See I have heard many songs but it has never been good enough to make me wanna look them up but when I have heard it Iv enjoyed, but this song I definitely have listened to many times
The song is in Drop F. Heaviest tuning they've ever done. Aside from the breakdown in Like Love which is in Drop C down an octave
Didn't listen to Amity for quite some years now, but I really liked the song.

Don't know anything about this band but the name, keep hearing people aren't that big fan of their usual sound, but had to admit, this song as a discovering one does the job really well... Really like it, maybe just a bit classic in structure (verse/chorus/verse/chorus/bridge/chorus) but man !! That's an effective song, heavy, melodic, and this bridge is so damn cool!!
I'll probably check their new stuff to come in the futur...

I enjoyed this song, but I truly wish they didn't repeat the chorus for a third time at the end. They could have easily found a way to switch things up. Other than that, it's a fine song.
My guy the chorus is so short. It's like 20 seconds max. Not a big deal. They had a long bridge, so a short ending chorus makes sense.
@@nicholasjackson8782 I get your point, but from a structure POV, it's still uninspired compared to writing something different to switch things up instead of doing a copy and paste. When you've been listening to this genre for so long, it gets boring, but that's my own personal opinion obviously. You're entitled to your own and I respect that.
@@adecakaship2486 oh I agree completely. It's super generic. Really predictable. But sometimes the predictability is what makes things melodic and catchy because you are anticipating the resolution of the musical motif. I think it's one of those things that if you like the chorus you'd love to hear it for a third time but some may have found it bland/repetitive/generic and preferred they go on a different direction
