching around the world compilation, but somehow this one had managed to escape my notice. It's wonderful! Every time someone and something new came on screen I thought, "This is my favourite!" They are all so beautiful and inspirational, and it is wonderful to see so much creativity and joy. I would love to see more of these: perhaps you could ask people who have followed your tutorials to share their works with us? Just an idea. And thank you, once again, for your fabulous channel and brilliant tutorials. I watch you every day!
We have four so far Sarah, check out the 'Stitching around the world' playlist and the same page on the website! We are also taking more videos for the next one so please feel free to join in again...

@@SarahHomfrayEmbroidery ps I can now watch via You Tube on my t.v. monitor a my son got me a Firestick. T.V reception is not good here so the Firestick is brilliant. Technology is great - when it works :-O
Sarah, the mirrored work the fellow from India was showing is lovely. Also so was everyone elses. Is there a specific name for the type of mirrored work embroidery?
The particular pieces that Gautam showed from his collection are from the Ahir and Mutwa communities. The mirrors are shisha mirrors and we have several videos on how to work these on our channel Roberta so do check those out! If you like these pieces have a look at this video I made with Gautam when he came over to England last year: ruclips.net/video/XWY5K_4-RUc/видео.html
