At 3:45 he mentions there is no map... Are you telling me that he's gotten all the way into oil refinery and trains and he hasn't researched the map yet? Glad to see Nerdcubed is still the same as always.
40hrs in and he says "I think you unlock a map later".

That wasn't even the northern-most point, just in the west half of the map, the east half has a bit that's a lot more north

Here are some tips! Research caterium ore so you can unlock mark 2 power poles, and sreseach blade runners so you can run faster. Also Find quartz which is neat the lake. This can be used to rescearch a map and an explorer which is a dune buggy that allows you to travel and explore super perfectly! Also, you can build out into the void. There is a large open area that is an actual desert, it is pretty much to the north of your oil area
I built a power plant in that lake too! It used to be so pretty, and now it's all concrete flooring and smog... A clear improvement.

I’ve never been more happy with hearing dan. that’s it
Most of the game of Satisfactory is the addictive yet still kind of simple and repetitive building and resource management, so he didn't do the normal stuff for this video. I love how Dan always saves a more interesting, exciting, and adventurous task for the Plays video on whatever game he's playing.
This game is really impressive. The animations are great, the graphics are nice to look at, the world is huge and interesting. Really amazes this came from the people who made goat simulator.
I started playing a few days ago and already have too many hours in the game trying to make my base look less like a plate of Italian food. I left it on overnight and got thousands of items I'm not even using.

I love that he learned and then unlearned that he can flip overturned vehicles in the same video.
Tips for you Nerd. 1. Find mushrooms. They will lead you to fabric. 2. Find a quartz node. You are going to need it. 3. Learn how to tame lizard doggos. They are the best bois and will make it worth your time to tame and pen them.
Just some tips (though never asked but thought could help),
you can unlock double ramps in the AWESOME shop to help stack ramps easier instead of foundation, ramp, foundation, ramp like at 25:16,
for the fire dudes, you can hit a fire ball and strike it, then back off. though I dont think you will and just charge in like the numpty you are.
Also thanks for the tip of having the overflow coal from the coal stations be used for the steel mills.

in one of your videos, you recommended Let's Game It Out, so now i love his content, and i especially love his Satisfactory series. it's weird watching someone play the game earnestly and without enough resources to do anything just because of how long everything else takes to work incorrectly. love you, Dan, and thanks for introducing me to his stuff.

At some point, I seriously want to build a train line from the southernmost point to the northernmost point. One LONG train line back and forth.
Quick reccomendation, the exploration part of that game looks very similar to no man's sky. After the updates it looks much better and is actually enjoyable. Every planet is different and a new experience (after the updates)
Not gonna lie that last time I watched dan was about 3-4 years ago and when I just randomly remembered this Channel and heard “Hello procrastinators” I almost cried it brought back so many memories

Tips:
- you can ctrl click an object into another storage place (e.g. truck) and i will send all stacks of that item into the truck.
- put an AWESOME ticket thing into the AWESOME sink to unlock a secret vehicle in the AWESOME store.
- since you did that 3 second scan on quartz, you are able to scan for an infinite resource of it.

Satisfactory is basically Factorio in 3D.
You DO have to possess a pretty beefy PC to play it with any degree of sincerity though.
There is a fantastic beauty to Dan's mess of a factory.
Dying and having to go all the way across the map to get my stuff, monsters and hazards that make that task hard, and everything that happened in the last two minutes of the video are the reason survival games anger me the most.
Seeing the fucking cats as spiders thing killed me, that's such a dan thing to do
